both sona and seraphine plays almost identical to each other. you have to land your most important CC aka ult. you are backline supporting the team with shit ton of damage if you build AP. only difference is sona is single target burst while seraphine is aoe bursts but at the end both does the same thing.

Riot buffed Wukong and gave him 2 ultimate casts which put his winrate up to 55% in toplane and jungle, making him the highest winrate champ in the game. Everyone wanted it reversed, including the wukong mains. But riot told everyone to get fucked and the 200 years meme was a side effect of that.

@@kimjongwoo8219 I just played destiny again yesterday and my weapons just glitched and I couldn’t do any of the newer stuff cause my item level was 0 lol
I just want to point out that Aphelios isn't necessarily difficult to play (or at least he wasn't around release). All of his abilities and guns synergized together so well that you could kind of just use them all and get value. The biggest problem was that he was insanely difficult to play *against*. Because none of his guns had significant weaknesses, but every 2 weapon combo had a different "I win" sweet spot. It meant that you had to constantly be keeping in mind what could happen to you, through a wall of poor visual communication. A lot of the power of Aphelios was situations were, for example, he'd drop out of one weapon into Calibrum/Infernum and suddenly your whole team would have to scatter to avoid being team 1 shot by his long range ult burst. Like, it's okay for Oriana to have that kind of ult because when you play against her you know to consistently watch out for it. But against Aphelios, you never know what his advantage state is. EDIT: I just want to point out that this is why I think it's okay that Aphelios got Olaf'd. He just wasn't healthy for the game. If pro player cannot figure out what the hell a champ is doing, then his visual communication is bad. And if a champ's kit is so convoluted that improving his visual communication isn't possible, he shouldn't exist. Period. Aphelios needs a rework.
He was (and still is) difficult to use. You don put 10 games and undertand the combos and from them is improving execution and micro plays, he needs many more games to get while spending a lot of time seeing all the interactions and what you could or should do. He was insanely strong and has a high skill floor and one of the highest skill cealings.
Ya aphelios is not really hard to play at all once you understand what each guns does. Their abilities just overlaps to each other with his Q. And yes going up against aphelios is really taxing due to you needing to know his rotation of guns and keeping tabs on his ammunition. For his visual cues, I think the best thing Riot can do is actually change the look of aphelios as a champion. It would actually make him look cooler as well, similar to how kayne looks different from his blue and red form, aphelios should have a certain look for each gun in which should be flashy with the corresponding colors of the gun that he has on his hand.
The problem with him is that they had a plan and they didnt do a great job of it. The goal was to give him uniques with each gun like aoe dmg or healing or long range for safety or cc or kind of assasssin playstyle but the problem was that it didnt matter what u choose bc u will win either way.
@@peekjz145 yeah he isnt hard to play..u dont need really high skills e.g. zed or akali or irelia. the learning curve is understanding his kit. iirc they wanted an adc where u didnt necessarily need high mechanics but game knowledge to outplay..they overtuned that
@@regalvas He has a high skill ceiling yes. But he has an extremely low skill floor. I got 145k damage in my second game as him a month after release with two pentas in D1 elo on EUW.
I like how when he was first revealed, the reactions were: "seems like he'll require a lot of skill" "no mobility on ADC, weak champion" Well we saw what happened... Then after all the nerfs to make him almost unplayable in soloq they release Samira
He's still pretty strong tbh. He's considered A tier for pros. But your ultimate won't get you a penta automatically anymore. And you usually won't survive a 3v1 either unless you're like 20/3 and your enemies are like 2/11 but yeah he's still very strong and the new shop has also kind of buffed him a bit.
@@ig1948 Key here is soloq vs pros This preseason is all whack (as usual), but in the weeks leading up to worlds, he basically became Azir tier: Workable for pros in coordinated teams and proper teamcomps. God awful in soloq Yes, in pro play, he could work very well with a proper teamcomp, and as a good counterpick vs certain teamcomps as well such as close-quarters heavy teams But in soloQ, this guy was stupid hard to play with one of the lowest winrates in the game. 99% of the time your 4 randoms are NOT going to make a teamcomp built around you, nor will they want to play around you. They will play their mains/comfort picks and will play accordingly on their own
Okay So, I recently picked up Aphelios and he easily became one of my favourite champions because of his kit. And personally, it is not as complicated as people make it seem like. I pretty much understood what he does after 3-4 games and soon learnt deeper mechanics to carry games further. In fact, I can now tell what an Aphelios does if I'm matched against him. Sure, I might have a lot more to learn, but he isn't too difficult to understand if you've played him
its more the fact that he requires a long, albeit simple, explaination that people just end up saying 'champs too complicated' when they just don't read what the champ does
@@imminotaur400 The best thing that players in to do is just play a couple of games, when he was released, he became my second main champ, and he's not really complicated and with the recent buffs, he's honestly a viable B+ tier pick
@@rangered_64 nope he is S tier if you know the rune and item combos plus when to do what. After mid game you can literally clean out jungle and get massive amount of money for that extra damage. Each wave gets destroyed within 4 secs.
Well, i'd think that's most people right? Hardly no one plays every game they cover. I play Lol/Cs/Rainbow6, but never played Smash, and haven't played fighting games like Tekken/KoF/MK in over 10 years.
there is power creep and then there is purposefully trying to sell a busted champ so riot makes a quick buck and then nerfing into unplayability once the money has been made. its not something new
@@generalians its a bit of both, and the biggest issue here is that they purposefully release OP champions because otherwise they would release with a 41% or less wr in soloQ, at the same time, once time passes by, this extremely complex champions dont really succeed in SoloQ and only some of them succeed in proplay, this is because doing anything complex in soloQ tends to backfire a lot, thus why champions like Janna, Alistar, Syndra, Jax, Amumu have always have good or decent winrates through 10 seasons of LoL, they are simple, easy to execute, of course you will find your batch of onetricks that have thrown countless hours into learning 1 champ and will clap anyone who steps in front of them, but sometimes u cant 1v9. Power Creep has been generated just because the game keeps growing, and new champions cant have the same kit as older champions but with different names, you dont want a second alistar, a second syndra, etc. Players want something new, something clever, but old champions deserve to be reviewed at least once every 2 years to be sure that their kit isnt completely obsolete. There are champions with simple kits that are extremely clever creations, and the first one that comes to mind is Singed, his kit is literally, press Q and run around, but his gameplay is so unique, from proxifarming to teamfight approach.
I feel like its inevitable, games like this will always have a power creep and props to the dev team they actually made an interesting champion in League that is comparable to Dota 2's Invoker. But heres the thing, Ophelios would've been fine as he is if only they would actually buff the older champs. Not necessarily a rework but removing arbitrary limitations. Like for example, why does attack speed can improve Graves' reload speed but for Jhin can't? There's a ton of shit like this in league which in my opinion why the older champs can't keep up with the newer champs. The new are always going to be stronger, interesting and free unlike the older ones.
I agree, by trying to create new and fun mechanics, Riot are (volunterarly or not) introducing powercreep(-ing?). The best example for me was the rework of Aatrox. The champ was like a weaker version of tryndamere that couldn't really find its place in the toplane nor in the jungle, the pick was really weak, totally ignored aside from some OTP's and didn't really fit anywhere in the meta. Then one day they totally reworked him (more like introducing a new champion) in a 1v9 unkillable Riven with a built in GA and Death Dance. For this one time only, I think they really tried to give the champion a new kit without selling skins (I am looking at you Akali, Evelynn, Ashe...). The pick was god-tier for a long long time and destroyed the balance of the game and competitive play, just like Graves and Nidalee are right now. In the end, the balance team are just shifting the meta on a whim, for skins, for diversity or just because they don't have a clue of what the frick they are doing.
I remember a time when Riot was able to make new champions good to understand, fun to play AND fair to play against. Hot fixes were always a thing but these days atleast every second champ is just a block of text which needs a PhD to understand
At least you know what samira is going to do and can attempt to play around her kit and counter her. Kind of hard to counter a ranged Udyr who doesn't telegraph what he's doing other than a small weapon in his hand. Like I'm expected to pay attention to that and be able to see it in the middle of a fight?
@@brandonathertonThat's bs, people that didn't read Aphelios won't read Samira cuz of the same reason: they think every champion should be comprensible just by looking at them. In reality, most champs have their kits hidden. Did you know Zed gets 2s off from W CD when he hits a champion with his regular E? Did you know Orianna only gets more magic dmg with autos when attacking only the same target? Did you know W or Zhonyas increases the active time of Vladimir's Blood Rush Q? These are things that matter, but people refuse to read. You can imagine what people will think when they see a champion with walls of text obliged just to know what he's doing. After I read all of his abilities and interactions, and played a couple of games, I understood what he does and it was also more visually clear. Samira is not much different, people who don't read just see her dashing and throwing Kat Rs all around.
The broken thing about aphelios is hes actually quite simple with some games played on him. Managing what weapons are the most optimal for a teamfight isn't even that difficult with the ammo system, you can just press q to cycle faster through your weapons. You also have to know what the best weapon combos are which is also easy because theres really only like 4 of them. The hardest thing about this champion is positioning without mobility and not getting one shot.
League is faster-paced than Dota 2. You'll hit your item spikes before Karl. Go farm and farm and farm and then fucking nuke his Ancient from the lunar orbit.
People complaining that Aphelios is crazy complicated. Me who played Invoker for 5 years: wtf are these ppl on about? Try rotating through 9 active spells with different cooldowns, without a predetermined order, oh and also try having 3-4 active items as well, oh and also a refresher orb (item that instantly refreshed all your cooldowns, both spells and items) oh and most importantly you need to press 4 keys in order to create a spell at a 2 sec cooldown. Yeah really tricky this Aphelios. P.S. I am also playing a ton of Lol and love both games
"maybe players in soloq just don't know how to fight him" I remember in D1 we were against an Aphelios this was super late in the match I was Olaf that had Triforce and Thornmail and Randuin's my irelia had the same main items, The Aphelios had no last whisper item all crit and just death's dance, we caught him in river and were on top of him only to get melted and see irelia do miniscule amounts of damage. I was basically all armor with frozen heart and He just melted both of us by just standing there and autoing us. That's when I knew Aphelios was hands down busted
While the aphelios discution was the reason behind the "200 years" meme, the thing that makes it going on was (and still is) the riot desing team being brats who've made little to no change in the direction of champion balancing prior to their release. The same thing has already happened with Samira.
but invoker makes sense and is relatively straightforward to understand at a glance and isn't 'uhhhhh but if you're in red weapon uhhhh ultimate ability does big blast but only with blue weapon lifesteal ten quid' lol
injoker aint complex my guy, its just memorization. 200years atleast requires alot of planning ahead and pretty advanced game mechanics meanwhile injoker blast+meteor, someone got close? ghostwalk and sunstrike for ks.
This is what happens when you have a game designed around strengths and weaknesses, capability and incapability; and then you release a hero that can choose to do anything. No matter how low numerically the numbers go, being able to adapt to any situation is incredibly overpowered.
It can be done though. In Dota there's a champion (Morphling) that can drastically reduce his max hp to get very high attack speed, damage and physical armor. If done correctly you're almost unkillable, but if you mess up you get one-shot by a support.
This is what happens when you design a game around selling you champions and try to make relatively easy and so "accessible" that when you do something different it breaks, you cant nerf to oblivion the thing you are selling and the skins than come with it by extension. Most of the time i wonder what the devs do other than work on the next thing they will sell, lots of champions neglected in kits, skins and balance regarding the new ones. Any competitive game has characters with balances, strengths and weaknesses, i used to play dota and even if the game is less player friendly and a bit more complicated i dont know why but valve manages to balance things pretty well, tbh lately i ve grown frustrated with league and champions like this one is a constant problem.
@@luna775 In my opinion League is much less player friendly, because much more toxic and much more unbalanced. Or you mean "player friendly" by the mechanics of the game and the complexity ?

@@Baykko Only Yone's Q is the same, and it's fine since he's a wind samurai too, like it's supposed to be basically the same. Still a bit different since his forces him in, and he doesn't have the hyper mobility or safety net either. He's very different, if visually similar. Like I despise Yasuo but enjoy Yone, as a bruiser main. Lilia is very different as well. Her q is again similar to Darius, but no healing, and everything else is pretty unique. Seraphine however has insane overlap, and that's why she's not okay. It's one thing when it's one or two abilities PARTIALLY, but another when it's like 2/3rds of someones entire kit, and 1/3 of anothers, lol.
i mean sure aatrox/riven and yone/yasuo have some very similar abilities in their kits but they play completely differently and have completely different playstyles (riven and aatroxs e and q might be similar but their w's are completely different, same with yasuo and yone and their e's)
He isnt complicated to understand or play. Only having the right guns for teamfights. He was hard to balance bc he has a lot of different numbers on each q and ult, and as the video said pros picked melee teams vs him.
I personally adore Aphelios. His uniqueness is what makes it so interesting to play this character, and I think that most of his power goes from people that don't even bother to read what this champion does and how to play against him
Aphelios was the result of the most ass-backwards logic in competitive game design history- he was designed to be as weird and different and complicated as possible, like a champion from an entirely different game, but was then made _intentionally overpowered_ on the absurd assumption that "He's so hard to play that nobody will be able to master his power fully, which will keep him in check". And then of course the people _who get paid money by Riot themselves to play the game for a living_ mastered his power fully and he wrecked the professional scene (not to mention the higher tiers of the ladder, where dedicated amateur players are almost as good as pros) and Riot realised they'd made a huge mistake. And then Aphelios got the Irelia treatment. Honestly, what did they expect when they designed a champion who literally _had everything_ except mobility (and he's far from the only ADC to lack mobility)?
@@AjayKumar-ht9pk OK, Samira I can see, but Senna...? Yeah, she's weird and different, but not complicated at all, she just has bizarre AA mechanics. They didn't try to gate her power level by her difficulty level the way they did with Aphelios.
@@ArcaneAzmadi Senna is broken in a whole different way than Aphelios, she is just a stat stick with a cheap build, peel, stealth, healing, cc, ability to make cross map plays built into her kit by default. No wonder all pro leagues were trading Aphelios/Senna every game to have a chance. When was the last time u saw an adc going umbral+manamune and still criting like a beast in teamfights.
I went bot as him for a week and kept getting my ass beat. I know how to play him, I'm very comfy with him, but all the other ADC's I play against know how to abuse me. But I decided to go mid, change my runes, change my build, and on my past three games, I went 5/0/12, 12/1/10, and 11/0/7. If you know how to harass him, he is trash. Wait for him to hit Q, and once he does, POUNCE HIM! But if you're like me, and take your sweet time and make good decisions, the enemy team will eat your shit. I'm a proud Aphelios main.
Yes agree. He now needs actual skill and knowledge to be useful and it feels so rewarding to be one of a few who actually plays him. Also i love that still the most people doesnt know what He does, wich is another factor to me, why hes so fun. Love people pinging questionmark when u pull of some tripple gun combos and they doesnt know how they died 😆
I'd love to see more creative champs, and less overtuned champs. 4 skills is plenty if 1 of them has nothing comparable to it in the game. Rito is stuck on the same stats; range, lifesteal, damage, movement speed, etc. There are SO many other neat things to add beyond mixing those 4 skills in the same ways over and over.
@@alex2005z I think there is still room for improvement overall, but yes, those are much better than a lot of what we've been seeing. Gwen's W doesn't strike me as incredibly unique, but good enough I suppose. Viego's passive is not wildly different from Sylas, but again, no complaints here. Akshan's revive is cool, although it kinda feels like a tacked on afterthought. Not perfect, but ABSOLUTELY a step in the right direction in my view.
How come champs like Kayn, Darius, Garen, Yi , Katarina, Yasuo, Riven, Yone get to 1v3, yet when an ADC does it its broken and oh my god we need to nerf this. I swear people just want the adc to be a free bag of gold to pick up whenever you see them, just had a game where Kayn killed five of us 1v5 , TWICE, he got 2 pentas in a row. i've seen Riven and Darius do 1v2 and 1v3 like its nothing, but oh god an ADC that has to auto 3 times in between using 3 abilities to activate their ult that can be canceled by literally any cc other than slow? You just saved your supp by eating that cc, literally no skill high reward champs all over the place
And a few months ago riot released a roadmap, that they want to put out 6 champions per year. Every single year, 6 new Champions. Meanwhile the massive item changes of the current preseason will probably create a broken mess which will take at least 6-12 months to fix, and another year to actually be fun to play. They should really look towards slowing down the expansion of this game, and instead focus on creating a fun and balanced experience, while slowly shifting resources to other games. Season 10 was really fun to play. I truly don't understand why they are doing this.
To be fair riot released new heroes every 2 weeks during season 1 and 2 for a while. That was the time when heroes like riven and talon appeared, and while I agree that they are not the most balanced champions in the game, their kit stood the test of time remarkably well. I don't think it is the time requirement that hinders champion planning , but the fact that with this many champions already in the game, originality is more and more tied to complexity which often ends up resulting in overloaded kits
@@pierrehun93 riven is actually a shit design. They wont buff her because onetricks will demolish evryone in challenger and maybe some in pro. And right now shes like dogshit, 45% wr lmao. And now cut to season 14, where Aphelios has a 47% winrate in soloq because Riot needs to keep him "weak" for the general players so he doesnt fuck up the competitive. And as an recent Aphelios OTP i think it's totally fair, the champ is busted
Riot Games: "Ofc this is op and we can't balance him. Let's make him a stone that doesn't do anything at all." The only way they can balance is destroying their champs. Like for who remembers Azir.
That’s what really annoys me, I sort of mained him causally and I didn’t know about him one snipping people at all so I’m surprised but rlly this is true, I’m not sure if the buffs to Aphelios put him back into the meta but honestly riot should stop releasing champs so early and do their research on them first.

The "Aphelios isn't imbalanced, it's just people doesn't play against him correctly" argument can also be said about Samira because there are many people that run into her Q, aa (Combo Builder) attempting to one shot her or shut her down with abilities
The only thing that comes to mind is hard CC, something that she won't see coming like Lissandra ulti or Malzahars. Her barrier skill can negate even auto attacks but from all directions which is stupid.
@@chaptermastermoloc4171 She has a very mediocre laning phase. Coordinate with your jungler or counter pick into something with strong early trading or poke. She falls off without a snowball, so shutting down her pre 6 is how you deal with her. Can't talk about preseason though, haven't played against her with new items so rn I have no clue tbh.
That argument can go to darius too. No one will ever engage on a darius who has his passive fully stacked but having that in mind doesnt make him less op. He’s been the best soloq toplaner for pretty much the entirety of 2020. Samira is just as broken and has been one of the top adcs in the game since her release
It feels like Lillia is completely forgotten about when people talk about all new champs being busted. The video does an amazing on the absurdity that was Aphelios but we at least need a Lillia mention as a new champ that wasn't able to immediately 1 shot penta kill with a single ability.
Only OG players will know how powerful Kassadin was during S3 and early S4 even named him "Kassawin" that is why it reached 95% of ban rate. IMO Aphelios is nowhere near Kassadin during its prime but it just took 1 year to fix him. Just sharing guys no hate, peace .
Kassawin was definitely worse, it was essentially Dota 2's Storm Spirit being in early League, long before it became "League of Mobility". The inherent concept of the champion completely broke the game.
The scene is so empty right now, they don't have anything to make video about, so after some clickbait and streamer videos about basically nothing, they return to the old stuff it seems like.
The cause of Aphelios not being nerfed or fixed in any way. It's because he is a very complicated champion to use and understand, also he is very banned in high elo like platinum 1 and above. And on low rating or on servers where the gameplay is not that competitive. It is preferred to use champions that are easier to use, for example. Vayne.
As a casual player with friends, Aphelios is my fav adc. The other team has no idea what I do (not that I do either) and they just get so confused. He's hilarious to play just for the confusion factor, once you get the hang of each weapon.
i remember when he just got released, the good ol days.......i used to solo teams and stuff, got pentas like they were nothing, and most people found him difficult because he has 5 weapons and each with their own uses, and its really just auto-attack and your q but you gotta know how to use the weapons and what weapons are good for certain situations

Your most likely to introduce "power creep" with every subsequent hero release.
there is power creep and then there is purposefully trying to sell a busted champ so riot makes a quick buck and then nerfing into unplayability once the money has been made. its not something new
@@generalians its a bit of both, and the biggest issue here is that they purposefully release OP champions because otherwise they would release with a 41% or less wr in soloQ, at the same time, once time passes by, this extremely complex champions dont really succeed in SoloQ and only some of them succeed in proplay, this is because doing anything complex in soloQ tends to backfire a lot, thus why champions like Janna, Alistar, Syndra, Jax, Amumu have always have good or decent winrates through 10 seasons of LoL, they are simple, easy to execute, of course you will find your batch of onetricks that have thrown countless hours into learning 1 champ and will clap anyone who steps in front of them, but sometimes u cant 1v9.
@@nutsostoik6231 because atk spd increases jhins AD
Hot fixes were always a thing but these days atleast every second champ is just a block of text which needs a PhD to understand
one new champion ability description is longer than entire nasus kit description lmao

@@martinkodet6429 he might be able to do multiple things, but not at once

He isnt complicated to understand or play. Only having the right guns for teamfights. He was hard to balance bc he has a lot of different numbers on each q and ult, and as the video said pros picked melee teams vs him.
"Every champion is Unique" , but yo Aphelios is the uniqueness of 'Unique'
I personally adore Aphelios. His uniqueness is what makes it so interesting to play this character, and I think that most of his power goes from people that don't even bother to read what this champion does and how to play against him
That hairline also giving me 200 Years of Terror

He now needs actual skill and knowledge to be useful and it feels so rewarding to be one of a few who actually plays him. Also i love that still the most people doesnt know what He does, wich is another factor to me, why hes so fun.
Love people pinging questionmark when u pull of some tripple gun combos and they doesnt know how they died 😆
For a person who just started playing league, watching pro matches looks like that thing that happens when you rub your eyes too hard
One one hand we have chad designs like aphelios. On the other hand, we have seraphine
I laughed at "one-shot entire teams". I never thought they would release a champion like that.
Well now you have gwens w, viegos passive and akshans revive. Happy?
@@alex2005z I think there is still room for improvement overall, but yes, those are much better than a lot of what we've been seeing. Gwen's W doesn't strike me as incredibly unique, but good enough I suppose. Viego's passive is not wildly different from Sylas, but again, no complaints here. Akshan's revive is cool, although it kinda feels like a tacked on afterthought.
Not perfect, but ABSOLUTELY a step in the right direction in my view.
@@TheRealFoop viegos passive was a good idea but its more of an ult reset than anything
I think thats the main foundation of how LoL champs are designed.Less strategic, more action, its hugely opposite of dota logic on designing new hero

_Samira adc raping the enemy jungler, mid, toplaner 1v3 in the background_
Immortal shieldbow samira flashing into 3 people and facetanking their damage while doing 2k damage with her r and healing back to full
A year of everyone realizing ADC Is a role

"sniper-rifle that let's him marknthe enemy and shoot them from ANYWHERE ON THE MAP ..."
Riot: "I don't see any problem here."
And now him and Jinx are the only adcs everyone plays
And a few months ago riot released a roadmap, that they want to put out 6 champions per year. Every single year, 6 new Champions. Meanwhile the massive item changes of the current preseason will probably create a broken mess which will take at least 6-12 months to fix, and another year to actually be fun to play. They should really look towards slowing down the expansion of this game, and instead focus on creating a fun and balanced experience, while slowly shifting resources to other games. Season 10 was really fun to play. I truly don't understand why they are doing this.
also there are so many champs that are unplayable because there are so many better options.
@@Anh2k5719 Except with their community they are losing more. S8 Was the best season. Now I'm just debating on quitting just from this pre-season
I hear ya, but new content is what brings in the revenue. The game has so many paychecks to write now, they literally can't afford to slow down.
But still in high elo people demolish with her.
So, shes fun and all, but you either ontrick her or just dont play her. There's no in between.

Aphelios: The most unique champ built in years.
Mobile Legends: CaN i CoPy tHiS?
Found it 😂
And now cut to season 14, where Aphelios has a 47% winrate in soloq because Riot needs to keep him "weak" for the general players so he doesnt fuck up the competitive.
@@data1509 Try this build: Tiamat, Runaan, AtkSpeed Boots, 2 crit itens and one Lifesteal item. Basically you can go from 100hp to Max life + Max Shield by pressing R with Red gun. The "Aphelios isn't imbalanced, it's just people doesn't play against him correctly" argument can also be said about Samira
because there are many people that run into her Q, aa (Combo Builder) attempting to one shot her or shut her down with abilities
So how do you deal with Samira?
The only thing that comes to mind is hard CC, something that she won't see coming like Lissandra ulti or Malzahars. Her barrier skill can negate even auto attacks but from all directions which is stupid.
@@Baykko Yea although her character design reference to Devil May Cry is sick, her overall influence in the game is yikes :/

“APHELIOS, HOW MANY YEARS?”
This cracks me every time
4:07 Aphelios was so strong, he could kill baron twice.
It feels like Lillia is completely forgotten about when people talk about all new champs being busted.
The video does an amazing on the absurdity that was Aphelios but we at least need a Lillia mention as a new champ that wasn't able to immediately 1 shot penta kill with a single ability.
Lilia and Yone were fine champs yeah, but Samira ruined it again sadly
Only OG players will know how powerful Kassadin was during S3 and early S4 even named him "Kassawin" that is why it reached 95% of ban rate. IMO Aphelios is nowhere near Kassadin during its prime but it just took 1 year to fix him. Just sharing guys no hate, peace .
How powerful kassawin was?
@@adamahmad1883 he had 95% ban rate and 2-3% pick rate
Kassawin was definitely worse, it was essentially Dota 2's Storm Spirit being in early League, long before it became "League of Mobility". The inherent concept of the champion completely broke the game.
theScore esports with Internet Explorer vids.

Vayne.
imagine that aphelios is in the same game as aurelion
This is why aphelios is 200yrs
His passive has 200+ words
As a casual player with friends, Aphelios is my fav adc. The other team has no idea what I do (not that I do either) and they just get so confused. He's hilarious to play just for the confusion factor, once you get the hang of each weapon.
Guinsoo want char like he made before in dota “carl” but he missed to “balance in all thing”
Laughs in Invoker
i remember when he just got released, the good ol days.......i used to solo teams and stuff, got pentas like they were nothing, and most people found him difficult because he has 5 weapons and each with their own uses, and its really just auto-attack and your q but you gotta know how to use the weapons and what weapons are good for certain situations
Now Akshan is here
Oh beatrix.....nvm
Modern Riot’s two design modes: “Paid Rework” or “Complete Gameruining Failure”.
"they can't design the same characters forever"
Samira , a hybrid of kata xin hao...
Lillia , a hybrid of neeko hecriam darius ...
Seraphine , a literal ctrl c ctrl v of sona
I think riot should just stop adding new champs cuz clearly they cant make new , fresh ones
And if they do we end up with zoe and aphelious...
Idk how people still say Seraphine is the same as Sona. Yeah their abilities might look similar on paper, their play style is actually drastically different
Seraphine is just sona but requires just a little bit of extra thought to optimize her
But her kit is still extremely similar to sona
They could have just reworked sona
Aphelios : one button = penta kill
Riot : lets buff death dance and make him more broken
