Listening to your body is something us runners struggle to do 😂😂

you might have a look at the shoes, you ran in this session. Retiring or at least taking them out of the rotation could be an option.
Checking out your shoe rotation in general and improve it might also be a good idea

Hopefully it is as simple as a shoe fix. The one's that I used for the session shouldn't be the issue (they're new, 50-60k, and they're the same model I've had previously) but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on.

@@runningwithaj we never know how big or small our shoe choices are, when it comes to injuries. I can only tell how i choose my shoe rotaion.
rule number 1: Never ever run in the same shoes on two succesive runs
rule number 2 keep shoes as different as possible in the rotaion....different in drop, stack, brand, cushioning....4 are better than 3 , 7 are better than 4
rule number 3 in case of any pain during or after a run, take the shoes tempoarily out of the rotation until you are compltely running painfree again. If the same kind of pain at some time repeats after running in the same shoes, throw the shoes into the bin

@justanoldfashionedrunner605 I really like point number 3. I often look to other avenues and don’t consider the shoes. Consider the magic speeds out of rotation for a while!

@@runningwithaj i own a pair of magic speed 1, and i really like them, BUT even if it is only something like a 2/3 plate in the shoes, i apply for them rule 4, which only is relevant for plated shoes: At a maximum i run only s total twice per month with the total of my plated shoes.( last year it was way less)
I know i am a minority runner, getting called quite often either crazy or stuck in the last century, but i know almost no runner with a you tube channel, who has not missed runs because of niggles or injuriey. I rotate permanently and with joy since the late 70th and have not missed a single run because of a running injury since 1975. ( I had undiagnosed knee pain in 1986, but i decided to run through the pain for more than 3 months before the pain dissappeared during the goal marathon somewhere in the first half)
....and i am not just running once or twice a week, i normally run twice a day since my retirement with a total of over 5000 k per year. So staying healthy at age 69, while running a lot needs a healthy lifestyle and smart decisions in all categories
