dude I am 28, still skating. I remember when mike mo first came out with his forecast part. no one new who he was around my small town. I told everyone of the skaters in my community but they didn't even think about him. now 12 years later this dude is a huge name. he is very very unique. If a miracle happens I end up become part the industry at such an older age i would love hang with mike mo. real shit.

I was there for the target plaza golf cart incident. Not in the cart, i was sleeping in my car in the parking lot all hammered and was awoke by the ambulance lights pulling into camp, didnt know it was Mike till the morning when he wasn't up on the hill with us bullshitting after breakfast. What a weird crazy summer.

I'm only half an hour into the video and I gotta chime in and say Mike Mo is the raddest dude! His outlook about such a horrific accident and his depression associated with not skating afterwards is inspiring. To still be positive and dedicate yourself so much to getting back healthy is a journey. Stoked on this episode!

Ugh. I feel your pain Mike... I've had a very similar injury to my radial and median nerves. (see Saturday Night Palsy for ref.) A compression injury to the nerves in my left arm and wrist(radial and carpal tunnel nerve impingement) left my entire palm and digits completely numb with total wrist drop (no strength whatsoever) for over a year. The worst part about it is i'm a guitatist (among other things). I play very technical neo-classical shred/speed metal, and this injury left me unable to even fret a chord. Was super depressing, and I didnt even want to touch the guitar until I was fully healed because the glaring loss of my ability was to much to stomach. This was over 6 years ago, and now luckiky all nerve function has returned and I have about 98% of strength and dexterity back but it took a very long time. Once the motion and radial motor neurons started returning it took about 6 months of physical therapy to rebuild the atrophied muscle. All together it was about two years. Nerve damage sucks.

That leg story was so gnarly. Gave me flashbacks to when I broke my leg. Definitely didn't handle it as well as Mike Mo, my pain was an instant 10 there was no way in hell I was even touching that thing. I was also a kid..but damn Mike is the man.

i do. i recently just got back into skating like 6 months ago and discovered the 9club like 5 months ago. started watching by just cherry picking through and watching eps with skaters i loved as a kid and then skaters I've heard of, that was a bunch. after that i realize every episode is worth watching, so now after i caught up on all the eps, ill go back and watch some of my favorites. ishod episode is so funny to me, lance mountain , i watched twice, and a hand full of others. and i guess I'm here again...
