ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Best described as a tingling sensation in the scalp, which permeates throughout the spine and back, ASMR is a pleasurable, if not euphoric, sensation. ASMR is an uncontrollable, visceral reaction. The same way one might get shivers at the sound of nails on a chalkboard, those with ASMR get tingles at the sounds of Whispering, Tapping Sounds, Crinkling Sounds, Personal Attention, and watching someone focus on a task. Its because everyone thinks bass/lower tones are better, but for realistic sound with speech the high tones are better and clearer. Phone mics are geared for that. Independent microphones you set the level and for some reason they push the bass up

I always come back to this video. It's one of my favorites, and I'm not quite sure why lol
I never noticed I unsubscribed by mistake. He was one of the first ASMR artists on RUclips for me. His voice has to be the tenderest of all males in ASMR. It's actually very uncommon in men. I'm wondering what's up with his life now. He hasn't posted in four years.☹️
@@charliedays i read a comment somewhere that he is currently married, and working as a family and marriage therapist. he quit youtube to pursue school, which makes sense since he often mentioned in his videos that it is hard for him to maintain a regular video uploading schedule and studying.

I havent watched this video in a while but I realized a lot of the books on my TBR comes from this video! I read Lolita and Mara and Dann on whispertalks' recommendation and loved both of them! He also gave me the courage to read the dauntingly long Don Quixote. The Mark Twain book is still on my TBR list so looking forward to reading that soon!

This is great! I would love it if you made more book-oriented vids. Seeing your taste in literature is so interesting. Also, if you’re looking for some contemporary literature that you actually connect with, I highly recommend Nathan Hill’s The Nix, Amor Towles’s Rules of Civility, and Ken Folett’s The Pillars of the Earth. They definitely have that lyrical sort of flow to them that you were describing. Keep up the good work!

Bravo on this video Diego! This now ties with Amalzd's "Home Decor Consultant" as my favorite ASMR video and I didn't think anyone could top that one... I will watch this bookstore one often now that I have discovered you.
