This was the very 1st ASMR video I ever watched. I couldn't sleep one night-- i was so restless, so i searched "woman talking" thinking it'd lull me to sleep. WELL..... It worked like a charm and I would watch this ever single night for weeks--- then it opened the door to the ASMR world and I've never looked back. 😍💤😴
I remember watching Bob Ross videos every night to sleep a few years ago and finding out about asmr from there. I no longer watch asmr often but when I do I usually come back to my favorites from that time, like this one and Latte's korean lessons.
It breaks my heart that when Maria goes to read comments on her videos for encouragement, support, feedback, or even just to connect with her viewers, she has to read the crap that hateful people decide to post. I can't comprehend what terrible thing she might've done to some of these people that they would take time out of their day to be so cruel towards such a kind-hearted woman. I know not everyone posts comments on every video they watch, but I think those of us that are decent human beings should make an effort to post positive, encouraging comments on every video we watch. Watching this video, I suddenly realized why during some lessons in high school I would feel too relaxed and absent-minded to do anything. The teacher was giving me ASMR! No wonder I kept falling asleep in the same teacher's classes.

i like it when i dont go to sleep with the videos, because although i feel relaxed from the asmr i dont fall asleep while its still happening, if i am falling asleep then that means the effect is wearing off, and i dont want that to happen during the video.
Please consider doing a lesson on Russian geography. It would be quite soothing with the maps, papery sounds and tapping places in the map as well as some nice sounds/letters from the names of places
This is still the best ASMR video of all time. I am listening to this while I work on a case and I am like a walking tingle machine. You should consider doing a throwback video using these sorts of settings again. It really picks up the high end of the sound. Thanks for all your hard work!

Maria, I want to say thank you for all of your wonderfully relaxing videos. Your videos have actually helped me through one of the hardest times of my life. My fiancé passed away in January from cancer and for a few months I had the worst trouble sleeping from the pain of the loss I experienced. I was already subscribed to your channel but one night I turned a video of yours on before going to sleep. I found your speech soothing and calming to the point that not only was I able to fall asleep, but stay asleep. I’ve been finding more peace each day and again I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your work has had a tremendous impact on my healing.

I love the finger lick paper stuff. There are lots of them on RUclips but hardly any of them show the actual lick like Maria does on this. It turns my brain to custard.

I so miss her older videos…natural speed and volume for talking, and the video is just naturally relaxing. The new videos seem to be trying too hard to be ASMR and end up falling a bit short. She was the Queen of ASMR when her videos were like this.

Hi Maria! Because of you- I learned the Russian alphabet (this was 4 years ago) and I still remember it and use it as I can. I was at the dentist last week and my hygienist was Russian. I took your advice and I said kak dyela and she was SO pleasantly surprised! She was really excited to hear that I had learned the alphabet. The white noise in this video is heavenly.
Many music programs let you remove most white noise, although in my experience is muffles the sound quality a bit in the process

I love the finger lick paper stuff. There are lots of them on RUclips but hardly any of them show the actual lick like Maria does on this. It turns my brain to custard.

I so miss her older videos…natural speed and volume for talking, and the video is just naturally relaxing. The new videos seem to be trying too hard to be ASMR and end up falling a bit short. She was the Queen of ASMR when her videos were like this.

This is the video that introduced me to ASMR. A couple of years ago, I looked up 'relaxing voice' and this video came up. I initially thought it was a real Russian lesson, some sort of online course. I appreciated it for the relaxing quality but didn't think too much of it, until I found myself searching for it the next day again because it was sooo relaxing. Anyways, I looked into your channel afterwards and found the world of ASMR. Thank you for being the gateway into this majestic world of tingles and relaxation, and helping me discover that this thing I was experiencing is very real and a lot more common than I thought. Hi Maria! Because of you- I learned the Russian alphabet (this was 4 years ago) and I still remember it and use it as I can. I was at the dentist last week and my hygienist was Russian. I took your advice and I said kak dyela and she was SO pleasantly surprised! She was really excited to hear that I had learned the alphabet.
