@@danielfloresretamal2471 yeah true, for example with sun/son both words are pronounced the same but both have différent definitions, or with all the différent words we have to describe à large body of water, lake, ocean, sea, river etc.
@@danielfloresretamal2471I can assure you that English is one of the easiest languages to learn, (this is coming from an Italian speaker) you just have to watch some native english speakers’ videos about anything and that’s it. At least for me- I could say I learnt English in less then a year and only thanks to RUclipsrs other than actual English lessons.
If you are a person who actually wants to learn Korean, let me teach you some things. -For example, you can’t just write ㅏ. Like she said, it must begin with a consonant. Which is why we have ㅇ, which is a fake consonant. It has no sound at all. So because of the grammar rules, it would be 어 instead ofㅓbut still sound exactly the same. -Instead of SVO, (subject, verb, object) for sentence structure, for example: ‘Alice cooked chicken’. In Korean, it is SOV, (subject, object, verb). So instead it would be Alice chicken cooked. That may sound completely stupid, but it is true. Last but not least, certain words have special endings. For example, -AH 아 & -YAH 야. They involve endings for names. -Ah, is used to end names that have a consonant for the last letter. -Yah, is used for names with a vowel as the last letter. That is everything I will be sharing today. I may reply for grammatical facts for the Korean language & Hangul/Hangeul!

Learning a whole different language to understand and communicate with koreans or your idols isn't disrespectful it's actually pretty respectful. Just think about someone is devoting time and (sometimes) money just to speak with you... Just wanted to put that out there, pls don't attack me
Especially when koreans and idols take time to learn English so why not learn Korean. Korean is very easy so if you stay motivated you will achieve your goal of learning korean.
Wow! I had no idea that the Korean alphabet would be such a manageable size! I just assumed it was too hard to learn. Thank you for teaching this. I feel like you've opened up a whole new world for me.
I think in terms of how easy they are to learn, I feel like its Korean, then Jaoanese(they use more Chinese Kanji but you could get by with just their alphabet as a lot of kids stuff has the reading on top) and then Chinese...impossible.
@@nicolovespanda I havent but I cant think a language that has different meanings depending on intonation, and you have to memorize thousands of letters/symbols can be easier than Japanese(which I do speak) and Korean(which I understand how its written and seems easier than Chinese. Girl, same! I watched this video again a couple of weeks ago and learnt the whole Korean alphabet over night. Got so hyped I've decided to actually learn the language
@@ghost-ee5gm well, I watched the video a couple of times. Then I opened a second tab and searched for k-pop videos and tried to read the song titles in Korean, going back and forth on Latte's video to find each letter. There are about 4 or 5 consonants that I keep forgetting, though. Also, I've always been quick at learning languages, I guess that helped too
in some way yea, but (and i hate to sound like a pretentious know all) the Russian Г is derived from the capital Greek gamma "Γ" (lower case "γ" which originated latin "Y" or Greek i as some people call it). As for Korean i can't say much because i know next to nothing about Hangul, but my theory is that there might have been some Han Chinese characters that gave inspiration to it, and it might just be a coincidence. Again, sorry if i sounded like a pretentious bastard, but i just like like to share knowledge.
@@Ebr7262 ooh yes you're right, didn't notice that yet haha i'm actually learning russian, ivrit, japanese and korean, and japanese is the most confusing one when learning korean i'd say, so many letters look alike or pretty similar... buuut it's not that bad, you get used to it pretty fast oh and btw i think its funny that korean ㅁ (m) kinda looks like the final mem ם in ivrit, while also having the same sound but then again, korean ㅁ (m) also looks like japanese ロ (ro) which ALSO looks like the chinese character for mouth 口...

@@violetvandimelda868 It's tricky to answer, because learning "hangul" the Korean writing system is extremely straightforward and intuitive (since the writing system was developed by scholars, as shortly explained in this video). There's even a 5 minute youtube video that completely explains how to read hangul lol. But to actually learn the meaning, grammar, traditions and slangs, I would say it is very difficult for an English speaker (especially if you don't speak any other Asian language) because most of these things are very different from English. But don't be discouraged and just try learning something new! It could be fun and useful!
The beginning made me realize how cool it would be if you did a Korean History lesson ^.^ If you choose to do that one day, I look forward to listening!
Just_MagiKKal | Yes I am a fan of K-Pop and Anime. I have a huge passion for both. However that’s not the reason I’m learning the two languages. I have family who moved to Korea and I’ve always been interested in the Japanese culture. And not just the pop culture.
Well I’d just pop up and say that if any is interested in any Chinese videos I know that TingTing asmr done a Chinese video. I’m not sure if she done any other one on other languages.
If your base language is English, then good luck. Japanese is probably one of the hardest languages for Native English Speakers to learn. At least the Korean writing makes a ton more sense, but I believe their sentence structure is the same as Japanese, which would make it a pain to learn as well. Anyone wanting to learn both those must be crazy.

The round character is like a placeholder, kind of like zero in numbers. If it is placed before a letter it means nothing, like 0.1 is 1. If it is used after a vowel, it makes a sound, like zero makes 1 into 10. Hope this helps
PenguinKun tbh it might be for someone who is used to a different alphabet but otherwise it's probably the easiest language existing Also same that dude is cool

Wow! I had no idea that the Korean alphabet would be such a manageable size! I just assumed it was too hard to learn. Thank you for teaching this. I feel like you've opened up a whole new world for me.

letter g in Russian : [ Г ]
letter g in Korean : [ ㄱ ]
they're so alike, they're the opposite of each other 😂
in some way yea, but (and i hate to sound like a pretentious know all) the Russian Г is derived from the capital Greek gamma "Γ" (lower case "γ" which originated latin "Y" or Greek i as some people call it).
As for Korean i can't say much because i know next to nothing about Hangul, but my theory is that there might have been some Han Chinese characters that gave inspiration to it, and it might just be a coincidence.

Is Korean easy to learn for someone that’s English
@@violetvandimelda868 It's tricky to answer, because learning "hangul" the Korean writing system is extremely straightforward and intuitive (since the writing system was developed by scholars, as shortly explained in this video). There's even a 5 minute youtube video that completely explains how to read hangul lol. But to actually learn the meaning, grammar, traditions and slangs, I would say it is very difficult for an English speaker (especially if you don't speak any other Asian language) because most of these things are very different from English. But don't be discouraged and just try learning something new! It could be fun and useful!
Xavier Professor Just learning the words are easy for me I just need pronunciation but once I memorize the writing it’ll be easier
