I think people need to understand that Louisville finished last season on an awful 4-5 game stretch losing 3 of them.. it’s sad but people need to understand that our year last year was inflated because of a weak schedule.. we need to reign in the expectations on Brohm for now.

Bro what are you even saying? You sound like a UK fan. We beat top 10 ND by double digits, shutout a ranked Duke team 23-0(Riley Leonard played the entire game), beat NC State on the road(they finished ranked), went on the road and beat a good Miami team, absolutely dominated VT 34-3(VT is currently ranked #27)
It’s been addressed several times our secondary didn’t game plan well for the last 2 games. Not 4-5. Louisville’s defense was amazing against FSU, we couldn’t score because Jamari, Jawhar, and multiple starters on the OLine were out. On top of that you have Jack Plummer going up against one of the best defenses in the country, it was nearly impossible to get that win with the roster they had.
And the coaching staff has said multiple times they’ve made changes to the defensive scheme so what happened against UK & USC doesn’t happen again.

First off diehard Louisville fan here.. those are all good points and hopefully what the coaching staff has said bout defensive scheme adjustments actually comes to fruition.. my point was pre season rankings aren’t gonna look at the first 6 games of the season they are gonna look at the last 4.. and when you have USC FSU UK outcomes we shouldn’t feel disrespected by being left out of the top 25

Great points . However the team/record was not inflated . Of course there were a few scheme issues and depth problems down the stretch . But we can’t forget that this coaching staff (Brohm and company) are great at what they do . Hopefully they have addressed the issues that caused problems down the stretch last season . We also have to remember that preseason rankings mean nothing . Every year there are teams in the preseason top 10 that don’t finish in the top 25, and there are teams outside the top 25 that make great runs to either make the CFP or fall just short . Let’s just trust our coaching staff and support the team and see what happens this year . Either way this year will be lots of fun .

We have a tougher schedule for sure but I still see us getting 9 wins or at least I did until our top receiver got hurt😢😢

It's not where you start, but where you finish

I don't but it's still fun to see and talk about anyway. I'm cool with it. They're really 25th honestly. I don't take any August ranking serious if I see Miami in it. Like they're under contract with the AP Poll or something, Idk.

That’s good in a way It doesn’t give the team the big head

Our Defense alone should have made the top 25 but whatever
    IT DOES NOT MATTER
we have all season to get in the top 12

If we win our first 2gms convincingly well be ranked by time we play Tech i bet. We're prolly like 27-32.
I guarantee a couple teams lose the first couple weeks and we'll be gud
