One way to get 5 stars is tell them you’re going to OSU or Alabama. Literally all they go off of.

So basically, stars are about some people who look at kids and say he's big enough for college ball and he'll be big enough for the NFL give him some stars. If he's good in high school he'll get more stars. If he dominates he's 5 🌟

True it kinda also explains some NFL stars not being big of our high school which I don’t understand how

My son is at least a 3 star players in my opinion but his school doesn’t have a winning program in a state flooded with players like Georgia and my son loves his school and he is loyal to his teammates that he grew up with and didn’t want to transfer to a dominant school

So you just wait for 247Sports to find you (out of more than a million kids playing in the US)? Your staff is not nearly big enough to handle that undertaking 247Sports

Why are some states not as scouted as much?

    • @deront2083

cost and lack of year round training. In the southern states, the kids can train outside 365 days a year. In Northern states, they cannot.

@jamard39701 so in February, in New York can those kids train outside or would they need to be able to purchase a gym membership so they don't freeze? What about Chicago or Michigan?

Sign the waiting list and attend the schools that has a great track record of excelling and producing 5 star athletes. If you’re accepted and your parent’s income qualifies, put in the work. The players and coaches before your time have already paved the way putting that school on the map. Attend every camp there is to attend for more exposure as well. Hopefully you’ve been dominant since a kid. My Final answer.

But none of these would "fall in place" if ur an international recruit. In that case what do i do.

This is not 100% accurate. I know a kid who Rivals gave 3 ⭐️ s to and he has never played a meaningful minute in a varsity game. At a high school who hasn’t made the playoffs in a decade. And those stars were as a 5’ 11 QB at best.

Because rivals is the worst rating of the popular ones and least reliable. 247 and espn much better

Why ranking all the way to the NFL? How can you know a high school player will or will not be good in the NFL? That should be done junior year in college.

They emphasized that it’s all a projection; an estimation of future success based on several factors. Obviously every player doesn’t reach their potential

There’s a kid who goes to K-Park high school in Houston named Hagen Smith he’s a d Tackle... only a sophomore I believe and somebody better go give that kid some stars, at least 4 of em... sad tho the kid wants only to go to Liberty university... kid is simply a unit

Why is it sad to go to Liberty. They are on the rise! Sending kids to the NFL yearly!

This is why stars are just opinions. Many great players don’t have 5 stars and pan out better no way to project that based on these criteria they use some pan out many don’t ed reed was a 2 star let that sit right there
