I feel so bad for White Sox fans. Jerry Reinsdick is self-perpetuating their downward spiral into oblivion!!!! It’s really sad, too. White Sox are an old legacy team. Shame!!!

You would think for someone who's owned a team since 1981, they would know something about baseball but he's so damn insular he has no idea what's going on in the baseball world. Chris Getz is an awful candidate for GM. He's getting praised for being a great eye for talent but he can't put together a farm system that's worth a damn.

Tony LaRussa is the Jim Jones of baseball--even down to the sunglasses--and Jerry Reinsdorf is always first in line at the refreshments table.
Regardless of who is hired as GM, they deserve to be able to hire their own head coach and I think Grifol should be a 1 and done.

Unfortunately, Grifol has two years remaining on his contract. I seriously doubt that Reinsdorf will terminate if he still must pay him.

I wish AJ would be given the chance to manage a White Sox team in the future. I’m only a “currently ex-Sox fan” and I’d run thru a brick wall for that man! AJ is probably the smartest player in White Sox history and he should be involved with a team no doubt!

Wait. Did Chris Gaetz encourage Rick Hahn/Kenny Williams to hire Pedro Grifol? 😂 This has all of the intrigue of a Shakespeare drama.
From what a lot of people said, Kenny Williams was basically still running the team, and Chris Getz actually had more influence than even Williams did because Getz is a Reinsdorf butt-kisser crony. Hahn was basically just there to take that flak and pacify the fans for a while as a ruse.
I'm a long time WS fan and have said AJ should be manager when he retires. It's time.
Until Jerry decides to sell the team, if he does, then you will have real change, thank God, I have 2005 at least.

Not fit nothing. I'm a Cubs fan. But live in Bridgeport. Go to a few Six games. So my thoughts. They talent should have been there. The dedication, hard work, leadership was not. Jimenez, Robert, Lynn, Andrew, Moncada, Kopech, Hendricks, Giolito, Anderson. This team should have performed. But didn't.
A lot of it falls on Grifol. Granted, he’s certainly not the main problem, but he’s a big problem. The guy is soft as pudding and in WAY over his head. He’s just not a head coach and that’s VERY apparent. I’m a Cubs fan and he reminds me of a lot of Dale Sveum. Sveum wasn’t soft but he was absolutely clueless and didn’t know how to handle the media or relate to players at all.

Yep, no question they will hire from within (AKA Getz - cheapest option) and will bring on a guy who ran the one organization in the division that is arguably LESS successful. Kansas City. Might was well. Already got a coach from that dumpster fire of an organization. This team is not going anywhere until Jerry sells it. This "change" will result in absolutely nothing improving. We're just getting Kenny and Rick Jr. Enjoy the next 6 years of another rebuild.
