Let's preserve soulful music. Analog speaks to your soul. Digital by passes it.

That statement that the sample rate of 44.1 kHz equals an "a minor scale" was a good laugh! What is this? Hipsters rediscovering tape and making a hole voodoo shit out of it? Yeah nonlinearities in recording equipment can sound nice, but that´s it. You wont be more interesting as a artist only because you use freaking tape or a 610 bill Putnam console! Get over it! Yeah doing intakes is a good thing, it actually needs the artist to be skilled. And yes playing real instruments and together to get the groove right is also best practice, but that´s nothing new to an educated sound engineer. But the thing that popular rap music is bad shape and totally lacking spirituality is a true thing. I´ll give him that one.

“That’s nothing new to an educated sound engineer” lol the arrogance. Maybe this video isn’t for you, mr. educated sound engineer. This video is for the people who are interested in this recording process but don’t have the means to explore. Everyone is the video is extremely talented, you’re their son, show some respect.
