I grew up on the sounds of The Delfonics. I also grew up on the sounds of The Almighty Wu-Tang Clan. So when Adrian Younge produced the last Ghostface Killer record I couldn't get enough. "Enemies All Around Me" had me hooked from the start. I never thought I would ever hear the legendary voice of William Hart on a new song. The last time was on GFK album "After The Smoke Is Clear". Thank you to all that were involved in this new project. I can guarantee the world is not ready for this!
I first heard this album on NPR. At first, the stripped down sound kind of threw me, but of course, this is William Hart of the Delphonics, so I listened again and again and again and realized what a gorgeous record it is! Hart is a melodic genius, and one of the best Soul singers ever! Great Pop music! How can I buy a copy? Somebody help me please! Gotta Have It!
I want to buy this but I can't stand coloured vinyl. It degrades the sound which is the whole point of vinyl these days ffs! Is it possible to get this on regular black vinyl?
I wouldn't trip too hard. The loss in quality is negligible. IAccording to discogs, there hasn't been a copy pressed on black wax yet, but maybe they'll hook a run up for the second pressing. Thanks for stopping by!
Marty Spitfly "Minimal" is too much for me. I don't like vinyl for any romantic reasons. Its all about the sound for me. Making fancy colours defeats the whole object for me.
I love this song but I really like it with the video.💕💕💕💕💕
