What i love about this scene is that it intially looks like its going to be the usual "Evil businessman closes door to hide the scare tactic he'll use to get the politician to agree". You might even think he'll call in Black Noir to be said scare.
Only for it to not be the case and for Stan to actually agree and address the issue.
Just such a great subversion that adds to the characters

I love how self aware Stan is. Of course a man such as himself wouldn't tolerate the Supes' antics forever. V-24 would indeed solve all of Vought's problems and boost up their profits, while at the same time eliminating the need for heroes. "When everyone's a super...none is:" If only Vought had been a little bit faster, and Stan had acted a little bit earlier, maybe Homelander wouldn't have managed to succeed in taking over.

tbh 10 supes could do the job of over 1000 soldiers depending on their abilitys which would be easy to find out

Problem is the powers are random. So, imagine 10 super soldiers get the power of Love Sausage. That means the army just burned 20 million for a single day.

@@khanhlam882 Assuming they don't iron out the issues in the final product it's true that would be the problem. Ideally they can either tell what powers a soldier would get, not kill them after multiple uses or has a more standardized power set.
That said the other side of the coin is they get 10 homelander levels for a day and would that be worth 20 million.

Temp-V - by far the most nauseating part of the series.
"Hey, what if we take the series all about a crew of ordinary people finding creative and innovative solutions to take on supes, and we just give them superpowers?" Someone in that writers' room got a prefrontal lobotomy.

In fairness the comics had The Boys use proper Compound V to take down lesser supes, and it’s not like Temp V didn’t have lasting consequences, as well as showcasing the hypocrisy of using it in general.

Yes, because “super drug gives people super powers” is a _totally_ original idea. By that same logic, All-Star Superman ripped off Captain America.
But what am I saying, trying to talk logic to a mouth-breathing basement dweller with a tenuous grasp of the english language.
