That's definitely one thing I miss about growing up on the farm, lived blowing and piling up snow to make sled hills and king of the hill forts. Don't miss feeding the milk cows and calves in the winter

Your new used tractor is a nice one. It’s horsepower really makes that snow blower work extremely well. You were really throwing that snow around. Tear window heater is handy. Everyone is different on blowers. I like a front mounted blower more than a rear one to avoid turning around. But I also realize it takes a different hookup devices on a front mounted. Not all tractors are rigged that way. Oh well.
You and Eric are getting another tractor all cleaned up. A lot of mud from that one again. Looking nice now. Good job guys.

The shots of snow blowing were awesome!
The very first thing I noticed was the rear window de-fogger wires. and the rear wiper arm, two of the very best things ever invented. Unfortunately the heater will not melt off the wiper blade when it gets really iced up, but if you leave it on from the start, you will only be wiping away water and you should be okay. My Dad had bought a much smaller snow blower for our farm. It was really great because our driveway would drift up if we used the blade to push the snow aside. Since we were back in the "old days " we did not have a tractor with a nice enclosed cab. We did have what was called a Heat Houser, a frame with a canvas wrapper that covered the sides of the engine and then became a three sided compartment around the seat. There was no back door...Unfortunately, that did not fit the larger tractor, with the needed horsepower so we always made sure to check the wind direction. If you didn't you became a lovely snow covered person. I am disappointed, the Big Swede did not get Big Bob stuck...
Take the top link apart and clean and oil it up. You'll thank yourself for taking the time to do it
You should consider rain water catchment. As big as your building and the size of it's roof all your washing needs would be easily taken care of.

It's better if you have a tractor where you can turn the seat 180° and use the smaller steering wheel in the back.
Agreed - wouldn't be my first choice - but easy for the PTO shtuff
In here you actually have pull-type blowers that we use. They have a v-shaped scraper that pretty handily defeats the disadvantage of running over the snow before blowing it and as it's not leading the cab, you don't get snow on your windows.

I think the Fendt seats spin around for running rear attachment
Looks like the terragator has a C9 for an engine. These are notorious for heui pump and injector failures. The heui pump will fail and put metal through the injectors and slowly ruin all the injectors. You can pull the top cover on the heui pump the solenoid in the top is magnetic if the pump is failed there will be metal shavings stuck to the solenoid. Another tip is run 5w-40 in that engine not 15w-40 it will start so much better especially in the cold weather.
Just put a string on the windshield wiper and pull it from inside. Or in the good old days they had handles on the inside to move them back and forth.

We use a cheat by using a 540 to 1000 adapter on our old Allied snowblower. It does mean rebuilding the gearbox every few years though. But we just have an old Case 1070 so it kind of needs that to help it along. To have a heated cab though... That's pretty nice; and a defroster and wiper. Now that's fancy stuff!
I've never seen snow like that. Ive seen the little bits we get in in some very small area's of Australia so wow. How annoying to have to reverse a tractor to plough and clean up driveways and areas just so you can get around. Great video. I love seeing how different the other side of the world is.
Sunroof is also for Ventilation if the AC takes a dump. Which Happens. The doots don't have Roll down windows. And the back window not much draft.

Chet, I think Grandpa would appreciate front end linkage on the new tractor. It would make his job of snow blowing a lot more easier. Just thinking!
john deere is not lke a case you let the knob all the way up in 1 or 2 and only use the black roulette too go faster or slower iit will be a much smoother ride XD
You got to get some meatier tiers on that 7330 and maybe some rear wheel weights to keep it grounded while using the loader. Cause those bicycle tiers are making it looking wimpy. And we know by now that you guy's tend to go Full send more often than not. And Dougo might not get stuck as easily wit it.
They are row crop tires. They are fine.
Chet, look into heated windshield whipers. You will get them and wonder why you didn't have them on the tractors, trucks, loaders from day one. And you get more snow then we do. Love them
Chet buy the extra plates for the magnetic phone mounts. They are 3m tape and metal. Would be handy to stick a few in the tractors and you could use your magnetic go pro mounts with them.
Larson Farms have nicest and newest Farm equipment and they keep there farm equipment nice and clean to compare some other farmers . seem like most Farmers keep there Farm equipment outside all year instead building a big storage garage just saying

Our terragator ALWAYS started hard. They have to crank until they build enough fuel pressure and then the computer will let the engine start. At least that's what we were told. Also running the glow plugs/intake manifold heater twice seemed to help. Good luck once its out in the cold!

Chet, See if you can't get a Snow Wiper Blade for that tractor rear window, they make them for areas like Canada & Alaska and the snow can not build up in the wiper. May have to see about getting this from a NAPA Store, I'm a former Parts manager that worked in Alaska for 5 years & then 16 years in Miami, Fl. I will try and see about getting you a part number for that wiper. Mark Thomas

I been plowing snow for over 20 years up here in Montreal canada and the places you are using the snowblower must take you hours to clean. Would be better off with a snow plow on one of your tractors where you can tilt it side to side. So much faster and use the blower in smaller tight areas. Just my opinion
