Have a Johnny Weismuller pool, basically earlier version of Esther Williams. It's oval and very similar. I used the seams to measure if I had the liner centered to the middle slat at the ends. This worked after once having it misaligned by 4 inches and redoing it. I don't think foam coves were available when this pool was sold. They did sand. And no, the vacuum doesn't work. If the liner does slip out in a place, heat up the liner a bit and it will relax enough to put it back in place otherwise it's a bear. Pool is in good shape.

Great work. Very conscientious to bring sand and water

We are too far for service, but trying to figure the best place to order the liner?

Armor shield is great and we used a foam cove to install the liner. Our Ester Williams pool is 35 years old and still in great shape.

I also was going to get a similar liner and Esther Williams beaded pool liner oval but I also was told an overlap would work and is essentially cheaper so I'm going to go that route because obviously right now the overlap would cost me about $200 less and the beaded liners are sold out everywhere pretty much that are affordable so

Were you able to use the overlap liner instead?

Will the universal liners won't work for these pools?

I have an Esther Williams 15x24x52-in pool it's disassembled right now cuz I have to get my tree stumps removed however I plan to get it hopefully done within the next couple weeks or month at the most. How much sand do I need for a pool like that and what kind of sand is the best and what would be the you know relatively lowest cost. If anybody knows please let me know I'm new to all this but I'm willing to learn little by little

Is there in anyway your team could come and install a liner on a similar pool?

I have a question--bought a used Esther Williams pool, but it was taken down when I bought it.... and they had no idea it was an EW pool. only way I found out is b/c of the bead receivers... I was short 5 so I had to find new ones.. they had a different wall too, not the panel/carousol type. they said they never had the interlocking walls. my concern is--when I put the liner in and filled with water--the liner pulled down in one area--any idea why? do I need the interlocking walls not the steel wall?

When filling a beaded liner it’s best to fill it slowly and check the bead stays in the track as your filling. We put the first 2-3” in the wall the perimeter of the pool pushing the liner into the track to make sure it stays in. It can shift while filling and can pop out. If you keep an eye on it while it fills slowly then it shouldn’t pop. Liner lock also helps hold the liner into the bead receiver.

I noticed that you installed the liner without having to take the top rail off .

This was a beaded liner, there is a bead receiver track around the top perimeter of the pool. Beaded liners do not require any require taking any tracking off.
