@@edwardjski thank you, we employed many script writers to assist in the task. some of them drank large volumes of water during the process but they all came through with the script. after trying to make it work we ended up making paper aeroplanes out of it and just asked our aunty to add their words over the video

And from the paper aeroplane story, I have a feeling I've worked with some of them.
Thx for the tutorial. If I may: in case you would like to add some lettering and logos to look like a genuine out of the factory bicycle, you can buy all kind of stickers (more or less genuine) or make your own, but what is important to know is to stick them on the dry-hard paint job, and to clear-coat on TOP of them. That way, the stickers are protected and won’t peel off ! Thin stickers are better than heavy thick ones for that purpose. Enjoy !

You could just sand down the original coating and use normal primer and paint if you wanted the job done quicker , it ll work even with powdercoat.
Sure you can sand down the old paint but if it has lots of chips you would see these under the new coat of paint. yes powder coat is a great option but some may not be able to afford that cost or some would prefer a custom colour, which is what we did in this video.
Hi, you're so funny and I liked this tutorial! I need help right now, I painted my bike light pink and when I painted clear coat, it darkened a bit. I am aware that it's supposed to darken, so I bought more clear coat to even it out. However, when I sprayed more clear coat to the light pink areas, it won't even out anymore. What do you think is the solution for this? I hope you reply, thanks!
Yeah sorry to hear that happened. it might have had something to do with the clear coat it self. that batch of paint might have been defective or has something in it the other can did not. A solution wold be to sand it back to the pink paint and then give it a another coat of pink. Then try to clear coat again. Be sure you get the same clear coat batch numbers. Spray something with the pink for a test then clear coat it to see if it changes.

its a graffiti style of paint brought from a graf supply store to help get the colour we wanted

Does the type of paint differ for a mountain bike?
as we all know mountain bikes are just as rad as every bike. and have two wheels means freedom and the ability to get rad. hope you get on your bike and roll into freedom. as for the paint, nope its all the same and will work on any bike. get some cans and make the magic happen. hope your new paint job is rad
adding a initial rust protective layer never hurts.

What ya mean, we made it super fancy. We spend all our lunch money on getting Sam to video it. Also them sound affects aren't cheep. But our uncle new a guy who knew a guy that had some left over from a Hollywood movie.

Hey; that’s the same color I painted my helmet. I also did the multi coatings with several super hard clear coats. I don’t like my helmet dinged up.

Should you put on two coats of clear coat and wet sand in between like you did with the paint?
Yes two coats of clear. Only sand between the clear coasts if you get any paint runs or inconsistent coverage

Does anybody know if it’s ok if I just use Krylon Paint + Primer? Do I need to use Primer, Paint, and then Clear Coat?
the Krylon paint will be fine, you will need to use a primer. A clear coat will just protect the paint for longer

The sound effects were highly developed using a series if voices fed through a vocal defibrillator then bypassed through a voice exchange program before finally geting burnt on to a disc. This disc was then dragged being a slow moving drag car untill the desired effect was achieved.

Paint stripper will not burn through your skin it just feels like a severe sunburn.
I've been using it for the last 32 years.
Don't you use paint that you have to heat to cure. Like powder coat type of products just so it don't scratch. I want to restore a bike back to original. I even went out and got a Electronic chrome plater for all the chrome part's.
Just don't put paint stripper in your eyes of on your teeth

How much time it will take to apply next coat. It would be ok to apply clear coat after dry the color coat.
Thank you for your comment, the next coat should not take long to apply. A quick sand down and apply the colour. Maybe at the most 20 minutes. Yes apply the clear coat after the colour coat has dried, but be sure to only give the slightest sand down with the wet sand worn out sandpaper. You dont want to sand off the colour but you need to give the colour coat some grip for the clear coat to hold onto. Good luck

When I came to spray the clear coat on the finish coat, after coming back later to check the paint it’s self has sagged. Any reasons why? I have left paint on over 24hrs. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it??

you must have sprayed on to much clear. always go with small amounts and build up the coat, not just one big coat. the best options you have is to wait for the clear to harden(a few days) and then sand back the saggs, be sure not to go to much or you will sand the colour off. and then re do a coat of clear.
What about if it has rust in somepart of the bike, can the paint stripper take it off
if it is surface rust then sanding should remove this. most bmx frames dont get large flaking rust like other metal structures, so sanding should remove the surface rust. once done be sure to give it a coat of the etch primer
