Online launching and naming of NaabsaMAX tanker

Thun Tankers together with Geos Group, Shipyard Ferus Smit and MF Shipping Group have the pleasure of inviting you to follow the virtual naming and launching ceremony of our first NaabsaMAX online.
The physical launching will take place in Leer, Germany but can be followed here online on Monday 31st of August at 14.00 CET. Please join us to see a spectacular venue!
We are building two 4,250-deadweight product tankers together with Scheepswerf Ferus Smit B.V. in the Netherlands, with whom we have a longstanding relationship. The tankers will have a unique “NAABSA” design, “Not Always Afloat But Safely Aground”, being able to call tidal restricted niche ports with maximum cargo intake. The vessel launched August 31st will be delivered in October 2020 and the second one in May 2022, both will enter into a long-term agreement with UK based Geos Group Ltd.
