Welcome to Erik Thun Group on RUclips!
We are a sustainable Swedish partner over generations and shipping has been the main business of the Erik Thun Group since 1938. We hold a strong market position in northern Europe, where we own and operate around 40 vessels. These are mainly conventional coastal dry cargo vessels, self unloading vessels, product tankers and cement carriers, but we are also involved in a few other business areas.

Launching of dry cargo vessel Lidan June 2024
On Friday June 28th, the very first of our new dry cargo vessels, the next-generation Lake Vanern Max, was launched at Scheepswerf Ferus Smit BV in Westerbroek, Netherlands. The vessel was named Lidan, and the naming ceremony was performed by Godmother Benita Skisser accompanied by representatives from the yard, MF Shipping Group and Erik Thun Group.
Miss Benita Skisser is the partner of one of our masters, Oscar Lancing who is a captain in the second generation of officers from the same family sailing on our vessels.
