Thanks for being the number one source for the NX 350h real-world review! So you say that the HUD isn't worth it? I didn't end up getting those. Can you do a demo of the headlight at night? NOT a single video shows the bi-LED lights at night, every video just show the fancy Tri-Beam LEDs. If you post a video of the Bi-LED bulbs (the ones you have) - you're a real champ!
Thank you that really means a lot to me as for someone who just started RUclips for fun. To me HUD isn't worth the extra $1,100. But it might be worth it to other people. It's a cool feature but I'd much rather have that $1,100 lol. Definitely I'll make a night time video with the lights and a night drive!

I think it's a great practical car, I love it. Only downside is how pricey it can be. Honestly I probably wouldn't have gotten this car if it wasn't for the current car market. This was my first new car. I usually buy used cars at such great deals from private sellers

i really would like to see this "charge,eco,power" Hybrid gauge in the HUD too because i drive often exactly just on top of the eco before the engine kicks in and safe a lot of fuel. But looking always down is a hard task :-) In the HUD it would be perfect !
Did you do an actual factory order, and if so, did you negotiate the price , put a deposit, and get a signed buyers order? Which Lexus dealer? Was it at or above msrp?

I own the 2022 450h+ F sport..In Atomic Silver Glows in the Sun Light with Lil" grey metal flake" and same Circut Red interior.. but with Electric battery...Has 306 Horse power 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (Via Road and track at drag strip!.) This model DOES- NOT have a TURBO...But rather Naturally aspirated / Carb...........important because it is well known that TURBOS stress engines...simply see euro cars shop time!....this car combines the Elec Batt and engine to achieve HIGH torq, And VERY quick out of the hole...Jus' blew the doors off a 735i beemer...albeit for nly a block ...V* would have caught up in the end (in all fairness......However who cares the thrill is initial take off and tickets are for high speed & Kill's! My car has Red Calipers against Powder coated Gloss spoke Black mags and All red "F" Sport Badges........ It is FAR better built (mine in Japan) sadly the own if you can get them??? are Mfg in Canada!.....Lexus is Far more reliable...Far better Re-Sale that Euro beemers or mercedes.......indeed mine is going up in price IF YOU CAN FIND ONE ANYWHERE......"econ 101".....Has (3) elec. motors gett'n 0 to 60 in 5.6 sec (road and track) HIGH torque QUICK out of Hole!......Never do I use gas gett'n 42 miles per 120 Volt charge and NEVER USE GAS....and almost Silent operation in elec....So do your research......as this is Far better than any European beemer or mercedes depreciating un reliable offering to say nothing of the GAS HOG unproven G 70, & RDX not worth mentioning. As long as you didn't use 93 octane for a long period of time (over 6 months) and how often you drive, it should be fine to put in 87 without any negative effects. 93 octane - More power and engine efficiency (long term) 87 octane - cheaper, still gets the job done. (less power)

Thanks for the review. Did you factory order it or did they find one that was coming? Reason I ask is because you said that you had to take things you didn't want. Did the hud come as part of the premium package? I want the luxry package and it happens to be included. If it weren't for that, I would not pay for that. It wouldn't be that important to me . If it were $150, then I would take it, but not a penny more. The ML, however is a must for me. I currently have a 2019gs350 fsport with the ML and absolutely love it. I heard the standard stereo and it wasn't enough for me. I can see how it might be enough for some. I happen to be into refined recordings and sound equipment. I have amazon HD and I download HI Res tracks to my phone.. Also listen to cds. If you are listening to the radio, reg or poor quality streaming, then yes, stay with the reg basic stereo as just getting the ML and feed it sub par stuff doesn't cut it. It would be like having 480 hp and doing 20mph on dirt road.

I did not factory order it, I actually went to the dealership to get a quote to sell my other car and it came at the same time and we ended up buying it that same day at MSRP with $1000 military discount. The HUD came as an extra add on same for the 20" wheels. Congrats on your order and yes 100% agree if you listen to higher quality streaming services or HD audio you might want the levinsons audio system.
@@GaryHwang Wow, you lucked out. I did not order it as of yet. They have me waiting to accept my order. What most dealers want you to do is take whatever is out there instead of factory ordering. When you factory order, you could get exactly what you want without adding stuff that is meaningless to you. And what I mean by that is not even the hud, but things that they add from the dealership like window tint, paint protection, edging, etc. That could add 2k or more to the price.
Hey, Gary, thanks for the two videos on the NX350h! Ours is on order here in Taiwan, and the wait is until Oct/Nov 2022 ... at which time, Lexus may end up just delivering us the 2023 instead. A few questions for ya: - What accessories and add-ons did you buy after you got the car? Or what would you recommend someone consider? - Where's a good spot to mount a smartphone if you needed it visible all the time (like Uber/Lyft drivers do)? - If you have a cargo mat/carpet in the trunk, does it work will with that folding cargo floor? - How easy/hard is it to clean that Nulux seat material? (We have young kids ...) Thanks!
Wow that's a long wait. - No add-ons or accessories (I did buy emergency equipment to store under the trunk I made a video on that in my channel) - Honestly a good spot for smart phone would be the windshield holders or the A/C vent holders - I don't have a cargo mat so I couldn't tell ya but even without it it's good, unless you carry a lot of dirty stuff lol - It's very easy to clean so far but we haven't had any huge messes or stains. Hope tihs helps!

I just ordered a nx350h fsport today. Delivery ETA 15 months. And that’s cause I told them I didn’t have a colour preference. Initially I asked for graphite black which would have been 24 months wait
I guess your OTD price was around $53K? I think that is a bit much for a compact crossover. I know it is a different CUV, but I managed to purchase the 2020 RDX ASPEC AWD new Summer of 2020 for $41k and some change OTD. I will wait this year out before maybe getting the NX350h, for better mpg. RDX is kicking my behind as a gas guzzler!
And this is why I don’t understand why people want to compare the RDX to the NX hybrid. Yes you can compare it to the regular 350 but to me it’s apples and oranges with the hybrid
Hey Matthew, I mean that's personal preference for everyone. Me personally I like the Orange, Atomic silver, Black, & White. Black looks good only when it's super clean which it's hard to keep clean. I like White cause it still has a clean look and it's looks clean even when it's dirty.
Not sure about dynamic cruise control but I used the regular cruise with lane assist and took my hands off to test it. It actually keeps the car within the lane but a loud beep noise happens to put yournhands on the steering wheel
For the 2022 NX 87 Octane is okay for the engine, It will NOT create engine knocking according to the owner's manual. They only recommend the 91 Octane for performance, but it is not required. So yes you can use 87 octane.
Gary please help me! I have a 350h, followed your video for the carstream app to watch RUclips videos on Android auto, and I cannot change the car volume in Android auto. It doesn't matter whether the media playing is from carstream or from my phone music player, if I try to adjust the volume using the steering wheel or volume knob below the screen, a popup on the top of the screen says "Audio paused. Volume will not be adjusted. " changing the volume on my phone also does not adjust the volume. I'm also having frequent Bluetooth connection problems when I don't want to use android auto. Any suggestions?!
Yes for some reason you cant change the volume on RUclips. So what you can do is go to your spotify app or any music app you have and you can change the volume on there! Then you can switch back to RUclips and the volume will be adjusted. Hope this helps
@Gary Hwang thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, I cannot adjust the car volume in android auto with any media player, including Spotify. If I try to adjust the volume from my phone, the car volume still remains constant. I've made sure Android auto is up to date. So frustrating! I think there is a problem with my vehicle's hardware because I am also experiencing frequent Bluetooth connection problems.
I was cross shopping between this and the base version of RX450H. My wife likes the RX better, more room and quieter, but less MPG. We didn’t buy because of the market situation and we are not in a hurry, could wait a couple more years since her 09 RXis still running fine. I have never paid MSRP and not going to unless I am desperate in need for a car.

I honestly like it. It's based on opinion same for exterior. Of course there are things they definitely could've done better but overall its a huge upgrade from the previous NX
I know it doesn't have much power like other vehicles such as the Macan but you will save way more gas. I hear gas will be as high as $9.00 thanks to the new idiot in office.

Haha because 450h too expensive and not worth it IMO. And the full electric battery can only go only 30 miles before it uses engine.

Suspension and steering is great 100%, comfortable. Yes there is a glare on the screen at certain angles when the sun is gleaming on it

As a son of a very experienced auto mechanic if you put 87 in a brand new car you will get decreased power and mileage which is why 91 is worth it.

I have the 350h which doesn't require charging. It automatically charges with the engine, braking system and wheel cruising.

My OTD price was under $50k I didn't pay any taxes because I traded in my GTR for this

I mean that's personal preference for everyone.
Me personally I like the Orange, Atomic silver, Black, & White.
Black looks good only when it's super clean which it's hard to keep clean.
I like White cause it still has a clean look and it's looks clean even when it's dirty.

Hey Gary nice Vid. Have you tried the dynamic cruise control with lane keep assist? If so, how do you like it?
Not sure about dynamic cruise control but I used the regular cruise with lane assist and took my hands off to test it. It actually keeps the car within the lane but a loud beep noise happens to put yournhands on the steering wheel

So regular gas 87 is ok too? I thought someone from lexus garage told me that it will create engine knocking for a longer term.
For the 2022 NX 87 Octane is okay for the engine, It will NOT create engine knocking according to the owner's manual. They only recommend the 91 Octane for performance, but it is not required. So yes you can use 87 octane.

Gary please help me! I have a 350h, followed your video for the carstream app to watch RUclips videos on Android auto, and I cannot change the car volume in Android auto. It doesn't matter whether the media playing is from carstream or from my phone music player, if I try to adjust the volume using the steering wheel or volume knob below the screen, a popup on the top of the screen says "Audio paused. Volume will not be adjusted. " changing the volume on my phone also does not adjust the volume. I'm also having frequent Bluetooth connection problems when I don't want to use android auto. Any suggestions?!
Yes for some reason you cant change the volume on RUclips. So what you can do is go to your spotify app or any music app you have and you can change the volume on there! Then you can switch back to RUclips and the volume will be adjusted. Hope this helps
@Gary Hwang thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, I cannot adjust the car volume in android auto with any media player, including Spotify. If I try to adjust the volume from my phone, the car volume still remains constant. I've made sure Android auto is up to date. So frustrating! I think there is a problem with my vehicle's hardware because I am also experiencing frequent Bluetooth connection problems.

I was cross shopping between this and the base version of RX450H. My wife likes the RX better, more room and quieter, but less MPG. We didn’t buy because of the market situation and we are not in a hurry, could wait a couple more years since her 09 RXis still running fine. I have never paid MSRP and not going to unless I am desperate in need for a car.
For 50k probably buy used 2020-2021 RX 350 for 40k and call it a day. The gas savings is not worth it.
It depends on what your needs are. I actually enjoy this car and the RX is much larger than what we need.

Just dont like the look and feel of the interior. It looks dated and toyota like.
I honestly like it. It's based on opinion same for exterior. Of course there are things they definitely could've done better but overall its a huge upgrade from the previous NX
