As an Acura RDX advanced owner, I think the two tone paint scheme is off putting. It makes a beautifully designed vehicle look like a taxicab or a poorly executed clown car.
I think it’s just the hood and gas cap that ruins the two tone 🤷♂️ I feel like it would look pretty sharp otherwise

Hate that black gas cap!! What the hell was Acura Thinking?? You're right, look like a two tone taxicab of yesteryear. I have a 22 MDX and still don't like the Touchpad!! It seems it is a 50-50 issue reading many YT posts across the InterWeb. Acura would be very Wise to have BOTH....a Touchpad AND a Touch Screen. That would be a big winner. I do like the looks of the RDX, its handling & road manners (I drove one during my test drive of the 22 MDX), responsive peppy engine and a nice comfortable interior.
The key problem with Acura's TTIP - Touch Pad is when it is used in AA or car Play connections. It's Downright AWEFUL. Like a very Slow Mouse pad forcing me to take my eyes off the road far more than other cars. When other people (my wife,or my son) take my 22 MDX for drive, They absoulutely Hate it bc of the TTIP. Too mkuch of a learning Curve.
The touchpad was outdated when I purchased my 2021 RDX. It’s cumbersome, but workable since I rarely if ever use it when driving. Most often used features can be controlled at the steering wheel or by audible commands.
I just bought a 2024 Aspec Advance in a beautiful blue color. Absolutely love it so far!
I’ve been driving corvettes for the last 8 yrs. We traded our 2019 z51 stingray for a new 2024 rdx aspeck. Was not happy giving up 460 hp sport car for a 272hp suv but it was time I’m 78 and not in good health. I have to say I was impressed with the performance of this rdx. Drives great considering its weight and overall height. The 4banger turbo induced suv performs much better than I anticipated it would. Granted it’s not my old vette, but for the class it’s in I was very impressed.
Previous owner of a 2020 Aspec and now a 2024 Aspec Adv, the GoodYear RS-A tires have to go. Dismal in wet and light snow.
It’s hard to imagine the RDX whiz bang styling will age very well. To my eye it is pretty garish and I can’t imagine living with it for years to come.
I have one for a loaner and really like. Not as claustrophobic as a Macan but just as fun to drive on the road at normal speeds.
Just purchased, love it.
Why don't Acura make a Rdx type s ?
I am loving the blacked out look on the top. I wish Acura had that as an option like it is for the Range Rover.
Just picked up a new 23 RDX Aspec FWD last weekend. I believe it’s the best overall driving experience with all the key features compared to German makes.
Mpg is terrible on Rdx
I love mine. Best depends on what you’re wanting. Are their more luxurious SUVs out there, of course. But if you want something nicer that won’t break the bank in either the purchase or parts/ service and is dependable then this is a great pick.
The window sticker said that was 2023 model year not 2024. Misleading title.
I got the aspec advance without that crazy expensive wrap that was added for 1K less than what this was listed for
I really can't stand all the gloss black parts on the outside. The wheels should be gloss black also to match the rest. Overall, not a vehicle that I would pick.
The infotainment touch pad is not that bad. What I find worse is that the rear camera screen is larger on my 2012 Rdx. What is the point of the right side mini screen? It doesn’t even hold your preferred screen setting. Rear camera has two modes: full left screen or split left screen. Why not have that top down view in the right side? Or why not just eliminate the right side screen and make the rear view bigger so you can actually see behind you?
My wife’s 2019 Acura RDX Just had the electronic brake booster fail. Luckily, my wife was able to pull over and get the car stopped without getting in an accident. Dior has the car right now for the last 2 1/2 weeks Charging is 2450 to fix it just out of warranty.. I think will be selling this car and getting a real SUV BMW
Whatever anyone thinks of the gear shifter vs buttons, the fact is that shifters are a thing of the past, so now when new cars have them they look dated. Shifters actually used to move something mechanical in the transmission, but now it’s all done electronically, so it’s just a giant lever doing what a small button can do.
Bought my wife the Aspec Advance...most excellent. Zero complaints.

What is with people parking like assholes over several parking spots? I mean, I get it, it's unoccupied dealer parking lot where you are not bothering anyone and shooting a video for business, but come on, really? Why not park like a normal person? Is this a RUclips thing?
Maybe just maybe it makes them stick out like a sore thumb while they are filming so nobody goes near a brand new car and damages it? It’s not being an asshole when it’s not your property and you don’t want to damage an expensive car
