How can one encompass so much talent on drums? Energy but doesnt miss a beat. Creativity but still follows the vibe of the song, fun but still makes sure you know...He came to rock. Great video. Thanks for posting
@@timothy99626 do you mean heavier washier cymbals or bigger lighter cymbals cuase heavier ones crack easier becuase of the weight they apply then again he is using ks so they will be lighter
I swear someone backstage told the drummer to drink more than one energy drink and that was what he came out with, smashing the god damn drums! Freaking sick as! Love it!! 🤘🤘
And people were arguing that Senses Fail's newest drummer hits the hardest (on this year's tour). I'd say that goes to Conner, or the cat from Unearth.
BurnThePope If they built a 30 pound snare, I’m sure they ( Gretsch drums ) didn’t get cheap on building weak rims for people like Connor to hit them. I hit my snare pretty hard too and have had the same snare for almost 10 years and not one single warp.
Someone doesn't know the purpose of microphones. Someone also doesn't know that getting into a song doesn't require breaking sticks, cracking cymbals, denting heads, and draining energy. Someone also doesn't know that playing this hard in the performance gives the sound guy a heartburn, because they didn't play this hard during sound check.
Well considering I am a sound check operator I can safely say it sounds perfectly fine and you’re not supposed to play as hard as you can during soundcheck because it’s more to fine tune. After the first song or so and adjusting your levels on the sound board it’s perfectly fine to hit as hard as you can. Denting symbols is the least of their worries

Prescott Shirley I mean he was taught by Aaron from Underoath
More importantly, he practiced a lot on his own and developed his own style. I like his control over Aaron’s by a long shot.
it's so satisfying to watch him play
The wing nut on the top of that ride cymbal gives me anxiety lol
So explosive on the kit, love how hard he hits without ever skipping a beat. What a monster
808breakdowns you should see Alex Rodriguez from saosin
Hi hat! are you ready? 3:11
Man, Connor is such an animal!
Jayjay_ 2xs he’s absolutely perfect for beartooth’s style. Who do you think would do better?
1:58 - 2:00 is just one gem of a fill. Connor is an amazing musician.
I love seeing how much Connor has progressed with this band. He's really been comfortable incorporating himself in their songs now.
Watching Connor play is a show on itself !
was in the pit for this one, great show & solid drumming🤘
That ride sounds so amazing!!
sometimes he plays like his goal is to bankrupt zildjian
Broken zilds every after show hahahahah
Especially playing Ks! :D

Natthan Bagshaw He using a 24inch K light ride so pretty washy and thin has a lot of flex and wont break that fast from what i understand...
@@germauxnciv6488 it's just the way he hits them and his grip is that makes me cringe
dude quality footage!
That mute at 1:18 had me clenching mah heart
Solid performance and some great cheeky faces!
I love the snare sound
I swear someone backstage told the drummer to drink more than one energy drink and that was what he came out with, smashing the god damn drums! Freaking sick as! Love it!! 🤘🤘
he's a beast
0:12 WHOOOOOOOO
This is like watching a bear and a professional wrestler play drums. So good.
same!
Best one so far
It's no doubt Connor loves his job, I love his "animal" style teaching dat drum kit!
This guy ughh🥰🥰🥰
Feeling it
My drums were scared to death when they saw this video!
Very nice
I was at Tinley
And people were arguing that Senses Fail's newest drummer hits the hardest (on this year's tour). I'd say that goes to Conner, or the cat from Unearth.
Aaron Gillespie too ma man he is an extremely heavy hitter
Steve Carrey is a beast, you right
Also the drummers for Hail The Sun
Which energy drink did you had bro?😀
I live for the faces he makes while destroying that kit
Over/under how many light rides does this guy go through on a full warped run? Im thinking at least 3?
The guy has great technique don't think he needs more than his main one
yyyyiiieeewwww!!! beast!
0:09 Where the hell did that guy in the background go?
EDIT:I knew what he was doing I was just joking
Mr Cool lol
1:20
Mr Str I knew what’s he was doing
Was just joking
WOO
Aye I’m right behind him
Anyone else watching the thumb screws on top of that middle cymbal spinning every time he hit it? Haha go back and watch the video again!
Lol, the wing nut on the ride my friend. 😎
Dude!!! What fucking camera and lens did you use to shoot this?! Awesome footage!
I really wanna know how many sets he gets out of the heads
FTWworlddomination says in a rundown video he gets about 5 hrs of playtime from heads
but what happens if your in ears fall out halfway in the song?
Connor using brilliant cymbals? This is preposterous
Zach Willow Bay He said he wanted to switch his set up. Those A customs cut through the mix pretty damn well!
Bret Collins A customs > oxygen
Poor snare
Irahm Ayala It’s a 30 pound snare. It’ll be ok lol
Bret Collins What's the overall weight have to do with the rims though? That's the part that really takes a beating.

I'm more worried about that 24" crash ride 😳😏
@@silvabrite1828 No Crash ride... 24" k light ride.
It would be nice if you got some pedal footage, kinda mixed it up a little.
I'm sure that would be nice if I had the time lol
If you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life
and if you are recognized by a guy like caleb
Caleb "the Circlepit"
He likes old stuff more)
That guy most go through snare skins like a teenage boy goes through a box of tissues
And somehow Caleb doesn’t let this beast play on the records. Big mistake.
Aaron gellispie is the beast :)
Comments really talking about how he hits drums the hardest? You kidding me? Stage presence is about all that's going on here
He looks like a grow toddler
flintstones is rocking the bedrock
Dear metal drummers,
You don’t need to play harder to be louder. This is why you’re mic’d.
Sincerely,
Reason, sense, and logic
Joe Lackey someone doesn't know what it's like to get into a song lmao
Energy, power and passion sound much better in this context, IMHO.
Power = full tone of the sound's source.

He's not a drummer.drummers have own style.still a Aaron wannabe.
Aaron trained him you dumb idiot
Robbie is thy dumb dumb ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
