- This is the inspirational life story of Rob Brooks @SoCaLove. Born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD), he didn't allow this condition to stop him from pursuing his dreams. From basketball star to professional RUclips streamer, this is his story.

✦Rob is from Seal Beach, California. He was born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD) - a rare birth defect resulting in one leg shorter than the other - and has a prosthetic leg. Rob was a basketball star in his youth, catching the attention of national news outlets and well-known people in the industry. He graduated The University of Southern California (USC) in 2007 with a Sociology degree and was a College Basketball Coach for 10 years. Rob began his streaming career in 2019 and formed the group known as DK (Door Kickers). He currently lives in Clearwater, Florida with his fiancée @ceasey0 and four German Shepherd dogs. Rob is passionate about health and fitness and follows a rigorous routine of high intensity workouts, 20 hour daily fasts, and a high protein/low carb diet.

I honestly I was very moved I live with and struggle with rheumatoid arthritis. When I saw this show I was going through hell I wanted to give up the pain was too much. I haven't received any treatment for my rheumatoid arthritis until recently. For the first time in years my pain is at Bay and I have to start all over again to try to get back in shape. I'm in my 50s was athletic but there are days I feel like I can't do it because pain was a bit much, however your story has giving me hope. Hope that I can turn that drive back on get my life back in shape and press forward. Thank you for the hope I needed it

Inspiring man. I love hearing these stories. I was hospitalized for a few weeks when i was 3 for encephalitis that went to my brain. Lots of PT and speech therapy. I was like the 1% that recovered successfully from this virus. I showed horses and nationals and world's and ran college cc. U had a good career and its great to hear u doing so good. Congrats man.
