Fight to Survive - Journey of Hope: My Leukemia Story

In episode 3, I share one of the toughest moments of my battle with leukemia. My health took a terrifying turn for the worse, leaving me with severe mouth sores and a mysterious infection that nearly took my life. It was a time when I missed out on my daughter Felicity's birthday and even lost track of everyday moments due to the overwhelming pain and confusion.
A blunt but necessary wake-up call from a nurse forced me to dig deep and fight for my survival. I also talk about the emotional experience of losing my hair and the incredible support from my family, who shaved their heads alongside me. My wife Shannon's quick thinking eventually led to the discovery of the infection's source, giving me a chance to recover.
This journey has been incredibly challenging, but I'm still here, still fighting. Join me as I continue to navigate the ups and downs of living with leukemia.
