hey joshua, thanks so much! there was definitely a lot more vacancies than usual due to the lack of international students and covid situation. we would’ve liked to negotiate the rental price, but since we were paying for an airbnb at the time, we didnt want to jeopardise our chances of securing the apartment we settled on 😊
This process is so stressful, just arrived two weeks ago and i am already overwhelmed. what suburbs do you recommend out of melbourne (within melbourne as well) as i heard they are more affordbable (my uni is in berwick but only twice a month so travel is not an issue). my budget is pretty lol at 200 and 225 at most and will get higher once i start working
