One thing about Yannie : her naills stay done 😍❣
Always beautiful! Her hands are really beautiful!
Facts
And she has the prettiest hands 🤗🤗
I be looking at them too😂💖
#fact
For everybody that has a fuzzy hairline... Be thankful you have a hairline\edges...
She has a great hair line!
Thank you Yannie. SO many remain 'nap-phobic' even thru and within the lock community. Sigh.... can we even just embrace our hair without jells or so-called silky baby hair which is usually found 'naturally' on out babies.
I’m grateful for my fuzzy and disrespectful hairline. There’s not a gel that can hold it down and it’s survived years of *me* being the disrespectful one. Been using only oil and water for years and have been blessed 🙌🏾
I love my frizz.... watching yanni made me embrace all the frizz, thickness, and thick locs.
The truth!!
Yep frizz usually mean grown. Yes. Let us love it!
I love my frizz toooooooooo...... inspired by Yannie😍
Whew I definitely agree! I do not gel down my clients edges and I tell them that I don't lay edges. I was telling one of my client since locks have become a hair trend ppl do too much with something that should be low maintenance.
Where are you located and do you have an IG
I agree no gel i learned the hard way gel destroyed my hair if onlyi found this channel sooner i would have been able to save it i am natural for 4 years now since my big chop but i know what to do now and i think i will grow back my locs i am missing them too much not to grow it back❤💔🙏
Her hairline and her locs are luscious!!!!
So nice to see you back to yourself Yannie! And great job as always!
Yani,
So glad to see you and to hear you the strength in your voice.
Once I stopped using the gells as Yannnie advised, my hairline has filled in nice & fuzzy. My hair is healthy. Thank you Yannie.
I'm so glad I found you before I started my loc journey. I leave my hair ALONE and my hair locs are much longer and fuller then friends that started at the same time I did. I love my fuzzies.
My daughter could not phathom how anyone could go a month without washing their hair. She usually wash her sister locks bimonthly. After sharing one of your videos with her, it now gets washed only when she goes to her loctican.
I am also washing less frequently. Also retightening less frequently.
Thank you! You are a blessing! ☺
I want a disrespectful hairline. It use to be very nice and full on its own. Now I have to comb my hair forward every now and then to keep it full. Her eyes are beautiful.
SAME!
Her locs are gorgeous. Anyone with loc issues I refer them to your channel and/or give them advice that you give to your clients and viral stalkers such as myself. 😁 YOU ROCK YANNIE!!
She has beautiful locs. So thick and healthy 😍
Love the locs you're in
Thanks, Ysnnie. We are uniquely created - including our hair. Let’s embrace what we have and what we’ve been given.
Oh my! You are so right! Alot of Loctitions I have been to really try to even plait the small fuzzy hair on the hairline just to capture it in the twist/ crochet. I am so tired of always fighting with them to not touch my hairline
I love the sister’s beautiful hair line. I have been following Yannie for three years now, I have used all Yannie’s recommendations to care for my Locs. This video hit home for me because I started putting knots in the thinning end of my Locs instead of just letting them go. I had to laugh at myself when I got to the end of this video, “just let it go”, lol. Love you Yannie, keep up the excellent work and teachings.
I love that you have for your clients. You tackle subjects that Blacks find challenging like mental health. I love your show, sending love your way! Keep being a shining beacon in the Black community!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
So good to hear you laugh! You sound so strong!
Wow this came out PERFECTLY..She really has the perfect hairline im jealous lol..Your nails 💅 stay on point!!! 1of the reasons why I watch your videos you could be a nail model lol great work and glad that you're back at 100%
1st of all Yannie i have been watching you for years. I dont have any loc issues but i want you to bless my locs in my lifetime. Please! I am 2.5 years in and i started with comb coils on 5 years of natural hair. My hair was bra strap length when i started. Now my locs are past bra strap length on the way to waste length. I get my locs interlocked because i work out 5 days a week. I know you are not traveling but i want to know when you will be back in atlanta. I am so glad you are coming back to Atlanta. We love you Yannie and so glad that you are doing well.
This young lady’s locs are so disrespectful.
"slippin and sliding all over the place!" 😂 I just love your videos!
It's so good to see you back to yourself.
Since I started watching your videos I have gained a new respect for my disrespectful locs. Thank you !!! One of these days I’m going to get to you but I’m way down in 🇬🇩 so until that time I’ll continue to tune into your videos👍🏽😊
Yaani its good to hear from you you sound more better!!!
I am a loose natural and I envy such hair! Its healthy thats all that matters.
Love from 🇰🇪
Her hair is beautiful!!!!!!!
So glad you are back and feeling better. I hope you know you are blessing us virtually with your informational videos. I love that you focus on health vs being obsessed with style. I’ve learned a lot from you. Thank you Yannie.
I screamed when you snapped off her single bleached loc 😂, my whole head of locs are bleached platinum oh gosh , scaring my yonnie
I LOVE your blend of knowledge, humor and honesty. I wish you were in Phoenix or could refer someone. Glad you're doing well.
I've learned over the last maybe 4 years of my 13 year journey to really embrace my hairline. I used to be obsessed with "neatness". So glad my entire perspective has changed. Wish you would make a stop here in Memphis. Peace and Blessings.
I learn this while being natural with Afro . Mom used to say “how gonna be nappy with slick straight edges “😂 so I stopped doing that. Every now then I may do it but I got tired of being a slave the gel and the hair brush. And using the head band to do a slick puff. I started to get headaches. My hair started to break . Sometimes I may use a little oil and water. Then rub it back with my hands and keep moving.
Beautiful hair! Looks thick and healthy😀
Thank you for saying you don’t see anyone who isn’t loc’d for at least a year because I most definitely was going to call you, stalk you, and bother you for an appointment. (I’m only 2 months loc’d). I love watching your videos. I learn something new with each one. Thank you! I will be counting down the months though!!😊
hahah same eve though i'm only 7 weeks loc'd and not even living in the states rn, i was thinking about the summer though 😂
I'm not loc'd but I've been natural for a year now and at first I was putting gel on my baby hairs and taming me edges. I just recently learned to love the frizzy look. My hair does what it wants to and I appreciate it more for that. Refreshing seeing other natural channels on RUclips embracing the frizz.
Love you nail color Yannie. We can rock natural with a touch a 'bling'! Rock it woman!
Yes Yannie, you are responsible for me really loving my locs, and most importantly, being relaxed with the frizz!
The young lady definitely blessed with a beautiful 👑
Blessings Yannie!
Gorgeous Healthy Locs!
I'm a few days shy of 5 months into my microlocs journey and listening to your tips... Less is More! One of the reasons I knew my loctician was a match for me was when she shared her passion for healthy hair and how she appreciates/listens to your knowledge. TFS!💜
I’m no longer getting line-ups at barbershops . Embracing my hairline
With dreads gotta be careful with that hairline frfr, I wouldn't stop but maybe do it yourself and not make it as sharp just clean it up
Yes please leave your HAIRLINE alone
My hairline is very similar to this lady’s own. I needed this advice. Thank you Yannie
I’m so glad I came across your channel! I’m listening to every detail of your knowledge and advice. I’m thinning and hope to get restored strength in my hair. Thank you Yannie! Blessings to your gift!
her locs are gorgeous!! and your laugh is lovely yannie haha 🌻
Thank you as always to your clients..but to you Yanni for educating us on so many levels.
-Much respect & health
Love you Yannie! Please add to the after, a picture of your client standing so we can see the length of the locs, long or short. Thank you
Her hair line is like my daughter's. I love it! I'm praying to have a blessing of my crown when you come to GA. I'll have to fly in but I know it will be worth it!
Yannie thank you for your advice. Less is truly best. I followed your advice and my locs came back to life!!!!!
Beautiful hairline on a beautiful woman being treated by a beautiful salonist!🙌🏽
No dreads wearing natural hair and I have an extremely hairline at 60 years thanks for the confidence
So glad I found this channel almost two years ago! I love natural hair and cleaning videos and somehow got recommended your loc detox videos 😂 I saw the beauty in the loc journey and now I’m almost a year into my own 💜
Yannie is sooo cool!! Down to earth Lady 👍🏾
Thank you for addressing putting knots in locs. I was guilty. I popped them off during your video. 😊 I've been loc'ing for 20 years (with not one moment of regret). I love my locs! I contemplated cutting them to make them more even because some are waist length, but not all of them. Reality......I dont have THE COURAGE....smh.😊
Her hair is beautiful!
Yes!!! Leave the edges alone!!!!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏿your bettter I to was sick with thyroid but God has bless me back and going strong🤗, Thank you for this video my family is like the fizzy, but hers is done like you did (no cutting at all) this k you thank you
Beautiful healthy locs, simply gorgeous❤️
My hair line is like that to my eyebrows and I gave up 20 years trying to "fix" my edges/hairline. Lol! My mum had traction alopecia from the 70s so growing up on the 90s my sister and I didn't play with our hairline. I shampoo my scalp weekly. I have a sensitive scalp prone to soreness and itching. I usually use a treatment shampoo from my trichologists. I have loose natural hair instead of locs.
Your work is overly outstanding Yanni!
I Always Love your Videos.
You have helped me with my Loc Journey and My Clients.
I am 4 1/2 years in my Loc Journey.
I Love them. 💜💙
What a lovely lady. When i was. A little girl, my mom took me out to look closely at flowers in a garden. We even looked at petals with a microscope. The lesson? Each is just as beautiful as the other, and God made each different. Its a lesson i have never forgotten.
Loving the intro lol “LEAVE IT ALONE”😂😂😂😂😂
I hate when my loctician twist up the little edges I have left . They are already thin . Leave them alone ugh that’s why I’m doing my own hair .
My old loctician did the same. She would trim my hairline to cut the hairs that didn't merge with my locs. I thought it was necessary. Thanks for informing me otherwise.
Your nails are always on point 👌👌👌 do we ever get to see how you bless these crowns so perfect ☺️
❤😮 Wow...the client looks like an older version of my daughter! My daughters hairline is just like hers. Hairy and FULL! Her locs are wild and thick too! I wish my hair was like my daughters...she got her hair from her father. 😊
Big up, Simon and Garfunkel! 🙂
I was diagnosed with Graves disease 5 years ago. It's been a journey. Blessings to you on your journey
Hello Yanni!!!😄 I have been subscribed to your page for a couple of years now, and all I have to say is THANK YOU/THANK YOU/THANK YOU. Although I have been on my journey for 9 years, I too have been obsessed with neat edges. I started my loc journey wearing headwraps regularly, However, where I live, & in my line of work, headwraps are unacceptable. Dreadlocks are "tolerated" so long as they are "neatly kept". Your videos are the reason why I still have a full head of hair. 😆
Now I find ways to keep my hair covered. I use stretchy head bands, to protect my edges, ditched all the heavy products, tight styles, and relaxed on the washing (a little,😉) and going back to the basics. Water Castor oil, & most importantly, Leaving My Hair The He** Alone! 😂 I too want "Disrespectful" locs 😊😊😊 You Are Appreciated. Stay Blessed. ❤❤❤
Hey Yannie, I wanna reach out and say Thanks for saving my locs. They are not currently disrespectful 😍 but I'm in love with them again. They are really clean & I stopped over loc-ing them and allowed my locs to look disrespectful and embraced it 🥳🥳💫😎Thanks to you & your technique. Sending you Love from London UK 🇬🇧 ❤ ♥ 💙
I adore frizz it is apart of our unique crown. Beautiful queen. Yannie n Jimmy is out here spreading knowledge, love and sincerity 🖤 thank you so much 🥰

Yannie thank you so much for your insightful guidance on loc maintenance... Much appreciated
Thank you Yannie for sharing about the fuzzy hair lines. That's me all the way, it does not want to lay down. Because of you I have learn to love my fuzzy cruly fine hair. I have had to maintain my own Locs my self the whole time. And I have done well this whole time. 🙏💜🌳
I’m guilty for knotting my hair because i didn’t want to lose length. I will never knot my hair again. Thank you Yanni
I am in Canada 🇨🇦 and I watch you every chance I get, great information , and amazing video.
