I lived in SC for 24 years. Moved west to Maui. Still miss the waves at 204’s
I live in SC for about 40 years. I moved to TN 5 years ago. I really miss it. At least you are getting some windy surf.
Locals are insane in SC. Add in the groms and you're better off anywhere else.
On weekdays uppers is mellow as, also lots of empty local spots that aren’t on Surfline that make a fun break
I’m moving here from the north east
@Blake idk man I’m from Nyc, been here for 5 days and it feels like I made it to heaven. But I can see how the driving can get tiring after awhile
As long as you stay away from Lowers, the locals are friendly. Even at T-Street you can get a few waves

Way betta before they build all Dem houses up in the hills,talladega? Lol three hours to get friggin breakfast on a SAT now hahaCan't be the waves that alot of Us can no longer afford to live next to " There" Cheers
San Clemente is bad,, stay away, go somewhere else, do not stop here, keep going down to San Diego or up to LA, go home.
Nah the locals are so welcoming and the waves are good. Anyone who wants to be a surfer should definitely come check out San Clemente.
