    Great Gatsby is a great short read! Open throat sounds like nothing I’ve ever heard of before, tempted to add to my TBR list. One of my shortest reads was a chilling book I read for school a while back called The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell. I think it’s only 50pages!

    Into the Wild by John Krakauer can be finished in 7-8 hours and has made me very introspective in the past few weeks since reading it

    Hello again!
    I haven't read any of these 5 yet, but The Great Gatsby is on my TBR.
    I've just added “of cattle and men” and “heaven has no favorites” to that list. They both sounded really good, though I'll have to read the former in English in the hope of understanding it then.
    As for your question about what I'm going to read at the weekend... I hope something. Yesterday I finished Matthew Perry's autobiography and haven't been able to decide on a new book yet... I'll have to process that a bit first.
    I don't really have any short books. My shortest ones are all around 300, although you can easily finish them in a day or a weekend.

      @BookswithSam1  4 дня назад +1

      Welcome back, always great to see you here! Those two you added to TBR list are so so good, check them out for sure.
      I just finished a book here not 15 minutes ago and need to dwell on it as well. Picking the next book can be challenging at times, hoping something jumps off my shelf in due time here for the weekend.

      @@BookswithSam1 Sometimes a large selection is not always the best.
      I'm struggling with whether to try my hand at a science fiction novel (the current trend would be “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir) or whether to venture into the great Game of Thrones turmoil...

    • @BookswithSam1
      @BookswithSam1  4 дня назад +1

      @@CharlieCatHimself13 ooo thats a tough dilema, I would say go for the Game of Thrones now and then if you need a break from the action, but are still in the mood to read that type of genre, that is where project hail mary can be read.
      Now I remember you saying that you are not the biggest fan of audio books, but I hear that Project Hail Mary specifically is superb on audio, just throwing that out there if you wish to take in a novel through another means
