This is a very relevant question, Santam Tamrakar... And this comment of yours will be pinned so others who might have the same question will be able to see the response. Your "sleeve round" should be larger by around 1.3cm to 2.5cms (conversion: 1/2" to 1" ) than your "bodice armhole'... With this amount, you will have enough ease around the ball of the shoulders for movement. Do not go beyond 2.54cm or 1inch, as it would be difficult to attach it to the bodice unless your design calls for pleats on the sleeve. Take care, Santam Tamrakar, and enjoy creating.
Fantastic thank you! I have searched for so long to find a decent tutorial on basic pattern blocks. I’m a bit rusty and I have followed a lot of dud videos. This was exactly what I needed. Precise clear and actually fits as it should! Please don’t delete these I have a feeling I will be referring to your videos a lot! Thanks!!
Will this work on my torso block that has side dart instead of shoulder one? Or I have to do another bodice/torso block specifically with shoulder dart like you have? Tnx!
How much difference is okay.according to bodice armhole round and sleeve round
