- Night drive around Rome from the Colosseum to Vatican City. The Roman Empire, the Colosseum, the Pope, the Vatican, Gladiators, UEFA Euro 2020 champions :) etc. Everyone knows the culture and words associated with Rome! What a big impact Italy has had on the world. Lets just say this video is a little 'flashy'? I'm back home now. Video from last month. Back to Spain and another country or two coming soon! Rome is the capital city and a special comune of Italy (named Comune di Roma Capitale), as well as the capital of the Lazio region. The city has been a major human settlement for almost three millennia. With 2,860,009 residents in 1,285 km2 (496.1 sq mi), it is also the country's most populated comune. It is the third most populous city in the European Union by population within city limits. Rome's history spans 28 centuries. While Roman mythology dates the founding of Rome at around 753 BC, the site has been inhabited for much longer, making it one of the oldest continuously occupied cities in Europe. Rome is also called "Caput Mundi" (Capital of the World). Famous artists, painters, sculptors and architects made Rome the centre of their activity, creating masterpieces throughout the city. In 1871, Rome became the capital of the Kingdom of Italy, which, in 1946, became the Italian Republic.
In 2019, Rome was the 11th most visited city in the world with 10.1 million tourists, the third most visited in the European Union, and the most popular tourist destination in Italy. Its historic centre is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The host city for the 1960 Summer Olympics, Rome is also the seat of several specialised agencies of the United Nations, such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The city also hosts the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) as well as the headquarters of many international business companies such as Eni, Enel, TIM, Leonardo S.p.A., and national and international banks such as Unicredit and BNL. Rome's EUR business district is the home of many companies involved in the oil industry, the pharmaceutical industry, and financial services. The presence of renowned international brands in the city has made Rome an important centre of fashion and design, and the Cinecittà Studios have been the set of many Academy Award-winning movies.

stop overexaggerating, tokyo , seoul, amsterdam , dubai looks beautiful at night but definetly not this city. nope, this looks like a columbian city at night. no light at all
@@daballaskind Dubai? man if you prefer a city consisting of a highway in the desert, surrounded by luminescent and sad skyscrapers, with a glorious 30 year history I am no one to change your mind. but don't talk about cities you've only seen on RUclips.

@@thebabbler8867 Spain is in all ways worse than Italy. Spanish is just an awful italian dialect, Italy (and Greece), are the fathers of european civilisation, the food isnt good, and the weather is just too hot if I want a desert I´ll go to Egypt.

I'm proud to be Italian and Rome is a treasure, but it really seems like driving in a ghost town at night. I wish there was a little more light, just like in many other European cities... I think the Caput mundi deserves more attention than this.

Excellent way of showing all countries and i also started making these kind of videos 2 years before but it didn't click and I don't have enough money to travel all over the world. Quality is mind blowing, please tell me which camera you are using? and how do u mount the camera outside car?

Till now plus minus 2000 videos average video 40 minutes ,driving around 50 kilometers per hour is around 35 kilometers every video so : 2000×35 = 70000 kilometers . Man , you did twice world circumferene at equator length on all your city videos .. quite impressive .. all the best !
