I'm a Korean living in Seoul Korea, I would say that I am a skincare enthusiast, however lot of the "Korean Skincare" products I see on RUclips, I have not seen in actual Korean market. I was actually blown away when I visited Target store in NYC, most of the Korean Skincare shelf products were either brands I haven't noticed in Korea or brands launched by Korean-American posing as "Korean Skincare Product" Guess what I'm trying to say is that be aware that even the "Korean Skincare" products can be just simple basic formulated products marketed into Korean Skincare frenzy, and be sure that the brand is LEGIT well known in actual Korean society rather than a "Posing" as Korean brand. I think Hyram is doing a superb job!

I’ve actually seen the same in Germany. I’ve been into Korean skincare for quite a while now and once the hype really peaked I’ve seen so many „fake“ brands in common drugstore chains. Some where looking like Korean products but brands I’ve never heard of from skincare channels or seen on the popular ordering sites (information on the packaging made it completely clear that it was just posing as a Korean brand )or just straight up known German drugstore brands using Koreans words on the packaging and the 10-step routine as a marketing scheme.
What brand most korea use as skincare?

I was going to say the same thing. I've lived in South Korea for a quite a few years, and around 90% of the time with RUclipsrs, I've never seen or heard of the products before.
I only use Korean skincare, I absolutely love it. I can never go back to western skincare except a very few products. I'm so happy you are doing more Korean skincare videos. I'm 46 and this old dog can still learn new tricks when it comes to skincare, and you have been fantastic in making sure I pick even better ingredients. The bonus is that you are such a sweet merman 😊❤️😍

Boblobblah4 I'm sorry I can't help you as I don't suffer from any kind of breakouts. There is a RUclipsr called Kelly Driscoll who only does videos on Korean skincare and she does have product recommendations for breakout prone skin. I hope that helps 😊
I used the entire Some By Mi Miracle line, except the facial wash. The first three weeks were hell for me because it caused a purging reaction on me. How did i know it was purging reactions? Because the pimples healed way faster than my normal pimple. After that 3 three weeks, the magic starts happening. My skin never gets this clear and hydrated before using this product. The purging is totally worth it!
It's a great product but you do really need to be patient with these.

@@zhansayabulegenova358 if you get skin problems outside the usual spots (for example, i used these products and my forehead which never had a single acne or any problem in my life gets 5 massive pimples) that's a breakout for you. If your trouble spots are showing things like the op said, then it's purging.
Dalia Idk glad it is helpful! Before using the some by mi, i never really use a skincare with an active ingredients before, so on the first week, i only used it once a day at night to make my skin get used to it first. After that until today, i use it daily twice a day at morning and night😊

As a teen that’s just starting with skin care your videos have been helping me A TON. I always get so overwhelmed with the names of all the chemicals on products and I’m now able to step away from products that might be harmful to me or the environment 💜 It’s also so nice to see someone reviewing Korean skincare as that’s what I’ve been using recently, especially from a brand called Skinfood. They have a lot of skincare lines based on more natural ingredients (honey, peaches, etc) and I was wondering what your take on their ingredients would be?

I came from using only soap as a cleanser and aloe Vera as a moisturizer and that was it 😹😹 no wonder I had such bad acne LMFAO

Hi Hiram! I’d love to see a video on dry but acne prone skin. A lot of times products for acne are aimed at oily type skin so it’s hard for dry-skin people to find good products. Love your videos!

I have combination skin and some parts of my face get so dry they peel, and I’ve actually switched almost entirely to products for more dry skin and seen a lot of improvements. The products I primarily use are the Cerave SA cleanser when my acne crops up and then their hydrating cleanser the rest of the time. Their moisturizers with sunscreen have also really helped with my hyperpigmentation left over from past breakouts. Not sure how helpful this is, but I wanted to say so anyway! Best of luck to you in your skincare journey 💕
i found this brand on amazon and oml my skin is amazing. i barely break out. i use the toner and the serum. the bonus is that i don’t even have to exfoliate anymore because the aha/bha is a good daily, gentle exfoliator

Some By Mi works so great like I can not stress this enough. First of all, at the start, I dont have a acne problem but I do have a super oily and super dry skin, like those two literally promised each other to be extra on my face.Add to that, my pores love to be as wide as they can. So, after a month of doing own reasearch on Some By Mi product, I finally decided to get the trial kit one. The trial kit contains cleansing bar, toner, serum and moisturizer. So, i cleanse, do toner, serum and moist, after shower, 2 times a day. I did this routine, non-stop for almost 30 days (as the product promise), well, guess what? I bought the normal size ones. The end result is magnificent. It makes my skin be super hydrated, not oily (no joke, my oily face has gone.) . My pores are now in a better size (lol) and I kid you not, my skin looks sooooo dewy and silk-like. You ever watch those skincare ads where their face go 'buing' after the actress press on their skin with their palm? Yup honey, now thats my face. So, im super happy with my purchase.
Ps- I know I sound like Some By Mi's promoter but I swear Im just a extremely satisfied customer.

i already used it for 1 weeks and just like you i dont have any acne problem but i used it when im on my period so basically i have some acne and i used it, and now my acne didnt disappear at all and there a lil red over my acne, should i stop the product or i should keep use it and wait for 30 days just like you?
Ohh lucky that it worked on your face, i was really confident and bought the whole thing in regular size (toner, serum, moisturizer) i have a highly sensitive-oily-dehydrated-acne prone skin and it broke out, not purging, just real breakout. Huge pimples, redness, my face looks like shit lmao. Now I'm using the ordinary and it cleared my skin from those somebymi breakouts. I hate how korean skincare doesn't work on my face except laneige and cosrx when they're literally the easiest thing to be found here jeez. *internal cries*
I’ve finished my second set of Some By Mi - I love it! It’s not greasy at all, very soothing and doesn’t leave my skin sensitive with sun exposure, even though I still do make sure my sunscreen is fully applied as these products are still exfoliating. If you have a break out, try soaking a cotton pad with the toner and put it over your pimple for around 5 min...really toned it down!

OMG I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKED IT! I constantly get severe acne breakouts during stress periods of time and this line always save my skin. I've tried the toner and serum but never tried the moisturizer cream. I thought it wasn't THAT good. I will definitely try it now!
I've been using the Some By Mi moisturizer for almost year now and if you've been thinking about buying it, this is your sign to DO IT. It's my all time favorite moisturizer I have ever used. I always order a jar immediately after opening a new jar so I will never run out!

I currently live in Vietnam and came across both my Some By Mi and Hada Lado completely by accident because there wasn’t many recognizable options for skincare so I just kind of picked up what I could find in drugstores here. Completely in love with the SBM miracle cream and Hada Lado Hyaluronic lotions! Had never even heard of these things before, knew nothing about skincare and what ingredients I should be using on my skin at that time but the results were noticeable! I absolutely love them now and they are staples. Recently got into skincare and researching it more and saw a few people like yourself on RUclips talking about these products and was quite shocked to find out I was already doing some good things for my skin! 😃

A korean skincare/beauty channel I would recommend is Director Pi. As Koreans take their skincare SERIOUSLY, her videos break down ingredients more thoroughly and goes into PEGs and other less obvious ingredients other than fragrance and alcohol. She also breaks down the formula's effectiveness and is up to date to new korean skincare ingredients such as the trendy Mugwort or Sugarcane as she has decades of experience behind the scenes in the beauty industry!
As a Korean, finally found my TOP favourite brand from Hyram's💕💕 I am glad to see that Hyram reviewed SOME BY MI😍😍

Thanks for this! I've been using the COSRX AHA/BHA and the Neogen green tea foam cleanser and I felt like it was time to try something new. I have combo skin and my acne's been way better but I definitely still have congested areas where I tend to break out. Once my paycheck comes in I'll order these and try them out💖

The green some by me line was PERFECT for my sensitive acne-prone dry skin ! I break out and get redness from other Chemical peelings but the aha bha pha toner did wonders! All the products cleared my acne completely

Hyram! Please review Shiseido!!! I have very oily skin, and I been using the Deep Cleansing Foam and the Softner Treatment. I would love to hear your thoughts for this products.
I had used CereVe, I feel like it didn't cleanse as good as Shiseido Deep Cleansing Foam... so I switched back, but I use the Shiseido cleansing foam, then use the treatment softner as a "toner" then with CeraVe ultra light night moisturizer and the daytime sunblock moisturizer
I discovered Stylevana thru your videos. I tried this line before seeing this video. I have a 15 year old son with lots of acne issues including major blackheads. This line had him almost clear in a week using the foaming cleanser and moisturizer. I am in love with it.

They work perfectly for my combination skin and thanks to your review of breaking down the components, I'm comfortable using these daily without worrying.
As a person who has been using the miracle cream moisturiser . ITS A GAME CHANGERR!!! i love it so much especially because its a gel consistency and not like a cream. I find cerave moisturisers soo heavy but the miracle cream is soo light weight and soo cooling. I thought the cleansing bar was like not that good as i was using cerave cleanser i kept. But when i ran out i startes using the soap bar and let me tell you. It totally changed my face. With the cerve one its soo stripping but as hyram said the cleanser is just very hydrating and made me see a significant change. The cleanser and moisturiser is a game changer combo totally recommend!!

And for the serum I'm using somebymi too, but not the miracle one, I use the truecica one because the miracle serum is toooo oily for my oily skin
Currently using the AHA BHA PHA Cream for about a week now and oh-my-god, my skin is looking hella amazing. Although I did have a tiny pimple due to my upcoming period, it healed so fast and now the mark is about to fully fade off. Love it so much!

Because of this skincare my cystic acne is gone! It's amazing and the only thing that has worked. I tried pretty much everything from the drugstore also mario badescu, proactiv, etc. This is it. I tried the 30 day kit to see what I liked from this and I now use the toner and serum. I use a separate cleanser and moisturizer and separate moisturizer for under my eyes because they're extremely dry.

If you guys are still doubting , i wanna say it works! Especially the toner!!! Im just an 18 year old girl with skin problems and i was always hunting for a good skincare products which never works until i found out about SomeByMi. When i first started it, there was no reaction and the smell is quite pleasant BUT i purged for about 1 month and i wanted to give up, until i saw that people said it was normal to purge so i just continue it. AND NOW MY SKIN IS SO FREAKING AMAZING. Like its so smooth and much brighter, my scars (which was the main problem) faded a lot after many uses. Also my breakouts weren’t as severe as before which i was very happy about !! Im just glad i found something that works for me. I’ve been using it for 4 months now and i can’t promise you how i love my skin more now :( 💗

I’ve also heard that people with dry skin are not really compatible with this, not sure if its true. But i’m an oily type
I have severely dry, acne-prone skin. I also use SomeByMi toner and moisturiser and had the same experience - my skin got worse for the first month and almost threw away the products but I continued. My skin stopped purging after the second month and then I started noticing a HUGE difference after the third month. My breakouts were less severe and my hyperpigmentation were almost gone. I've been using these for 8 months now and my skin has never been clearer. So, I must say, the toner and moisturiser also works for dry skin :)

Been using Some By Mi facial foam, toner, serum, and moisturizer for about 3-4 months now and I can tell you that it’s amaazzzzingggg! My acne face has definitely gotten so much clearer and my pimples are gone! Highly recommended!

Hi Hyram. I have not used Some By Mi but I do use the 3HA Clear Cream by Esfolio. It is a total game changer for me. I had super oily skin, acne mostly on my chin, and blackheads all over my nose and a little on rest of my face. I wouldn’t even bother with makeup because my skin was so oily and putting makeup on top felt gross. But now I have been using the cream for a little over a month and I love it. My skin is so much smoother and clearer, my face has never looked this good.
Do you use it everyday or once a couple of day?
I purchased the SOS kit a few weeks ago that includes a facial wash, toner, serum, and moisturizer. I have an acne prone skin, and big pores on my cheeks. If you look close enough, you can see that my pores are clogged.
I started the Somebymi skincare regime and I kid you not, it worked like magic.
My forehead is now really really smooth, I can literally glide my finger without feeling any bumps whatsoever. I'm still suffering from acne, but it's due to my bad sleeping routine.
Overall, the toner works the best. It really helps to exfoliate your skin without irritating your skin. My skin is more hydrated and plumpier than ever.
I have hyper pigmentation here and there and they're starting to fade out little by little.
I am going to purchase this product again, this time going for the full-sized ones. I'm impressed!
