i’m a wh*re for somebymi bc my success rates with their products are basically 100% 😂 their products gave my skin new life and it has never looked better. i tried deviating towards other brands but they end up ruining my skin and when i used somebymi again it’s currently restoring itself back to the clear glowy skin it was 🥰 the miracle toner and the yuja serum is my absolute absolute holy grail!! the yuja cream is also what saved my skin from being a clogged mess into clearer, brighter skin 💚

The 30 days miracle cream is one of my holy grails! I ordered it a year ago blind. Just because I liked the ingredients, claims and the price. I use it only in the evening 2 to 4 times per week

I love the propolis serum! It goes on so nicely and feels very nourishing, but dries down quickly so I can move onto my next step. Really great formula and ingredients. I was hoping you’d review more of their other lines like the matcha and truecica

I really love their snail truecica miracle repair line - I only use the serum in winter cause my skin is very oily, but the cleanser/toner/moisturizer works great for my skin! I definitely noticed an improvement in the sun damage/discoloration on my forehead, and it works well at keeping blemishes in check.
I've been eyeing that retinol eye cream for a while so looking forward to an update on that one!
I bought the somebymi miracle toner and have used it for about two years time. It sets my skin for subsequent serums and moisturizer routine... The yuja vitamin C serum is an intro to applying vitamin C as it is a derivative of ascorbic acid... 😊
I have used the miracle toner and cream since June this year, and the miracle serum light in July, and I can't remember having any pimples despite being stressed during those months (up to now haha)! FYI, I have oily skin and I always get breakouts, probably the one they refer as adult acne. I use these products every morning and evening and all works fine. I haven't tried the cleanser as I am currently using Cerave for oily skin, but otherwise, at last I have found the right products for my skin! I'm planning to use the yuja niacin sleeping mask. Hope it goes well!

The miracle toner completely cleared up my skin (my skin was better due to the rest of my routine but this toner was the game changer). Now I only use it around my period when I break out, and it clears my skin up waaayyyy faster than other products have.

I've been using skin care ever since i learned how harsh all my outdoor sports is on my skin like, surfing, cycling and snowboarding. I feel like some by mi keeps me looking young along with using sunscreen! Thanks for this video. it was nice to just reinforce how i feel about some by mi which ive been using for years on and off.

My God! I have that eye cream...been using on and off for 2 months now and its amazing! Cant wait for an update from you james!!!!
I tried the AHA-BHA-PHA 30 days miracle line starter kit and I fell in love with the face soap bar! The kit had mini versions of the face soap bar, toner, serum and cream, toner was fine, but the peppermint is kinda weird in there, serum was fine, but not hydrating enough for my skin, cream again was okay, but again not hydrating or nourishing enough for my skin. The face soap bar was a winner, I have sensitive compination skin with tendency for acne and the AHA-BHA-PHA 30 days miracle feca soap bar has been so good, I have noticed less break outs, it doesn´t dry my skin out too much and it has balanced my skin also any of the products did not irritate my sensitive skin. I agree miracle is kinda weird wording for skin care and the peppermint is questonable ingredient to add in these.
I love the miracle cream & just stumbled across their propolis serum about a month ago. I might have to try it. I’ve noticed there aren’t a whole lot of options for propolis skincare products. The cosrx has great ones, but I’m going to have to try this one.
I had my kid try the whole trial set for a month and it really helped with his acne. The ones I repurchased for him were the exfoliating toner and the serum.
Their pimple patches are my absolute favorite patches!

I have been using the miracle toner for my back acne and I absolutely loved it! I helped a lot, dried quickly without any residue and the bottle lasted for a really long time. So I thought I might try the miracle serum to compare both products and I think its fine. It helps but it leaves an oily film on the skin (which is not nice if I wanna put my pyjama on on) and I'm going through the bottle really quickly...

When I first learned about Salic Acid I went a little ( a lot) over board with the The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution and burned the crevices on the sides of my nose. 🤦♀ I have since been using the Some By Mi 30 Day toner and light serum. I do find them more gentle, and now I know why! I had no idea I was supposed to shake the serum though. 🤯And the eye cream info is gold! Thanks for all your content!
This is what I'm using for almost 2 weeks now the toner and serum and really makes a difference and really dried out my pimples or acne just have a moisturizer and its great i used it every night and good for my sensitive skin

Their acne sos kit was the only one who works with my acne prone skin, it really exfoliates gently. Now I've been using their snail truecica line, I'm glad that I finally found a brand that works well on my skin. I love some by mi products so much most especially their serums.

These were my first exfoliating products, I still use the cream often and the toner once in a while
I started using the 4 piece Miracle set during travel and am using it up atm.
I don't like cleansing bars that much, but I like the product line overall, i find it quite soothing. I'll use up the set. I might buy the toner and face cream in the bigger size.
I found the acid serum at TJ Maxx and it was the one of the best things I ever got there. I mix it with my regular toner to help it spread a bit further.
I have mega sensitive skin and acne scarring. A year or so ago I was really struggling with my skin - it was red, itchy, lumpy and dry and I had lots of spots. I decided to try the SomeByMi 30 day miracle routine and it literally transformed my skin. It's never looked better. I was using laroche posay products and medicated creams and spending so much on them. I'm a die hard fan and I love the fact that it's not break the bank expensive either.
I did try one of their vitamin c serum thingies and that made my skin itchy af. I also tried a snail mucin thing and that broke me out. But the 30 day miracle stuff is a game changer for me

I have the black snail serum and the yuja niacin serum. Both are good products, but I think they aren't enough for my 30's skin necessities. Whenever I use them, I feel like I need another serum to reach what I need for my skin.
I would say some by me is a good line for people in it's 20's or teenagers.
I love the 30 day shower gel. It got rid of my back spots

I really like this brand. I stick to the exfoliating products in the green containers
I LOVE Some By Mi. I use a combination of all their main lines; Miracle, Yuja Niacin, Snail Truecica, Super Matcha and recently started using the retinol for anti-aging purposes (I just turned 27, so If there's something I've learned is that is better and easier to prevent the wrinkles than trying to minimize their appearance or eliminate them). Another thing I love about Some By Mi is that they have a RUclips channel where they explain all their products, how and when to use them, their purpose, etc... Which really helps a lot when you're new to them and don't know what you need or where to start.
I have oily skin/excess sebum production, and because of that, I get a lot pimples and also hyperpigmentation (dark spots left after pimples). So I use the following products:
Morning routine:
1) I use the Super Matcha Gel cleanser to wash my face (to help with the excess sebum production, redura appearance of large pores)
2) At the moment I'm using the Miracle Toner (to target pimples, calm and exfoliate a bit the skin) and after I finish that bottle, I'll use the super matcha toner. (Which helps to further control excess sebum production)
3) I use the Snail Truecica Serum (to help repair the skin barrier, treat acne scars, etc.)
4) I use the Miracle Cream as my morning moisturizer (precisely because it's so light, gentle on the skin. It feels great, giving a nice dowy look but without making the skin too oily)
5) and finally, I use the Truecica Mineral 100 Sunscreen (this one leaves a bit of a white cast, so I try not to use too much unless I'm staying home or if I'm wearing make-up)
My night rutine:
1) I use the Miracle Foam (it gently exfoliates the skin. I use it for mainly pimple control and prevention which is the purpose of the miracle line)
2) I exfoliate 2 times a week, so if it's exfoliating night, I use the Super Matcha Mask (which has so many benefits) or I use the Bye Bye Blemish (this one is for brighting the skin. It does tickle because of the bubbles, but it's still gentle and great)
2-1) if it's a regular night, I just skip the matcha mask/bubble mask and go straight to the toner. I use the Yuja Niacin (this whole line is targeted towards skin brightening and reducing dark spots like melasma and hyperpigmentation, and sure suffer a lot with hyperpigmentation. This line has helped with reducing it)
3) I use the Yuja Niacin Serum
4) I use the Yuja Niacin Cream
5) on days I don't use the matcha mask/bubble mask, I use the retinol.
Some By Mi products are really gentle and you can combine them and use them together (except one product that I don't remember, but I don't use it, so I don't worry), they have helped me a lot with my skin, I get less pimples, my skin is not as oily as it use to be, my hyperpigmentation is clearing up, and my skin feels so clean and soft like a baby's butt.
Do have in consideration a few things though:
- If you want to start using Some by Mi, do check out their channel so you can choose what you would think it's best for you.
- Be consistent. Like any product or anything in general, you won't see results overnight (that's just not possible and quite a bit unrealistic)
- Have in mind that every skin is different, some products will work on you, others might not, others might make it worse, etc... But be objective.
- Do take in consideration what you eat (reduce the amount of sugary foods, junk food, juices, sodas, etc... And drink lots of more water)
- Keep your pillows and pillow cases clean. Change your pillow cases twice(2) a week and wash your pillows maybe once every 2 weeks or once a month. And if you drool, then do it more often.
- Wash your hands really well before washing your face and doing the rest of your skin care rutine..
- I would recommend to air dry, instead of using a towel. You also can just go straight to your toner before your face completely dries.
- If you have really serious acne, instead of trying different skin care brands, go to a dermatologist first. A lot of time they give prescription for pills to treat the acne from the inside out (I know, because I went through the experience when I was 14). And also, ask them about what ingredients to look for in skin care/ask them about the ingredients in the products from Some By Mi. Back in the day they gave me Epiduo and Tazorac, along with the medication. After that, it was just pimples and hyperpigmentation that until Some By Mi was a bit out of control, some times it would get better, sometimes worse. With Some By Mi, is more controlled.

@@nawazbhatti86 The BHA, PHA, AHA (miracle line) is more for acne prone skin. Yuja Niacin is for brightening dull skin and to help clear with hyperpigmentation, malesma, uneven skin tone, etc...
@@U1s9a9gi5 yeah it mentioned on their products but I thought since aha BHA PHA have more ingredients like glycolic malic niacinamide 4,5% it will be more beneficial in brightening .thanks for telling.

the 30 day miracle toner is magic. I bought over 10 bottles already and basically use it almost everyday. No irritation ever happened and that’s when I find my skin is clearer which I never had before.
How do you use it ?
@@reema7192 put it on cotton rounds and gently wipe the face. I do it after I double cleanse at night, bc I wear makeup almost everyday. It really helps to clean my pores.
I love propolis line! I just wish they has fragrance free version of popular products because I don't enjoy essential oils in skincare

I LOVE the yuja line! I used the serum & the gel cream. Literally the first Korean skincare I tried & it changed my skin almost immediately! I don’t get acne toooo often but I get dark spots that stay forever afterwards.

@@nawazbhatti86 aha bha pha is more for acne prone skin because of all the exfoliants. I like the yuja line because I’m not too acne prone but I get the dark spots that stay forever once a pimple leaves. All my dark spots were gone in a couple months after that + sunscreen.

The 30-day miracle bath gel is truly a miracle tho. I had a really bad back knee in my early twenties and it fixed it not in 30 days but it fixed it and then when I stopped using it last year is when things got horrible for me. so I just ordered another bottle, from style Korean.
I like the brand, I regularly use their aha bha pha line, especially the exfoliating pads, they help my bumps and texture. I then tried the yuya niacin line bit it's a meh for me, I only liked the brightening serum. Next i'm gonna try the snail line

I really like the galactomyces pure vitamin C! They used Ascorbic Acid in this serum and I have no issues with it 😍😍
Peppermint oil is great for concentration & cooling off, but use caution at night. Some people experience vivid dreams after using peppermint 😴
I've tried Someby Mi ahabha toner and serum. I loved the serum,because the water and oil formula,my dry skin loved the serum. But now, I'm using nacific fresh herb line for night and snp peptaronic line for day.
I really want to try the some by mi toner. I've heard good things about it. I have sebaceous filaments that just won't go away
I use the Boots Retinol eye cream and I really like it! It feels great on the skin and I do feel like it's helped around my eyes not look quite as wrinkly. I have chronic pain, so I have a lot of wincing wrinkles all around my eyes and eyebrows. I don't buy expensive eye creams, but I do like to use an eye cream because of my wrinkles
Love the Propolis B5 Serum. I was using BOJ Glow Serum, but I think it caused a mild allergic reaction - I'm not 100% sure it was the culprit.
Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Day Miracle Serum are strongly NOT recommended cos the ingredients are contain alcohol however the toner and miracle cream are good to use

I haven't tried these, but I loved their shower gel. At first, I thought it was an overrated product for teenagers going through the acne stage, but discovered that I adored it and it was fantastic for my skin. what is your opinion on their real cica 92% cool calming soothing gel? i've eyed it, but the huge size of the bottle somehow kept me from trying it out.
I have it and i really like it. I just don’t like the peppermint smell, but the gel feeling is nice and i think it works.

I feel like your skin might be similar to mine. When you said that oily serum doesn’t work for you, I felt I could relate. I used Nacific Fresh Herb serum, because everyone was saying it’s great, but I didn’t feel great at all, even though I love oils. I often use coconut oil instead of cream, but oily serums are just not for me. I also have a cica gel cream from Nacific, it feels nice if I use it in the morning, but if I use it overnight my skin becomes oily. Wanna try Some by mi cream and hope it’s gonna be good for me. I recently tried another Korean Brand Vely Vely, and if a sunscreen is not bad, it does protect the skin and isn’t heavy, but their vit C cream is just terrible and full of silicones, gives a really bad feeling to my skin. So, even though I want to try more Korean cosmetics, sometimes it’s just not for me.

I have used the 30 day miracle green tea tox bubble cleanser, AHA BHA PHA 30 day miracle toner, AHA BHA PHA 30 day miracle serum and the AHA BHA 30 days miracle cream. After using these for about two weeks I saw a major difference in my skin. I have repurchased some of these items multiple times and it never disappoints me.

I can easily take my regular retinol/al product under my eyes without irritation. With more gentle dedicated vitamin A eye creams coming out I wonder if there’s any other benefit of using lower strengths products under the eyes? Can my regular serum be higher strength, non irritating but still worse for me? (dry, non sensitive skin)

I had the miracle serum and I actually enjoyed it alot, I ran out but haven't had a chance to buy more yet.
The ultimate OG toner is Some by mi miracle toner. I have used the glycolic acid toner from ordinary but damn nothing compares to the sbm one!! Its my holy grail. Just look at its ingredients, niacinamide, tea tree, lactic acid, etc
Just heads up for Canadians. I have ordered from style Korean several times and the don’t have a standard shipping option thus you WILL get hit with taxes by DHL. Any major currier company taxes you. If you use standard shipping you won’t. Maybe one in a 1000
dunno how or why it happened but my local Walmart just started selling the Miracle toner, serum and cream in store! i hope it sticks around long enough for me to repurchase the toner when i run out
I do wonder this. On my retinol it says to use on wrinkles but not to use round eyes… but wrinkles are round eyes? So what would you recommend please? Thanks
I bought the cleanser for my teenager and we weren't too impressed...but the moisturiser and toner sound interesting!
I got the miracle trial set and have repurchased everything except for the face wash (I got the bar instead, which I think is a lot better) but I would agree the biphase serum isn't necessary. I got it bc I have very sensitive skin and it was soothing. I do wish the lotion was a bit heavier for winter, but on those days I add a light layer of Vaseline or a heavier lotion just in the spots I need it. Right now I exclusively use the bar at night and the beauty of joseon rice wash bar in the morning, and that combo is wonderful
i used the miracle toner and the bar soap when i was having really bad breakout and it did help tone it down. but now (after almost 3years) sadly, the face wash makes my skin look irritated :c so i stopped using the face wash but still continue with the toner once in awhile. i’m assuming because i’ve been using active ingredients for too long?
I'm jealous that a lot of people loved that miracle line. That wreaked havoc on my skin that made me scared of tea tree oil.

I have the 30 day miracle cream and unfortunately didn't check the ingredients well enough and didn't realise it contains peppermint... It smells like something that belongs on my feet 😑

just got my Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Day Miracle Serum and i love it! Gives me a nice glow thats not oily, looks nice and feels nice under my makeup too. Will use all of it before i comment if it helps with my skin dark spots and uneven tone etc.
Do u use it daily like a regular serum?

I tried all of the Some by Mi products. The only one like is the retinol eyecream. The other products have such a strong smell and I don't like the textures. I don't know but on my skin they foam up while working in.
I love some by me because it works for my super sensitive skin
Hey James, and hey guys! I have a question. I’ve been using this moisturizer for a while and i just bought COSRX Vitamin C 23 serum. I know that Vit C don’t work well with Acids but i have no other moisturizer to use after the Vitamin C 23 serum. Can i actually apply this AHA/BHA/PHA moisturizer by somebymi after COSRX Vit C 23? Or should i give it some times (like 5-10 mins) before applying the moisturizer?

This is my experience with the green kit. So in the first week after using it I’ve got big yellow pimples with a black head on them. I thought it was because it’s working or maybe because i was stressed at that exact time. i continued using it and I was still getting those ugly pimples some go and other comes and they left scars 😢. When i finished the 30 days course i literally stopped getting this type of pimples! And I didn’t know it was because of these products until one day my bioderma moisturizer finished, so i used the moisturizer that was in the green kit “Miracle cream”, the next day i break out immediately and i got those ugly pimples again. It didn’t fit me at all. My skin is oily, and i wanted to use it to get rid of my past acne scars but now I’m left with more and deeper ones 😢
But I actually got one benefit, my skin tone became better I noticed that it helped making my skin tone even. I guess this was because of the toner.
I love the Retinol Intense eye cream and have been using for about 10 months and definitely noticing improvement in wrinkles and under eye colouration. I never really looked at their other products as generally think of them as more of a young persons brand (which alas I am not) possibly because of their Miracle line. Their Propolis serum looks interesting so think I will pop one in my basket next time. Thank you James. Which Propolis serum do you think is best the SomebyMi or the Cosrx?

@@golden5747 Thanks, I have never tried Propolis but it might be worth trying now the cooler months are ahead of us, I know James is a big fan so time to give it a go. Think I will get both and let them battle it out so to speak.
