I have written in on my to do list for the long weekend ahead to get my camera figured out so it will auto focus and not do this anymore!! Thank you for watching and listening :)

I am a full-time working mama as well, and I appreciate the perspective because all the homemakers I follow are stay at home moms. Recently, I implemented the 1-2 chores each day, aka putting your home on a schedule, which is really helpful. I pray everything is going well with your new baby ❤

I need all the help I can get on this subject! It’s so hard being away from home for 9 hours and coming home and having to cook, clean and shower and rest and get to bed on time too.

I know this is older of a video but try waking earlier. Takes getting some used to but once you do it can really help. I am able to rest and read my devotional in the morning, journal a bit, change laundry, wash up and leftover dishes, etc etc all before even having to think about getting up kids, dogs, and chickens and going to work.
After work I wash dishes from the day, cook, clean up the kitchen, and shower etc.

I am a a full time homemaker only after retiring early due to ill health.
Juggling a work/home life balance is soooo difficult- especially when there are kids involved as well. I am full of respect for all women who are trying their best to make sure all aspects of their lives are taken care of.
    ❤️❤️❤️

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about your ill health! I pray you are doing okay and enjoying your time as a full-time homemaker now. I also do hope you're able to rest more :)
Yes - it's extremely hard. Many people don't have a choice but I do think some people have more of a choice than they think (definitely not all though). Being gracious and respectful of where everyone is at and how they're making it work is so important! Thank you for sharing and God bless you 💕

I'm a full time work from home mom to an autistic toddler, and these are all great tips, this is basically how I do things and manage to stay mostly on top of things, ESPECIALLY the cooking! We do leftovers twice a week, cook three times a week, order pizza on Fridays, and do cheap take out or fast food on Saturday nights after church. Leftovers are the best.

Thanks for making this video. I’m a night shift nurse and I work overtime usually every week. I am having such a hard time balancing homemaking and work and I really want to make it a priority to be more consistent with keeping up with my housework. My chore and meal schedules being so chaotic is making my life very stressful and it is something I need to work on. I will definitely be implementing these tips and praying for God to help me facilitate doing so!

Remember to give yourself grace too!! Being on the flip side now and being home with my little guy - I was trying to do SO much while working FT out of the home. It’s so hard. But God will guide you in what works for you - of that I can be sure! Thanks so much for watching 🤍

I’m a wife, full time college student and work at a preschool 25+ hours a week. It’s hard but it’s what God gave me so I do with what I have to do for now ❤ I have no children yet but I am planning on it for after I graduate college

Thanks for addressing this topic. I've been praying about this as I work full-time as well but pray I can give it up as it affects my health due to the stress and makes fulfilling my homemaking duties really hard. I also don't try and do more than thr basics during the week- no point creating unrealistic expectations!

Praying for you for clarity and direction and also GRACE! It is a lot - managing a home is a full-time job in and of itself, so adding a job outside the home to it makes it all the more challenging ♥ I totally relate to the stress! Give yourself lots of grace :)

Thanks so much for posting this! I am currently a full-time employee, but am struggling with the lifestyle. I feel as though my calling is to be at home caring for my family and home- I feel guilty about this sometimes. I do not have children at the moment but deeply desire to have a home full of children. My husband and I have discussed the future and what that will look like but feel it is slightly intimidating thinking of what a one-income family would be like. Praying God’s guidance in this season for all of those in a similar position.

Aw thank you for sharing your heart! I fully understand the guilty feelings. Cognitively, I think it’s ridiculous that we feel guilty about that because it’s clearly a reflection of our culture. However, I also deeply struggled with that guilt and the only reason I don’t now is because I actually do have a baby at home. How sad, right?! A woman in her home whose heart is in line with what God would have her doing with or without children is a wonderful thing - so I don’t know why we have to even feel bad!! 😆 Prayers for you and your husband as you navigate all the moving parts. Something to consider would maybe be a part time work from home position. That’s what I am doing now so that I can be at home :) the flexibility is great and it still allows me to bring in the income that we need in our current season. Just another option to explore! ❤️

Wishing you the best and I say this with all love but when i see women having to work plus do everything else it isnt fair. God made women weaker and more fragile physically. We even need more rest and kids take a whole toll on the body. I pray your husband can make it work to where you do not have to work if you choose not to. 😢
