i'm liking this new format! and also getting to hear your voice more hehe. my guess is that he's visited a lot of sick fans at this hospital before? since he lives in LA?
Another sea of cameras and the usual questions. I’m sure he gets days of wishing that part of his going out with other entertainers didn’t require that part of the evening.
I've seen Al in concert 6 times since 2014 and it looks like he might have Bell's Palsy. Because of his age it could be permanent. So, my theory is that he was struggling with the illness and trying to figure out if he could perform anymore. Justin Bieber had it and cancelled his tour, but because he's younger, luckily it cleared up.
im quite fascinated by al not being very...well...merry i guess during the childrens hospital red carpet, since mostly hes very happy during any event hes invited to, even the charity events. I tried looking for some event or something that can relate to this, but im out of luck. Whats even weirder is that i found on gettyimages when Al was on this late night show 5 days after the previous event, he was ..well, happier! This also goes for the hilary for charity event atleast 6 days after the LA childrens hospital one, he was back to his cheery self! i guess he couldve been in a bad mood, or maybe even... one of those days. Probably just his mood tho.if something happened to him that day though poor al :( (yes i know the charity event and the talk show thingy was in the video but theres nothing really to explain als sad tone :( )
Honestly, the same thing goes for events like: The Tribute to Stan Freberg (which took place during the last few months of Freberg's life) and Night of Too Many Stars (he definitely has his share of mellow moments, but they're nothing like this) I could probably scrutinize plenty of other events/pictures, but this one stood out to me the most.

Thanks, I am a bit self-conscious about my voice sometimes, but I hope it beats ai text-to-speech anyday.
Yeah, I like your theory a lot, too!
