Got to meet Al, his wife and daughter when he was grand Marshall at a parade we were in. The parade got rained out, but they stuck around and spent tons of time talking to all of us. Could not have been nicer.
He also puts on one helluva show if you’ve never seen him live. The man does quick changes and has more outfits per show than anyone else I’ve ever seen. Well worth what he charges (not a lot) for the price of admission! I want to take my son the next time he comes around.
@@nikkibest5010it’s not bad, it’s very cute because he knows he loves her regardless of looks (which aren’t guaranteed no matter how hot you are at any given moment)

They got MARRIED after that photoshoot for gosh sakes. WEEKS later. THREE of their children are named after Al & his wife.
He still looks pretty good. I have seen over 40 of his concerts and in one, he sat on my lap and I noticed he had tiny scars behind his ears so I figured he may have had some work done but otherwise, he looks good.
@@kevinintheusa8984 I know he had Lasik. I've only seen him once in concert. You must be a die hard fan. His wife is 61. If you look at pictures of her you see she's rocking the silver.
Suzanne has assisted on a song or two- she’s credited with providing a random scream on his polka medley for the Mandatory Fun album, and both Suzanne and their daughter Nina provide weasel sounds for the song Weasel Stomping Day.
I was a superfan back when I heard him say “I’m too weird, too this, too that, not enough that” about finding a soul mate. I felt so bad for him, but about the time he was saying that in interviews, he met the beautiful Suzanne. I was elated. He’s such a great guy and he deserves love in his life. Now he has a teen daughter. Yay Al! You’re not too anything or not enough anything. So happy for you! ❤❤❤👏👏👏
I went to a music college, and one of my classes was on concert promotion. My professor was a longtime manager of a local performance venue, and had met many celebrities over the years. When asked who the nicest performer who has ever used his stage was, he would always say "Al Yankovic, hands down." Apparently he would stay way past when he was supposed to leave to talk to fans and sign autographs, and was one of the most graceous and down to earth people my professor had the pleasure of working with. I actually saw Weird Al play on his own birthday 2 years ago in Raleigh, NC. His opening act and his band mates (all of which have worked with him for decades) surprised him with their own version of Happy Birthday toward the middle of the show. I didn't even realize it was his birthday until then! It goes to show that the man genuinely loves what he does, and the best thing for him to do on his birthday is to perform for his fans.
Bill set me up on a date too, but it was with the robot. Every time I try to hug him, he yell out Danger, danger and would zap me. Oh the pain, the pain
Somehow I always thought of weird Al as perpetually single but not in a way that you would ever define his relationship status. Like a middle schooler.
Man, I’ve never truly met him, just very briefly at a concert but he’s one of my favorite people. I hope but imagine that if I did know him in person, he would still be one of my favorites.
Never heard a negative word about him tbh. Everyone who has met him says he’s a great guy. Makes you feel good about supporting him. Makes you want the best for him, ya know?
Me and my jow husbands first date we spent 4 hours playing rummy together and just talked about each other and getting to know each other and on our next date we went out and one thing lead tk another and now we're married so i love that he talked to her on the phone to get to know her first

I would love “Weird Al” Yankovic to be my next-door neighbor. On the other opposite side my neighbor would be Wolfgang Van Halen. That would be two of the nicest neighbors one could ever wish for. 😊❤❤
In all my years I would have never thought that I would say that I wish my ex-husband would have loved me half as much as Mr. Yankovic loves his wife...God bless!
Im absolutely mad about my fiance, and i love seeing other dudes fawn over their SO. Not that cringy "my queen" stuff. Just talking about how in love you are, its amazing.

I'm not sure what this is called but I like this genre of video. It seems like in many cases celebrities deliver a collection of scripts about their lives in interviews which naturally vary over time or physical context but retain major similarities over many interviews. A sequence of clips like this can then be a rich way of highlighting aspects of a celebrity outside of a fixed time or space. I bet that using this source material, you could make a bunch of distinct videos of "Weird Al" talking about his wife, but this creator chose these clips in this order, which makes certain aspects of "Weird Al" more prominent, and others obscured. This is probably an overreaction to a 4 minute youtube clip induced by too fat of a bong rip but I feel like more and more we are asked to navigate a multiverse of objects with near infinitesimal variation, and to do so gracefully requires a reinvention of of our apparatus for understanding the world. Recently, I was trying to buy a gooseneck kettle on Amazon for tea and I was shocked by the sheer number of products that only varied in the placement of the power button, or if the internal diameter of the lid was 100mm or 105mm, etc. When confronted with such a huge assortment of similar items, the kettles appeared less as distinct objects with similar properties, but as particular cases of a continuous latent space of kettles (latent space as it's used in deep learning, basically a multi-dimensional continuous space where each point in the space corresponds to a kettle, and the distance between two points is small if the two corresponding kettles have similar properties). This change in perspective shifted my purchasing process from selective (of the n kettles with prime delivery, which one seems best?) to more generative (this range of properties seems optimal for a kettle, can I find a kettle that meets these criteria?). Similarly, when there is a sufficiently large number of retellings of a story (like the Wierd Al wife clips), the goal of making a compilation video may shift from displaying clips which emphasize some part of the finite set of implicit meanings within the source material to a generative exploration of the meanings within a continuous latent space of possible videos of Al talking about his wife. I need to make a quesadilla bye
It's interesting that he mentioned his wife being a vegetarian, getting pregnant, and suddenly salivating over a prime rib. Both Liza O'Brian (Conan's wife) and Kaley Cuoco had that same experience while pregnant. Fascinating.
Great clip of Al..nice and talented guy… re…The octopus at end of clip..don’t do that in australia..small baby octopus may be deadly blue ringed ones (they don’t show it all the time) and you would be dead within a minute.
