Thank you for this! Did you know that you can also unclip the recliner backs? The back of the recliner slots in like a set of Ikea drawers. Just un-velcro at the bottom at the back then unclip and pull up. Also, when unscrew any bolts or screws to remove parts (like you did for the frame), screw them back into the same holes so you don't lose them. Great job guys!!
What’s the power tool model and brand do you use and what kind of screws was used? Reason I’m asking is because I can’t find the screws that connected the recliner to the metal piece. Thanks!
I am just starting a moving company with not that much experience , Can you share some tips when it comes to moving heavier things ? I am living in Sweden
very well done- dont you think so Peter from Kulla flytt Ängelholm Sweden. I know that sofa is very heavy because my boss in Australia had one and i had to move it for him. But it is what it is.See us. Roger.
Pretty much any hardware and/or construction supply store will have those. Even most Wal-Mart's have a couple models! (My husband and I bought a collapsible hand truck many years ago just to have on hand whenever we want to move furniture around and it has come in handy on numerous occasions!) However, whenever we need to move or replace our large appliances, we always rent ourselves a _'STAIR_ _CLIMBING_ _APPLIANCE_ _DOLLY'._ That one piece of equipment is a total game changer when moving oversized and/or heavy appliances! Hope this helps! 😊
This is nothing new to regular movers who do this for a living. Although it could seem impressive to the everyday John Doe, movers have been doing this for years.
That's a good idea taking it apart. I should start bringing power tools to work
Wow, the amount of headaches and backaches my coworkers and I could've avoided if we knew that these could be taken apart like this relatively easily!

don't always do that. they can fall out. those holes and you have to buy them.
the backs didnt come off on this one

I really do hate Ikea
Just what I need to watch, it's upstairs and I am on my own so need all the help I can get.
Oh my Goash thanks a million it’s the video that I really needed before my moving.
The only time I seperate the sections is when the backs don't come off. Such a pain lol Nice explanation!
Easy job today lol
Do you put the bars back on with the couch upside down?
Can it be put back together without 5he middle piece? I want mine shortened..is that possible from the pre drilled holes on bracket?

Did you ever get the answer to this because this is my current situation
Wow! Wish I searched this 4 days ago instead of asking movers to help 🙃
I don't have the money and it's upstairs so it would cost more. The sofa is over 30 years old it's time it went.
Oh I meant myself at the time (in 2023). I wish I had found this video much sooner because it would have saved me money!@@PhilipBooth-qj9dk
