Sheiko training philosophy is way better than any other style, sub max work is all you need in actual training. Rpe 10 weeks are dumb and only for testing.
I have had the same experience about sometimes feeling strong but the app prescribes an easy day. I'm bummed because I feel good but when I start to warm-up the weights feel heavier than I anticipated.
Haha. I'll make one after I max out my bench next Saturday. Much hasn't really happened for a while and I've been busy with many other things. But I promise I'll be posting more frequently 🙏🏻
@@gammelbodagains5374 You really should bro. It's nice to follow a natty lifter and your progress over the years is very uplifting for the rest of us natties. Just post your workouts, and just mention the ups and downs you experience. Peace !
Hey man really nice videos. How has the training worked for you? I've been playing around with the app and it always generates really easy workouts so I'm kind of on the fence about it
Thanks! Very well actually. The workouts may seem easy at first, but they will adjust after a while to your feedback anyway - think long term. The main reason I'm still with Sheiko Gold after two years is the flexibility of almost everything in the app :)
Hey man would you recommend Shieko Gold to a late beginner (1.85xbw squat, 1.5xbw bench, 2.1x bw deadlift)? Or a online coach is better off? I've been training under data driven strength for a while. I'm looking to switch it up and perhaps save some money by switching to AI program. Whats your recommendation for me? Thanks man
I think you'd do well with Sheiko Gold 👍🏻🙂 It's very versatile and customizable. If you still don't like it after a full cycle, then you can try something else.
I really do not know much about sheiko programming style but how is the volume on the accessory lifts on this program? Accessory meaning movements such as direct back work, arm work, etc
In the "off-season" (Prep I) there is a decent amount of accessory work. There is less in the strength focused cycle Prep II, and almost none in the comp cycle (which only lasts around 3-4 weeks). In the Sheiko app you can also run Prep 0, which is like a powerbuilding routine with A LOT of volume on bodybuilding work
@@gammelbodagains5374 thank you for the detailed reply. I'm using jugg AI at the moment but didn't even know about sheiko gold until I saw this video. Do you recommend this over jugg AI?
I think it comes down to preference. Both styles work. Sheiko AI is unique in that you don't have any set training days per week. You choose your workouts on demand. Sheiko AI is also cheaper when you can buy a lifetime subscription for around 120€
@@gammelbodagains5374 That's interesting. Seems odd that you can choose when to lift as you go rather than having set days. Did you or are you seeing good progress with the sheiko app?
My estimated maxes are slowly going upwards, so something seems to work. I personally train every other day, so I'm trying to stick to that - you can't be lazy either 😉
Might be the angle that looks weird. Pause squats really take away the stretch reflex at the bottom of the squat, so it's much harder to get going. It's also not a huge deal if the hips shoot back a little when it's getting heavier, unless you make it look like a good morning. Hope that helped :)
Personally I do when I have a competition, or about twice a year. If you feel like the weights are constantly too light, you can also bump up your max by a small amount

Very true! I feel like RPE 10 weeks are better suited for novices who progress faster
Congrats on the baby btw dude !
Thanks dude!

The AI is not so dumb 😅
GAINSZZZ!!!
YEEEAAH!!
Keep it up
Scouting out Sheiko gold. How many accessories per lifting session are there? Is it mainly focused on Squat Bench and Deadlift?
Why aren't you uploading? Been expecting a video bro, wtf

Is it required to have access to chains and ssb bar? i want to do Sheiko AI but i dont have access to chains and ssb.
It is not required. You just uncheck all exercises you can't do/have access to :) (or make your own ones)

Good for beginners?
Complete beginners, no. But if you have decent technique and know the basics of how powerlifting training works, you're good to go

Just curious if your still running this program or what your doing now.
Still with Sheiko Gold :)
Hey I just considered buying sheiko gold app I never run sheiko before would you recommend is it worth the money ?
Definitely!
Damn just bought the jugg ai... Should have done more research, had no idea a program like this existed
I've seen Juggernaut AI just came out with an app as well 🙂
@@gammelbodagains5374 only for IOS currently, so waiting for the android version
Alright. You don't have to wait so long though 👍🏻
I just downloaded Sheiko Gold, do you have to pay a subscription?
The observation period is free, then you choose to pay a subscription or a lifetime fee.
6:36 what's the point of pausing if you then shoot your hips?
I'm legitimally asking to understand, not to bash, cause I'm not a powerlifter

Thanks for the quick response, just subscribed.
Thank you!
