TheGfdsahjk When filming the movie "Guys and Dolls" Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando, who were both featured in the movie, had a number of scenes together. During the filming of one of these scenes, as the story goes, Brando was having trouble remembering his dialogue and Sinatra, who was a bit frustrated , complained about how difficult these "method actors" were to work with.

This is a lovely video and a fabulous tribute to ‘Mr Warmth’ thank you so much for posting and if by any remote chance that any of Dons’ family or friends are reading this.....Even now, Don is bringing laughter, happiness and pathos round the world, what better epitaph could anyone ask for. Even more sad is that with today's bullshit PC culture, the next closest thing to Don Rickles would never get the spotlight. But I doubt there will be anyone to be that great anyways.

You wont go far wrong young man, you already show you have the taste and heart to appreciate fantastic professionals like Don, we have many great comedians today but there are no gimmicks of cheap fads to achieving the huge, lifetime success men and women of Dons era and quality achieved.
There is something about that era, to the men and women that rose to the top in a tough industry that broke so many performers that didnt have the steel to stick with it. I really envy you because you have so much to discover for the first time, it is very very special

When i heard that the first time i thought that DeNiro himself used that in "Showtime" with Eddie Murphy. He plays that Cop who is forced to do this reality TV stuff and they try to improve his acting. And he is breathing like someone just saved him from drowning to show what he thinks of those acting techniques. Maybe some say that film is weak but it got a place in my heart. I love all his funny stuff.
