10 points to Bruno for playing Tribal Kamigawa including the Plains.
... I miss my O-Kagachi Tribal Kamigawa 😭
Never make deals with the K'rrik player.
Lesson learned!
Former K'rrik player
Can confirm, i would sell you to Satan if i could get more health to cast another spell
@@MTGMuddstah I'm surprised you didn't make a bigger deal out of Mark backing out of his agreement with you.
@@colinfowler3021 all is fair in love and war
@@MrMarclax Yes, and this is a tabletop card game between friends; neither love or war. Slow your roll.
Turns out getting a 7cmc commander out on turn 2 is pretty good haha
I'm so used to this channel having an "in response to the equip", that I expected K'rrik to die while getting equipped.
Same 😂
3:37 I'm surprised the game didn't end right there already, when Mark got to untap with K'rrik after using Demonic Tutor on the turn before. I was expecting a Doomsday turn 4 win.
Of course! Perfection wins the day once again.
Playing red, you should have called Mark's bluff. SyrKonrad would have killed him too,and I doubt he wanted to be taken out so quickly. You could have split up the damage to make sure that each opponent was low enough to die from Konrad so that he became to table's target, not just yours.
Yea, that was probably the better line of play.
@@MTGMuddstah sorry, I know hindsight is 20/20 and it is a lot easier to see these plays from the outside looking in 😅 you played a great game and I always love seeing the good old Ogre Battledriver + Krenko beatdown synergy :D
RIOT No offence taken. It’s helpful to see other lines that can help me improve! I appreciate the input and thought you bring with your comments.
Ppl in my playgroup would get salty and probably not see the bigger picture.
There was lots of discussion going on and I was doing my best to lure Muddstah to my side! Politics for the win!
First time in a long time that i've seen no one play blue or green in a match
Ahh, Celestial Kirin, let's see if all lands gets destroyed.
Now made 100% simpler with Ugin's Conjurant
That's the main reason a clicked on the video XD
I doubt that all land will be blown up, he will need to probably cast a 0 cmc spell like a pact spell or a suspend spell like ancestral visions
Syr Konrad is my favorite uncommon to come out in a long time and is super effective in this format.
Really nice konrad deck dylan.
I'm glad you make video of these type of games. There are so many Cedh channels now they are getting kinda old. Food Chain, Consultation, Oracle, Breach, Kikki, Flash, some combo ect...
Pestilence Demon for the win!! He's definitely one of my favorite all time demons. I have him in my Konrad deck.
Need more Kirin decks!
All commanders start with K.
Ah yes, Kelestial Kirin.
Another person commented: "Never make deals with the K'rrik player"
I want to amend that and say "Never make deals with the mono black player."
My friend made a check list of "kill priority", and "mono black guy" is near the top of said list. The longer the game goes, the higher the chances Mono black is going to win. More than any other color in Magic, it rewards you for staying in mono black with huge splashy effects which get stronger the mono swamps you control and black mana you can produce. It also tends to force late games with anti-combo tech, such are graveyard hate and instant sped removal of creatures (which tend to be a source of combos as well). While it is happy to exchange life for power, it is not a real draw back, as it has access to tons of Drain life effects and Lifelink triggers.
The camerawork looks BEAUTIFUL!
Ok why didn’t you use the chaos warp on the demon?
it could always be activated with phyrexian mana in reaction to the chaos warp
so, mark is a traitor?
a player who plays K'rrik is usually the type of person who wants to win too much
Exactly, since he is playing mono black he gets a free pass for lying
@@Chuubii it's only cost me my RUclips dignity, so that's not too bad
@@Chuubii K'rrik is literally covered in Spikes
He gave Andrew one more attack step with the tokens like he promised 🤷♀️
Would it be possible to know where Bruno got his playmat! Its pretty sweet
I think his playmat is called 'Paramint Mana Blast' by Daniel Ziegler.
I found it on Amazon today and it's available in different colours as well ^^ (just mind the placing of the symbols and the colouring).
Also, there's a vid on YT showcasing it! :)
I see K'rrik and I click like.

@@Grave_isplaying thank you!!!
Ahh yes let k’rrik live the whole game what could possibly go wrong?
Thats what I was thinking at the end when Muddstah said K'rrik is a strong deck. It really isnt, you just let it do what it wanted. The one time you couldve done something, you got swindled into attacking someone else.
@@BadCookies1234 K'rrik is a fairly powerful commander if not just due to the tempo he can generate by allowing you to cast several spells in a turn and activating abilities (i.e. Pestilence Demon's) when you're tapped out.
How do you do these voice overs with out any stumbling in plays? great work, keep it up!
This is a bit weird but bear with me. I really like going "all in" in edh so goblins are one of my favourite tribes. There's a quite bad card from kamigawa called Soulblast that makes you sacrifice all of your creatures as an additional cost and then deal damage equal to their power to a creature or player. It's real bad against counter spells but real good when someone is holding you hostage with something like pestilence because they don't get a chance to kill them before you do.
It's not the best card that has ever been printed but it is real fun to cast.
Mitchell5597 funny enough, I used to run it in Krenko!
If only you got a skirk prospector at some point with that opening hand just to go infinite .
K'rrk decklist plzz! 🤘🤘
Unless I'm missing something, Mark using pestilence demon at the end would have killed himself at the same time as Bruno. If my math checks out, Bruno should have had another turn. Or it was just a draw.
I just realized there has never been an Athreos (the first one) deck in the channel...
I want to make a mono black deck, but what is the best commander for this?
So wait has his Krenko deck ever won on the channel? I'm genuinely curious
Yep!
Question Will the instant case at 5:44 cause kirin to activate? I thought that only arcane spells cause her to trigger it is it any instant and sorcery? Thanks
Hey there! It was able to triger it because it's a "tribal" spell. It has the changeling creature type and ability. Making it all creature type including "Spirit" :)
I see Muddstah went to the Seth, probably better known as SaffronOlive school of the alphabet...
The greed on that chaos warp was super real
When Mark activated the pestilence demon at the end of the game, could you not respond to the last activation, chaos warping the demon and fizzling the stack? Or maybe i dont get it..
The only way you could fizzle something on the stack is if you got rid of something it targeted or the thing it targeted became an illegal target. The pestilence demon doesnt target anything and before Andrew could cast chaos warp, Mark has to pass priority. Essentially he has to be able to activate the demon as many times as he wants first. Warping the demon would do nothing since its abilities are already on the stack.
Meiser ahh ok. I was playing a game the other day against a golos and i tried to kill golos in response to his active and the dude said it still resolved (he then continued to combo), but i didnt question it. Thanks for the info.
@@austin2568 Yeah no worries. Just remember that if you want to stop an activated ability from happening you can counter it with a stifle, or a trickbind, or a disallow. Good luck.
No. It’s ability would still go on the stack but I don’t know why the demon was not the target anyway. What could you have possibly got that wouldn’t just die to it.
I thought Kirin was underpowered vs the rest of their opponents but it’s nice to Krrik win fairly 😜 also, non-blue games FTW!
dropped a massacre wurm on a krenko player the other day. It felt amazing
How does a table of red, white, and black not manage to find an answer for a turn 2 K'rrik and let him stay out the entire game?
i adore k'rrik. very explosive
Any chance you can ask Bruno where you got his playmat?
You can find the same playmat here! www.amazon.ca/Playmat-Perfect-Gathering-Hearthstone-Balai/dp/B07LG5PD4K/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=magic+playmat&qid=1583201277&sprefix=magic+play&sr=8-1
THERE IS NO NEED TO TAP THE GREAVES!!!
I still hope to see an asmr video. :)
Kirin only procs from Spirit or Arcane cards.
You had me at K'
Why not chaos warp the pestilence demon?
Also crib swap on the Krrik would have been pretty good
Again a little disappointed with the balancing overall, at this point you can almost always tell who wins the game.
Yeah lately I've been having terrible flashbacks to the Derevi era with Trevor, you always knew who was going to win. I've been getting similar feelings with these vids lately.
Ahhhhhh, Monday morning goodness
What if everyone ran mono white?

Kelestial Kirin
I noticed when Corpse Churn was played you stated that you “caught that” when Nirkana Revenant was brought back to hand, did that mean you thought it wasn’t a legal play? Edit: btw love your content!
nirkana was meant to be exiled by crib swap
oh hi mark
Hi.
I did not hit her
could you try a deck I made recently on tappedout.net it is korvalds goblin feast. would really like to see if it can be competitive in a more experienced players hands
bruno bucciarati: CELESTIAL KIRIN!
So, list for Konrad?
Waiting for it!
As soon as Mark tutored, I thought the game was over. When I had a K'rrik deck, I would either tutor for Vilis if I want to have fun going through my deck, or Razaketh if I am looking to end the game and combo off. I have absolutely no clue what he tutored for but good on him for still getting that win! As a side note, K'rrik can be built to win on turn 1, and if you go first, no one gets a turn.
He almost certainly tutored for the lightning greeves
Didnt affect anything but just as a matter of philosophy of going back on mistakes. I am usually cool with it however I dont think I would have been ok with Dylan choosing a different creature after the nirkhana revenant slip. He could've now picked with the knowledge of hedonist trove being there and potentially denied something. Probably minor but a good example of some lines that some people might draw but others wont
Either you play casually and let him choose another creature, or "competitively" and let Nirkana stay in hand. There is no option that he does not get creature at all.
@@Zaalbarjedi my group would probably have him get a creature at random however he should have put his revenant into exile...yes others didnt catch it but that is on him. Gotta take the L to teach yourself to catch things. This is a game where you can do whatever especially casually so dont limit yourself to just those 2 narrow options :)
Yall should play with locust god at some point
No lands were blown up, 5/10 XD
Soo list for k'rikk?
It's up!
GG
i vomited when mark cast k'rrik on turn two
Literally read your comment as it happened . So gross
And now we have jeweled lotus so K guy is on the battlefield turn 1. And let's say we have doomsday in hand...
*technically they dont start with a K* still a good game lol
I dont think you shuffle your deck to chaos warp if the card doesnt go to the deck
One of this decks is not like the other...
Dylan casts Gorgin Vulture
Mark casts... Fucking Mana Crypt
Hey Muddstah! Fun fact about Chaos Warp! When used on a commander you don't shuffle your deck, you simply reveal the top card. You only shuffle if you choose to put it into your deck. It can lead to some great plays
Hi there! Actually, that's not correct. You can see a judge ruling on the matter here: blogs.magicjudges.org/rulestips/2019/01/chaos-warp-and-commanders/
@@MTGMuddstah Well I'll be, Goes to show how much I know. Thanks for the link!
A commander game with no blue or green sure is a sight
Dick move from Mark. Not holding up to his bargain!
He let me attack without using it? That's pretty much the deal we made.
@@MTGMuddstah Ah okay as far as I understood he promised not to use it until your next turns battle phase.
Politics yaaaaay.
Hey all, Mark (the traitor) here!!
It was an amazing game and a pleasure to play! I don't remember the specifics of the deal, but it was getting closer to the end of the night. If I remember correctly, I thought setting off the pestilence demon for the kill was a fair way to end it...
Also,as many pointed out, I was super surprised my commander stayed alive so long!! Getting the boots on was a relief.
Hey I know this is a bit late but do you by chance have a decklist for your K'rrik? :D
On a commander table...Four players sat down...Not a single Island...or Forest to be found...
A severe imbalance in the decks here, with a tuned K'rrik going up against a Celestial Kirin. The end result was fairly obvious, but to be fair you were in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't situation" between Mark and Dylan.
I don't think pestilence demon is "tuned"
@@brandongaslard1911 I was mostly referring to the early turns into getting K'rrik out on Turn 2. The win con may not have been "tuned", but the rest of the deck seemed to be reasonably so.
@Daniel That can happen sometimes. Good openers are good.
Brandon Gaslard um pestilence demon is great in that deck. Maybe I wouldn’t run it if it was a cEDH list but paying life to wipe the board at will is pretty damn good. I’m sure he runs whip to so that would offset the life loss
A game with four Mono-colored Commanders!
No blue...
No green...
Are we sure this is EDH?
Mono color commander is a lifestyle 😀
Wtf why did y’all just give mark the win? Why not chaos warp the demon on your turn while Dylan was still alive and force him to kill himself if he wanted to use it. Also the guy who blow up his entire board to get rid of your war cheif while you clearly where not the threat. Sorry to to sound negative. I do enjoy your content and videos but that was terrible lol
Damn this is really casual. Casual cards, casual playstyle, etc
