it's all fun game, until you get hit by a foking brick.
So kind for the delivery guy to bring his co-workers to play imaginary siege with the kids, who he delivered the boxes to, to build a fort for them to all try to take it down. Aspiring adults!
That’s what my head canon is; the delivery company was going along with the kids imagination to make the kids happy.
Maybe they also did it because rumors of the fort drew interest, and they were all on break. They went to have some fun because it seemed like something they could write off in reports when asked about surplus cardboard needing to be recovered, but it could not be.
I.e, they all heard about the fort and decided to find out.
