Invest aggressively and live like a bum until you're 30. Thanks to compound interest every dollar you save now equals saving roughly 5 dollars in your 40s. When you're 45 you won't care about how many people thought you were cool in your 20s, but you will appreciate the additional $100,000 in your bank account.
I so appreciate the real talk you bring to the table! I'm a 55 year old guy, who never "got it" in things like this. No one was around to mentor me when I was younger on how to build wealth, how to have the mental fortitude to overcome obstacles in life (like this video does), and your true desire to help folks.
When you get my age (and don't get me wrong, I LOVE this age! I have the wisdom, experience, and still have my strength, the perfect combination) I have learned that anything "extra" I want in life requires a sacrifice. For example, I've decided to start playing the drums again after not playing for over 40 years. I bought my kit and am looking for a teacher. But to learn the drums again will require time before and/or AFTER work dedicated to practicing, learning etc... I will have to take time away from other things to invest in THIS thing.
Young people, if there is anything you want to do now, DO IT. Finish school while you're young (trying to go back years later to chase after those intangible A's and B's when you have TANGIBLE needs like a mortgage, car payment, kids etc...makes it tough to keep the prize in sight and finish), experience things just for the sake of experiencing them while you're young....have no regrets when you're "grown up".
In the last five days I have re-examined my life after I had the thought, "Where have the last three years gone?" and realized I had been trudging and slogging through life. "The unexamined life is not worth living" - Socrates.
Listen to this man and take his advice to heart. He's not just teaching you about investing, he's teaching you how to LIVE.
(Sorry for the long rant my friend. If you need to remove this I understand)
(Oh, I totally forgot. I was going to ask, when you lost everything TWICE, as you were rebuilding things, did you have enough saved to dedicate 100% of your time to the rebuild(s) or were you also working full time AND doing this....or....?)

4 years ago in 2017 when I started investing in stock&bond my Financial advisor/Portfolio manager Hovik Morten suggested I bought some stocks he knows will yield valuable profits,he also forecasted that these companies will triple their net-worth in a space of 8 years. I did not regret taking he's advice because I've made over $1.9million in raw profits over the years.I started with 150k back then.(There's surely a need for profitable investments)
With his outstanding market tactics in which he used to guide me from the base to where I am now,Hovik morten my broker really made me understand there's no much for cheap assets in my investments because there's almost no activity with them..I am pretty astonished with my financial status right now from investing in the market under proper guidance of hovik he has really made sure I get major payouts from every trade and investments I make with him. Currently I invest $11000 and yield $32000 in dividends (monthly) with the aid of Hovik.
Some of my picks are,(NNDM),(NVR),(LISP.SW),(SEB),(DOWJ), (AAPL), (NYSE),(NASDAQ-: TSLA),While I'm a huge fan of stock picking in retirement,I have made a few rather modest investments in individual companies. There are so many stocks going to rocket in the long run..I put $150k into some growth stocks with Hovik Morten my trade analyst whom I've been investing with for years...I've gotten 25% on returns so far (getting my portfolio at $1.3million),I'll keep holding to see where it goes.

I had same thoughts. Robert K or some rich guy talked about giving the secrets out because it didn't matter. Most people will not listen and if they do they will do nothing about it. Most are locked in their habits and too comfortable where they are at to change or afraid to fail. It isn't always the lack of knowledge keeping people back, but it is what is destroying them.

I've been working full time very hard i live alone bills keep taking my savings i save to a certain amount but something always comes and takes it i don't spend anything extra than i need too its very hard but this video helped alot i need to change the mindset of well i cant do anything i need to find a way to make myself better
It may not seem like it, but having to use your savings to pay unexpected bills is a good thing. Look at it this way: you didn't have to put it on credit because your savings got you out of that jam. Don't give up! Sounds like you may need to find a way to make more money (raise, new job, move to cheaper place, etc.)

This is really good advice, not just regarding money but in general for life.
This is real this goes even deeper than just money. Toxic environments applies to your other habits like mental positivity and physical activity if you surround yourself with people that are negative you will think it’s normal to feel negative about all aspects of your life. Sad to see in the internet where you can pick which community you surround yourself with.
This is a great channel for kiddos in their teens and 20s. And everyone...but if you know a young person...send them these vids! This guy is gold!
