    Those cards are beautiful. I made several cards using the black ice technique and they were so much fun to make gorgeous cards. I’m going to make some Christmas cards for some special friends with this technique. One tip...I put a small piece of tape on the back so it would stick to my scrap paper, that way it’s not moving around so much. I have used both stazon & memento black, just needed to make sure it was dry.

    Linda, thank you again tor teaching us a wonderful technique. I can't try it yet as I'm waiting for my new heat tool, but I saved the video to view again later. I think I'd have cut out the top red panel of the red foil, though, as it's hidden by the black layer - saves material LOL

    The cards are gorgeous! ❤ I love doing the black ice technique, but haven't done any Christmas cards with it before. As that beautiful foil paper is kind of pricey for me, I usually die cut out the center of the layering pieces to use for other projects. Thank you for sharing. 🙂

      Check your craft store for metallic poster board. I have found it in the past at Michael's and Hobby Lobby. The poster board is much less expensive than cardstock in the papercrafting section and you get more!

    Can you stamp on top of the black one you clear embossed after you embossed?

    • @LindaInkandIngenuity
      @LindaInkandIngenuity  4 года назад

      Goog question, I don’t think you can very effectively. It would most likely resist any ink once embossed. The more I think about it I am afraid it would just rub off. I do think you could stamp and emboss a new image on top. You will have to let me know what happens if you try it.

    I admit: I LOVE foil paper! Never heard of the Black Ice technique, but it's stunning! I am not doing the embossing technique at all. I am already doing so many crafting techniques, I don't wanna start another one and buy stuff for it. Any idea how to get StazOn removed from photopolymer stamps? Have some of mine stained with it. Though it never caused me trouble, I would love o clean them.

    • @LindaInkandIngenuity

    I thought you said at the beginning of the video to be sure to clean your stamps with the stazon ink immediately. Why did you not do that immediately after you used each one?
