I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this!! I don't know if it's just me, but I see all these things I want to try, then order all the stuff to make them, and by the time I get the stuff, I have moved on to something else and forgot that I was so excited to make them! I think I need to figure out some sort of calendar system to keep up with all the fun things I want to do!!!
I have a file folder on my desk top full of screenshots and the date I took it. Once a week, I go through it and pick something and put a smiley face on it when it is done.
Definitely been there and done that! But your idea of a to do list is a great idea!
Yes! This happens to me constantly! The file folder is a great idea!
Stunningly gorgeous. I love all the gold with the green. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😊
Beautiful. I love this card. In my opinion, it's SO much better than a "traditional" Christmas card! What an eye! Your tutorial was full of great inspiration, complete with handy tips and techniques!
Thank you so very much! And I couldn't agree more!
Thank you for showing in detail how to use the “Ultra Thick”…. I have some in my stash, but have never used it because I did not know how well it worked… this card is gorgeous…Hugs…❤
Glad it was helpful! It’s something I need to use more often!
What a lovely card! I enjoy mixing and matching dies as well. Now I have to go see if I still have my jar of Utee. 🤗🇨🇦🤗
Thanks! Hope you can find it! I’m 100% sure I got rid of mine years ago because I wasn’t using it. 🤣
Gorgeous card! The red tickets add just the right pop! Will have to try these techniques--thank you for the detailed instructions. :)
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!
This is fantastic! Somehow I got ahold of a bunch of old videos and books from Tim’s “back in the day” times and he used this heating pot to make some super cool 3D jewelry pieces and guess what he used? UTEE!! So of course I had to go find the hot pot on EBay and also bought one of those huge UTEE containers like you used here. But that cracked glass technique!! Wowwwwwww 😍😍😍😍😍Thank you so much for sharing this! I love your nostalgic style. 🎄❤️🦋💜🎄
Sounds like you found a load of inspiration! Have fun with the UTEE and trying the cracked glass technique! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Super cool!! Yes! I still have MY UTEE and I still have my Ranger melting pot & various accessories!! Gotta pull that stuff out & use now!!❤
Yes you do! I never had the melting pot but wish I hadn’t purged my UTEE years ago! Who knew it would make a comeback!🤣
Cudowna kartka.Dziekuje
Juliana I just love your card. And I also thank you for really explaining in detail your process for creating. ❤
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you for sharing this is a stunning card. I just love it. I am one of those oldies that love Utee and use it a lot. From memory you can put your Utee piece in the freezer once it is done and it cracks for you. I think the longer you leave it the more fine cracks you get. I'm not sure if you new this or not or even if you wanted to know but you give so much I wanted to give an idea I know back. I haven't done that for a while but you have inspired me to get things out and have a go. Thank you so very much for the ideas you keep giving to the world. I, like many are truly very grateful.
Thank you for sharing this tip! I’ll have to give it a try!
Love all of this! Your instructions are clear and easy to follow and the finished project is beautiful! I can’t wait to try some of these techniques on my own.
Thank you so very much!
Beautiful! And such great ideas for using products in creative, new ways!!!
Thanks so much! 😊
Soooo beautiful 🤩👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😊
I love all you did with this card. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching and commenting!
Wow! Gorgeous card, and thanks a bunch for the cracked glass technique tutorial!
Thanks so much!
what a wonderful card. You certainly have an eye for beauty and creativity. TFS and clear instructions. Merry Christmas
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words!
Wow - I haven’t done the cracked glass technique in YEARS. I think I still have some UTEE in my stash. It’s definitely time to pull it out. What a great card!
It is time to pull it out! Happy crafting!!!
Juliana that is a beautiful card - Wow! Thank you for the inspiration and sharing your techniques!
Thank you so much!😊
GORGEOUS ❤😊
Thank you so much! 😊
Beautiful card! ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
love your cards and techniques!
Thanks so much!
wow, just wow!!!! Now I want to pull out my UTE- didn't know about the crackling. I love how you explain everything and what it is you're using. Nothing worse than a video where no one mentions the type of paper they use - ugh. this is the kind of card I would make for someone special whose card goes in the Christmas box. saving this in my Christmas file
Yes this card is definitely time consuming and I would be giving it to someone special! I’m glad you found my explanation of things helpful. I try so hard to try to remember to mention all the little things.
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you!
You give such inspiration. Beautiful card
Wow, thank you!
Wow!
Thank you for another fun, inspiring tutorial. I love this card and I have some UTEE from a long time ago. This cracked glass technique is wonderful. Can't wait to try it!
You are so welcome! Have fun pulling it out and playing!
This is a wonderful instructional video!!! Love the card.
Thanks so much!
Beautiful card, Juliana and thank you for showcasing the technique. Will definitely give it a try soon!
Thanks so much and have fun!
I love your videos!!! I wish I had the nerve to do mixed media like this! ❤❤❤
No nerve needed! Just sit down and give yourself permission to play and enjoy the creative process. The more you do it the easier it will become!
Looks like it’s been enameled. Very cool!
Thanks! It looks so cool in person!
Just lovely!
thank you!
I love your card and this video is awesome! ❤Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! 😊
You are awesome! I have never used UTEE. But I will be giving it a try. I really love this card. It is very beautiful.
Thank you so much! It’s a fun product for sure!
this is beautiful! to save some steps, you can actually pour more UTEE over the previous hot, melted surface, and not have to cool and reink each layer. :)
Yes you can however I never seem to get an even coverage when I try that. Maybe I need to give it some more practice!
You are a MASTER at layering elements on your cards. This is just a beautifully designed card. TFS❤
🥰thank you for such kind words!
This is stunning. UTE is the best. My jar is about 20 years old. I love your reminder to get it out and use it. Thank you.
You are so welcome! And thanks for watching and commenting! Happy Holidays!
😄😄 I think mine's probably 20 years old, too!
Pretty sure I got it at a craft show...Sewing and Craft Expo? Something like that.
That event was always a great way to separate me from my money, buying too many things that I didn't use.🙄🤷🏻♀️
@@jaytee2642 Those kind of events were SO good for doing that! Good thing this sort of thing doesn't go bad with age! LOL
I’m pretty sure I still have some UTE around here somewhere, this looks like fun and I love the card you’ve made ❤
Thanks! I wish I wasn’t such a purger sometimes because then I would have still had mine! 🤣
I love this!!! And I'm sure I still have ultra thick embossing powder in my craft room for this great cracked glass technique that I have not tried in along time Thank you so much
Lucky you! Now it’s time for you to get it out and make something!
Hi new stubby. Really love the UTE and the cracked looked. Thank you so much for the tutorial I really appreciate it💕
Hello and welcome! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Love this card!
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much!
Beautiful card. I have the triple embossing powder, but have never used it. Need to try. Thank you for great video.
You are so welcome!
This is a fantastic card!
Thank you so much!
What a great video that’s so detailed & I love your new techniques -- thanks ..
Thanks so very much!
beautiful care
Thank you so much!
Omg serendipity!! I just bought some from BM and was searching for a way to use!! Thank you, thank you 🙏 😊
🤣that’s awesome! have fun creating with it!
I bought a jar years ago. Will be pulling it out again. Thanks for the idea of how to use it!
Enjoy! It's such a fun product to work with!
I need to try this! Love your card!
Thanks so much!
Wow I forgot about this technique! Time to pull out the UTEE and play!
Yes indeed! Enjoy the creative time!
Such a nostalgic card, Juliana and a wonderful use of so many stamps! I found my UTEE and can’t wait to try out the crackle step❤. Thank you for taking the time to share, via RUclips, all of the steps in making this beautiful card. Your directions are always clear and easy to follow and fun too! Yes, I have also knocked over my jars of embossing powder 😅😅😅! Happy December 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for such kind words here! And I'm SO glad I'm not alone in knocking over my embossing powder! 😂
What a beautiful card,Juliana. It’s truly stunning, in my eyes. I remember placing the embossed image into the freezer and then crack. I had forgotten about this wonderful technique. Thanks for making this card for us, along with all the stamp sets.
Ah yes, I remember that being an option to help cool it! I’ll have to try that next time. Thanks for reminding me about that!
Love the card and the cracked glass technique. another thing to add to my wish list! 😀
Thanks so much! My list is a mile long too!
That was awesome! I never used UTEE, but had heard about it. I really loved how the slide turned out. Your tutorial was very thorough, which I appreciate!
Thanks so much! I’m glad you found it helpful!
Lovely card as always for you! I still have some UTEE. I don’t know if it has a shelf life, but I’m going to try this.
I don’t think it would go bad. Definitely worth giving it a test run!
@@JulianaMichaels I am going to try it and I will let you know!
I remember this technique! Guess I am old. 😜
I guess we are both old! 😂
@@JulianaMichaels that wasn’t very mice of me to put it that way. You are definitely not old! We have both been crafting long enough to remember this technique. Thank you for reminding me. ❤️
@@kristinevencel2898 I don't think you are either but we have both been around awhile for sure to remember it! Happy Holidays!
This card is a masterpiece! ❤ I’m in love! Do you think the cracked glass technique would work with multiple layers of regular thickness embossing powder? I have a big tub of it and the thought of buying more embossing powder makes me cringe. I guess I’ll have to experiment! There’s always more than one way to create an affect, right? Thank you so much for this tutorial. You are an incredible designer.
There is something about this that is slightly different. That said I don’t know if regular embossing powder would do the same thing. I say give it a try and see what happens!
Does it give a similar finish as glossy accents?
It does, except that you can't get the cracked effect with Glossy Accents. At least not that I'm aware of.
