Just terrific! People who call this an insult for J.S. Bach or A. Vivaldi don't have any imagination about good music. I'm sure that J.S.B. would have been proud or at least would have made a new composition when hearing this interpretation of his music.
Like the concerto for 4 pianos is an insult to Vivaldi (BWV1065), or Bach's Concerto (BWV974) is an insult to Marcello? And do you think he skewered any singer or instrumentalist who ornamented a da capo aria?
