I've mentioned before that you are one of the best reviewers and providers of knowledge in the photo/video space. Your thorough analyses are so succinct with no superfluous information and I really hope your channel grows. The value you add for all of us from beginner to pro is invaluable. Thanks, oh yes, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas or whatever is ok to say in our woke world. :)
Hey mate, great video as always! I have a question, what monitor do you recommend for a Lumix G9? Im looking to buy one but I really dont know about it. Also, do you have or know any page/place to buy it in UK? Thanks in advance!
Hey man! If you are looking for just a monitor (that doesn't record) I'd recommend the Atomos Shinobi 5" amzn.to/3SLAkI1 or ACCSOON SeeMo (if you already have an iPhone) amzn.to/3SHgQUO. I'm personally very impressed by the Shimbol Memory 1 amzn.to/3OKixzs The latter does also record, but that's mainly for back-up and not a very high quality recording. But the monitor is really nice and built like tank ruclips.net/video/eI0bbLmU25o/видео.html All of them work fine with the G9 Let me know if you have any questions!
Really dumb question, imagine you own an FX30, which recorder/monitor would you use out of all the recorder/monitors you have reviewed so far? Im asking for a friend..🙈 Thanks for the video!!
Not a dumb question at all! If you’re looking for a monitor that can also record, one of the Atomos recorders is great. Ninja V/V+ or one of the newer models. If you’re looking for just a monitor: the Shimbol Memory 1 is great ruclips.net/video/eI0bbLmU25o/видео.htmlsi=ROsSDIFjNJsMWiK0 It can also record, but that’s just for a (much lower quality) back up. Or take a look at the Atomos Shinobi. I have used more monitors than I have reviewed and in my experience the really cheap ones are basically a waste of money. Colours are way off and oftentimes they just won’t work as expected
@@RedFrameTech Hey thanks for the reply (again :P) Aah i didn't know that the record quality was lower (im new to this and am completely overwhelmed by al the jargon and terminology) The build quality of the Shimbol is very impressive so i thought the recording quality must be too 😅 And i do need to be able to record since i simply will not pay 5 or more times the normal price for 1tb. Hmm maybe ill have to go for the new Ninja V then. (im the most indecisive person on the continent so i will have to have a long and hard think) Will you upload your livestream? I dont think ill be able to make it on saturday. Thanks again for your reply, its much appreciated! Bedankt!
@@mick0matic Yeah, if you need high quality recording it’s either going to be the Ninja or the VA. I have both and find myself using the Ninja V the most. And yes, the live stream will be up on the channel afterwards!
Using this exact setup more or less for a wireless director and light tech monitor on a music video set next week!
Also the clip of your pup jumping was worth the whole video haha.
I agree though, my focus puller is going to be tethered to the camera and the wireless will go out from their monitor.
😄 she’s ten btw. But still very active and playful
Cool! It’s definitely a nice piece of kit
Thank you for your presentation. I hope you are well. It's been awhile since I have seen you.
Happy to see you back here again Enrique 🙂
