Annihilus is a severely underutilized cosmic threat (the recent Annilhilus Wave event notwithstanding). Even more than Kang, I'd love to see him involved int the apparent focus on cosmic events that seem to be the next MCU phase.
I wouldn’t say he’s as big of a threat as Kang. He was, at his most powerful, slightly stronger but less experienced than Thanos. But, at least in the MCU, he’s got nothing on MCU Kang. He’s uber strong but if Kang let Thanos do all of what he’s done, then he could do the same for annihilus
I mean anyone who has heard his thoughts about Batman's stance on not killing or seen one of his videos on invincible was already painfully well aware that Rob would be the villain.
Doctor Doom is a better version of Batman, change my mind. Why bother fighting crime at the street level when you’re smart enough that you could design a society where there’s never any crime to begin with? If you have the technology to build a suit of armor that would let you fight superman, why would you not wear it all the time? You’re a genius in a world with magic, why wouldn’t you master it? Villains are threatening to destroy the universe every week, why would you hesitate to kill them? You’re prepared for every scenario, so why wait until something bad happens for all the dominoes to fall instead of proactively setting them in motion? Why keep reacting like a novice when you’re the greatest chess master who ever lived? Why leave the fate of humanity in the hands of inhuman gods when you could take it for yourself and become the master of your own destiny? Why allow the threat of war killing innocent civilians when you could build a robotic army so powerful no one could ever successfully invade you? Why let people live and die in poverty where they’ll become the next generation of supervillains when you have the resources and technology need to provide a post-scarcity lifestyle for everyone? Why let people slave away at jobs they hate when you could replace them with perfect robots so they can spend their days in more meaningful pursuits? Why let education standards fall when you yourself could teach better than any mundane human could hope for? Why allow some bureaucrat politician to pass laws you know will bring about negative outcomes when you know how to make better ones? (Batman already trusts himself to do the right thing more than the police) and if you’re doing all this, why would you stop at you border? If you know you could make the world better for everyone if you could just make them listen to you, why would you let an imaginary line allow them to continue suffering? Wouldn’t you be obligated to bring the entire planet, no universe under your benevolent iron fist? Doctor Doom is what happens when you take Batman to 11 and allow him to take off the kid gloves and use his brain and resources to enact real change. And by the standards of comic books that makes him a supervillain, because the status quo is god and it doesn’t matter that the US Government got it’s land by slaughtering native Americans or that they put mutants in concentration camps or that they’re probably controlled by HYDRA, anybody who wants to anything to be different than they are must be in the wrong. But it also makes him a badass, and the best damn example of what a baseline human being is capable of that it almost makes you proud of our otherwise pathetically weak species. Doctor Doom is what happens when Batman actually starts to look at the bigger picture. And he’s evil, undeniably, he’d probably openly tell you as much, but that’s part of what makes him fun. He’s ha my, he’s arch, he’s chewing on the scenario, the dark overlord wizard mad scientist robot master laughing maniacally from his castle as he drinks blood out of a skull themed goblet as he plots how to take over the world. It’s such a fun aesthetic, and anyone who denies that has no business liking Batman either because they lean into that Gothic Aesthetic a lot in Arkham too, Doom is just… amplified, over the top, superior. Am I saying that I would be Doctor Doom if given the chance? You’re goddamned right I would. Not a joke, when I was in school as a child I would genuinely answer the question “what do you want to be when you grow up” with “mad scientist” or “supervillain” specifically because of Doctor Doom. He just looks like he’s having the fucking time of his life. Like, don’t get me wrong, I love Spider-Man as much as the next guy, with great power comes great responsibility, the whole selfless schtick, it’s at times been enough to move me to tears. But be honest, if you had superpowers would you really want to be Peter Parker? Not to have his powers, but to actually be a person like him? If you answer yes you’re a fucking liar. Peter is. Avery virtuous character, but his life is fucking miserable because of it. Every good thing he’s ever had he’s given up for other people, and the thanks he gets is being broke and hated by the same people he dedicates his life to saving. His girlfriends die, his family dies, he loses jobs, he loses friends, he fights every day of his life and he’s always losing ground. Every struggle brings a new burden, each time he’s forced to make a decision he has to weigh his happiness against others and then live forever wondering what could have been if he’s made another. His life is torment without Mephisto ever needing to lift a blood red finger. Now compare that to Doom’s life. And tell me, honestly, which would you rather be? I thought so. Anyway this has been my TED talk, and in summary: Evil > Good. Please enjoy your complementary anti-life equation.

I hope we see Annihilus in Quantumania. I don't know if they will because it seems like Kang is going to be the big villain for the next saga, but just a introduction in a credit scene would be awesome.
Since the MCU has nerfed their comic counterparts, I expect Annihilus to be severely nerfed as well when he comes up in the big screen.
