Apocalypse is my favorite X-men character of all time. I’d like a story arch that pushes his ability to the absolute maximum and conquers the multiverse with complete omnipotence.
Well, there was a multi-part episode of the X-Men series from the 90’s where Apocalypse plotted to destroy time so he could remake everything in his image.
The saga of The Twelve! Apocalypse makes his own multiversal version of a super infinity gauntlet by tapping into the cosmic fabric of reality through the powers of The Twelve, a collection of twelve mutants he uses as keys to unlock the ultimate power to remake the entire multiverse and all. And he actually pulls it off. He does it. :)
Same. I'm favourite Marvel villain of all time. I need to read a modern story on him that doesn't actually suck. But to see him done right in the MCU would blow my mind
I agree. The way the MCU portrayed Thanos in Avengers is actually closer to how Apocalypse personality is supposed to be. Thanos greatest motivation is supposed to be his love for Mistress Death not a love of Balance in the universe. But this is just my opinion. I just wish they had a proper Age of Apocalypse trilogy of movies in the X-men series where Apocalypse is the villain and portrayed as Thanos was in AvIW.
I have a feeling we'll get him. With all the talk about celestials and mutants right now in the MCU, I have a feeling we'll get a very accurate apocalypse.
What if Apocalypse force himself into the mansion and joins a team. He outright tells them he's staying to test them and goes on a few missions. lets say this mini series last a few comic like 6. Gambit, Beast, Jean, Wolverine, Pixie, Apocalypse, Nightcrawler and colossus.
@Joe Curr thanks bro. this will give a hugh tention to the comic because he could kill them at any moment. it also will build on his character as well. maybe an understanding he needs to be stopped but knows where he's coming from like magneto in away.

@@westside9032yea, and that’s why his stories aren’t good. He’s supposed to be all powerful but they can’t do anything with that so they nerf him and make plots that make zero sense given the powers he’s supposed to have
With the philosophy of Apocalypse. I feel that he would be a perfect "Herald of Galactus" . Galactus could sense the Celestial energy and strip it from Apocalypse then replace it with the Power Cosmic. Thus Apocalypse willingly would go out culling the weak from the universe for Galactus.
The problem is, Apoc could adapt and probably augment his self to become on par with the Power Cosmic. Not to mention Death Seed Apocalypse quite literally has power on par with the Phoenix.
One of the things I like most about Apocalypse is that he very rarely ever actually intends to really destroy anyone. He considers that a waste of potential, given his "survival of the fittest" philosophy. That's why he would choose lesser powered people and enhance them to be his Horsemen, elevating their potential. Despite all of his frequent "villain speeches" about killing the weak, he really believes that ALL mutants have the potential to be the "fittest". He proves this with his monologue when he joined Krakoa. I mean, he's still an arrogant jerk, but he sees himself as a well-intentioned one. 😁 🤣
Also, I don't see him not being a reality-warper as a short coming. There's so many ways to kill those mutants using intellect, strategy, covert tactics and timing. Apocalypse rocks!!
Exactly. Didn't Colossus beat Proteus, Exodus, Nimrod and his brother Mikhail Rasputin by himself. Then surely Apocalypse should beat any of these guys.

They actually basically treated him the same way the comics treat him he was shown as being a superpower for being who could do what he wanted to anytime he wanted besides when the plot found it necessary for him to lose. Typical superhero story where the villain always has to lose even though they are basically all powerful.
They really do hate on him because he's a villain but as a villain he's not supposed to win. Take away that... and be destroys almost everyone that he goes up against.
Apocalypse is one of the inspirations for my favorite villain i'm writing for a story. Think Apocalypse mixed with Ozymandias mixed with Yujiro Hanma mixed with Pain from Naruto. Someone crazy, ruthless, and powerful enough to conquer the world by simply being a force upon it instead of a ruler.

Incorrect, my friend! Apocalypse's original mutant powers when his powers first manifested were: immortality, molecular control & superhuman strength. And while the Imperial Guard definitely are no joke, I can't see them beating Apocalypse. I mean, this is a guy who fought the X-Men, X-Factor, the Avengers AND the Inhumans, at the same time, & they STILL couldn't beat him! It would come down to Apocalypse vs Gladiator
Apocalypse has always been my favorite villain. But they have always had shackles on him. There's no reason Apocalypse couldn't just make him self a Celestial light lets say.
@Jack Trippin777 plot armor covers many heroes and villains that lose against foes they should have no trouble defeating. Best example Spider-Man vs Fire Lord. Fire Lord is a cosmic threat and whooped the avengers easily. Spiderman defeats him because "he was mad"...
Honestly, I think the Apocalypse in that timeline allowed Nimrod to win because he knew the mission was over and the remainder of that timeline was pointless once Moira/Akkaba had what she needed. Once Wolverine took off with the data crystal and put it into Moira to restart her life there was no point in Apocalypse to continue on in that fallen Earth. That's likely why he sent the rest of the mutants still alive in that timeline to live with the Shi'ar. There were only 8 mutants left on Earth to complete the data heist and send Moira back to stop the Machine Takeover.
You make great content, well done :) i have read maybe 2 comics in my life and have nothing more than a casual interest in superheroes and related stories, but you still manage to be one of my favourite youtubers. So. Well thats all.
He's looking at the potential. The eternals have no potential they are already limited by their genetics and race that Thor comes from are also limited by their makeup. It is humans who have so many variables and mutations due to their short life.
say what you will about the movie but they did solve the body problem by giving him a body with a healing factor combined with his power amplification ability he was almost un killable. if he took wolverine in the comics he would be scary powerful as the body would be able to handle the strain of all his powers. the only problem is weather or not Logan's mind can be taken over his heal factor does give him some mental shielding.
He's far and away my favorite Marvel villain. The animated series whenever he showed up was really the only episodes I needed to watch because he was so cool.
Thor kills Thanos, Apocalypse kills ALL the Thors at the same time, so clearly Apoacalypse is stronger than Thanos. If anything the gauntlet is a bullshit device, but even then, Apocalypse will persist, no matter if you snap him away, he will come back.
It's the writing the some of his comic book stories suck. He's such a complex character some writers don't know how to create great stories. I understand though. He's difficult. So congrats when some have got it right.
I wish I could remember the one shot of wolverine where basically he was a caveman and could only remember a few hundred years at a time. But basically is the god of war/rage in physical form and an immortal. I was a kid but it was one of coolest wolverine story from early 90s
No way Nimrod would beat Apocalypse if Marvel actually wouldn't keep depowering him for the story. Apocalypse will remain my favorite...imagine if Apocalypse convinced Thanos to fuse...WOOOOOOAAAHHH!!! LOL
Apokalypse is one of my favorite all time marvel villains and I'd like to see him get an upgrade like so many other characters, he can either defeat or at least give a lot of marvel heroes and villains a run for their money , I'd really like to see him unleash and go all out , with his present power and with an upgrade .
Apocalypse would destroy Thanos. Apocalypse would also destroy Galactus. The fact is, the comics and movies always make it so Apocalypse uses only a fraction of his power in order to allow the "good guys" to defeat him. In the X-Men animated series where we saw Apocalypse easily destroy the X-Men, that is what actually would happen if Apocalypse wanted to use that power against any of those opponents. Thanos was defeated by other mutants working together as a team. That means Apocalypse would defeat Thanos all by himself.
@@moleculeman1783 Being more OP with the Gauntlet is base on your understanding of their power and the understanding of everything cosmic, which I have to give to Thanos.

I love Apocalypse. The voice actor in X-Men TAS did a great job portraying Apocalypse. I love this quote from Apocalypse. There is no freedom from me, there is freedom through me.
My man Apocolypse 💪🏼💪🏼
I bring the space stone to the throne of his Grace.....
A gift to the great one......
Apocalypse!!!!!!
Since you mentioned him, I would love to see a video on Exodus!
Soooooo much Pain Soooo much.........DEATH☠️
Incorrect, my friend! Apocalypse's original mutant powers when his powers first manifested were: immortality, molecular control & superhuman strength. And while the Imperial Guard definitely are no joke, I can't see them beating Apocalypse. I mean, this is a guy who fought the X-Men, X-Factor, the Avengers AND the Inhumans, at the same time, & they STILL couldn't beat him! It would come down to Apocalypse vs Gladiator
I agree with you 1000%. Everyone other than gladiator Apocalypse wipes out clean.
Apocalypse with the Infinity Gauntlet is unstoppable!
Apocalypse has always been my favorite villain. But they have always had shackles on him. There's no reason Apocalypse couldn't just make him self a Celestial light lets say.
exactly he has so much potential
He’s a joke
I wonder how many videos rob has that explain apocalypses origins
its gotta be at least 5 at this point
This video really makes me wonder how apocalypse lost to nimrod who has been beaten by 3rd stringer x-men teams.
Plot armor, the greatest and underrated power in comics
@Jack Trippin777 plot armor covers many heroes and villains that lose against foes they should have no trouble defeating. Best example Spider-Man vs Fire Lord. Fire Lord is a cosmic threat and whooped the avengers easily. Spiderman defeats him because "he was mad"...
Didn't he only lose because he was fighting 3 nimrods? One he could handle 3 tho
@@godsson1110 3 nimrods makes sense. But I thought Nimrod and Apocalypse fought during Claremont's run?
Honestly, I think the Apocalypse in that timeline allowed Nimrod to win because he knew the mission was over and the remainder of that timeline was pointless once Moira/Akkaba had what she needed. Once Wolverine took off with the data crystal and put it into Moira to restart her life there was no point in Apocalypse to continue on in that fallen Earth. That's likely why he sent the rest of the mutants still alive in that timeline to live with the Shi'ar. There were only 8 mutants left on Earth to complete the data heist and send Moira back to stop the Machine Takeover.
In the middle of binging scream series on Netflix. Gets notification from RUclips of new comics explained video. Pauses Netflix lol
I haven't even watched it yet & I know he is 1 of the best!!!
You make great content, well done :) i have read maybe 2 comics in my life and have nothing more than a casual interest in superheroes and related stories, but you still manage to be one of my favourite youtubers. So. Well thats all.
Apocalypse should stop trying to transfer to a human body and look to Asgard or even Eternal
I do question if he can or if he would really want to.
Looking back, this man basically carried 2020
The thing is, is he has no singular omega level power
But I believe all togther he is an omega level threat
I saw Rob uploaded another episode of Beyond Omega and immediately went on break at work.
Apocalypse deserves his own movie..
Title "En Saba Nur"
He's far and away my favorite Marvel villain. The animated series whenever he showed up was really the only episodes I needed to watch because he was so cool.
Haha..this is one I was waiting for. As if he needs a explanation.
Thor kills Thanos, Apocalypse kills ALL the Thors at the same time, so clearly Apoacalypse is stronger than Thanos.
If anything the gauntlet is a bullshit device, but even then, Apocalypse will persist, no matter if you snap him away, he will come back.
Yeah hes pretty bad ass and amazing. Until hes not.. Such an inconsistent character..
It's the writing the some of his comic book stories suck. He's such a complex character some writers don't know how to create great stories. I understand though. He's difficult. So congrats when some have got it right.
I think he should be the thanos but for the x men or something
@@username.exenotfound2943no he’s too weak to be Thanos
Apocalypse considers himself a god. Gods don't just destroy. They test all then destroy some.
If you haven’t done Thanos for this I’d love to see an Omega/Beyond Omega Level video about the Mad Titan.
LOVE the Omega beyond Omega videos man!!!!!! Thank you very much for what you do!
Apocalypse needs to steal a more worthy body like Thors, Hulk's, or Superman in your next saga of that Batman Horseman story
Yeah where is that continuation?
@@harbour08 I think you and I are the only ones wanting this lol
I wish I could remember the one shot of wolverine where basically he was a caveman and could only remember a few hundred years at a time. But basically is the god of war/rage in physical form and an immortal. I was a kid but it was one of coolest wolverine story from early 90s
Never heard of this before now but thanks for letting us know this is a thing
Nimrod being about to overcome Apocalypse still makes no sense.
Yeah I blame crap writing
I honestly thought you did these one already. keep up the work rob
Apocalypse would destroy thanos
100%
How?
This answered my question about him being Omega level. Thanks!
Is anyone here because of the upcoming ‘Black Adam vs Apocalypse’ episode of Death Battle?
Awesome video Rob thanks keep up the great work
No way Nimrod would beat Apocalypse if Marvel actually wouldn't keep depowering him for the story. Apocalypse will remain my favorite...imagine if Apocalypse convinced Thanos to fuse...WOOOOOOAAAHHH!!! LOL
Yeah dumb down apocalypse too much
Apocalypse is a joke
Apokalypse is one of my favorite all time marvel villains and I'd like to see him get an upgrade like so many other characters, he can either defeat or at least give a lot of marvel heroes and villains a run for their money , I'd really like to see him unleash and go all out , with his present power and with an upgrade .
“He is immortal, now this doesn’t mean he’s invulnerable, he can be killed... also he can manipulate his matter and be invulnerable”
Always enjoyed the Beyond omega level series. Keep up the good work. Rob Corp for life.
Can you do Lucifer morningstar or Michael demiurgos?
Cheers mate for bringing this back
I was literally just thinking about this yesterday!!! What the heck!?
Apocalypse is so underrated I wish he the same respect as thanos or galactus
Can’t wait to see how the Mcu will handle his character.
They already did in X-Men
Been waiting for this one Rob excellent work sir.
Apocalypse is a joke he lost to cyclops 😂 Thanos would kill apocalypse by blinking
I want to see Apocalypse get the Infinity Gauntlet or at least one of the stones
//i think he'd be way more OP than Thanos👌
@@princelii6937 hell no
Man he might snap all the readers of the comic to non existence lol
@@moleculeman1783 Being more OP with the Gauntlet is base on your understanding of their power and the understanding of everything cosmic, which I have to give to Thanos.
Holy shit! I can imagine that
One of my 3 all time favorite villains ever!
