For those door way seams with gaping you should try the Crain 515 with the tall legs, your Kool Glide will go right under it.

Crazy cats are universal with us floor guys 🤣🤣🤣 also, crazy that you seamed the two different carpets together!! Over here in the UK we would just use a metal strip!!
20 years under my belt and still love goin to work on a morning!!

I enjoy the videos and appreciate the passion, especially your prep with tri tack on jobs, I do the same thing, have to say I disagree with filling your gullys with latex, makes the carpet less serviceable in the future, same reason we don't wanna staple to the tack strip either, I keep my gullys around 3/16 or so on thresholds or whatever and back cut about an eighth of backing to jamb in there, if the gully, stretch, and amount of backing to tuck is right then its not coming out via traffic, vacuum etc...
