thank you for this
Thank you so much
Something really impressive & rare is Adele's vocals are ALL one take. Every single vocal track on each album is the original demo because, she says, those vocals have a charisma and an urgency that get lost if you rerecord them. “I never redo my vocals. Never. Never ever.” - Vogue Magazine, November 2021.
That's almost unheard of, especially nowadays in the Instagram age where perfection is the goal and faux perfection is the reality. Adele also goes to the studio to write and record when she's in the middle or at the height of her emotions. That's where the honesty comes from that you mentioned in your "21" reaction. Your words were "honest vocals" and that's perfectly said.
Wdym by this . Can you just elaborate . She doesn't practice before finalizing or you meamt when she is there too record it ahe gives it all in that first take which is the one she goes with without fabricating it ?
My personal favorite has to be Love In The Dark, but i absolutely love this album
Same
Same!
Me too
Same! It’s truly heartbreaking and somehow perfectly describes one of the worst breakups I’ve ever been through
same
All I ask wrecks me.
It’s as simple as that.
“This woman feels things on a different level” is the best quote to describe Adele. ❤️
If you wish to check a live version, I’d like to recommend you the Carpool karaoke with James Corden. It blew my mind.
Can you believe Bruno Mars is a co-writer on it? It’s great
Love in the dark and All I ask literally live behind my heart. They never leave me.
'Remedy' and 'Sweetest Devotion' are both about her child!!
Fun fact: she played the drums on Hello, and the guitar on send my love (to your new lover).
I love your reactions, and your background just adds to the calming essence of your videos. Love it!!
Yesss, I've been waiting so long for this reaction !!
after listening to 30, 25 is still my favorite adele album. all her albums are amazing though!
I cry every single time I listen to All I ask 😭
My personal favourite ranking
1. All I Ask (Bruno and Adele are my favourite singers of all time!!!)
2. Million Years Ago
3. Remedy
these are my favorites too just in a different order
1- Million Years Ago
2- Remedy
1- All I Ask
You make me love music and lyric soooo much more, thank you!
This is one of my favorite albums! She just gets better and better. SO excited for 30.
Love the decorations, very cozy
I really want to see you react to 30. For me she has outdone every single project of hers i feel like its her best piece of work
All I ask kills me. It brings me back to the day I found out my ex-husband of 21 years cheated and was leaving me for her. I didn't see it coming and this song came on in the car and I sat there bawling. It's still hard to hear it.
You have a new subscriber 🫶🏽 cant wait to listen to new albums that come out in the future with you!
I think she’s talking about her son when she says “you’ve given me something I can’t live without” 🥹❤️
SO EXCITED
You've no idea how much I have cried to ALL I ASK. it's heartwrenching
Awesome!!!
She actually worked at the River Lea, a restaurant in London. I don’t know if it is connected to the song. I love it all the same
so happy you got through 21 and 25 so quickly so you can listen to 30 soon! 😎
Million Years Ago is one of my favorite songs on the album and people really sleep on it. I feel like you're thinking of "Home" from Michael Buble. I can see how the melody feels similar. It's funny because they're almost two sides of the same coin with home being about wanting to return to a place that comforts you while Million Years Ago is about returning to that place but NOT feeling that comfort anymore.
Million years ago is by far the best song. I feel like people need to feel the pain before they can enjoy this song. The lyrics are very deep and raw and the melody is so simple and beautiful.
Actually Million Years Ago was made based on a Brazilian song called "Mulheres" sang by an iconic singer from here called Martinho Da Vila and written by Toninho Geraes. There's a court battle going on cause Toninho, the original songwriter of this melody wants recognition for creating the melody, and Adele and Greg, who wrote Million Years Ago didn't gave Toninho the credits, so Toninho will sue Adele for plagiarism.
Your reaction for ‘All I Ask’ is absolutely everything 🤍🤍
Remedy and Sweetest Devotion were written for her son 🥺
Sweetest Devotion...the lyric about her son's love being the only love she never looked for. ❤️
Something that is remarkable about her success is that her popularity and celebrity spans generations. My parents like her, I like her, my nieces like her.
Also, you should listen to Sam Smith. They've been compared to Adele as far as vocal performance. And the albums are GREAT!
Yes yes yes I would love to see/hear a reaction to Sam Smith. They’re remarkable, some of their songs huuurt me.
@@lucinka1306 Sam goes by they/them pronouns, in case of next time.
@@henrymathews3671 oh sorry, I didn’t know. I’ll fix the comment
@@lucinka1306 no, I’m sorry if I came off as arrogant, I was just letting you know, it’s no problem 🤗
@@henrymathews3671 not at all! It’s okay:)
If you’ve ever been through heart break All I Ask was DEFINITELY on your heart break playlist.
Send My Love To Your New Lover, I Miss You, River Lea, Sweetest Devotion…I have such a hard time picking a favorite. I love this album.
Oh man, this album is special to me - it was when I watched Adele live at Wembley! She played all her hits from 21 and 25, with Chasing Pavements and Hometown Glory from 19, as well as Skyfall, and all with a sore throat!! Absolute queen ❤️ She unfortunately had to cancel the next night's show, so I think I was there for her last ever live show (June 28th 2017). Watching thousands of people sing Someone Like You together as the show's closer, with everyone holding up their phone torches, is a magical moment I won't forget.
The River Lea runs through North/East London before joining the Thames near the Olympic park in Stratford. Adele grew up in one of the areas on the Lea, and used to walk along it to meet up with friends. Similarly, Million Years Ago was written about when she went through her old neighbourhood (where she wrote Hometown Glory) and just started crying with the force of those memories. She's a London gal through and through. Would love to see your reaction to an interview with her, or her Carpool Karaoke, as her talking voice is so different to her singing voice!
Your reactions and sing-alongs are so adorable 😍
Just finished listening to her 30 album it’s amazing.
About the Adele albums feeling like live recordings, it’s because they’re kind of like that, she makes de demos and just that, the demos always turns out to be the final version of the song, she explained that. Like the ‘To Be Loved’ video she put on her channel, her singing live the whole song.
All I Ask is so perfect yet tragic.
Send my love and Love in th dark two of best songs ever
Now it’s time to listen to Adele 30, so fucken amazing!! Plz do a review 😩
Thanks for reacting to this album and going deep in detail about the lyrics. 🤗
My top 5
* Hello
*remedy
* when we were young
* love In the dark
* all I ask
All i ask is the best song on the album, in my opinion.
Love in the dark gives a big fight
Yes yes yes!!
@@fabriziocastrillon3496 eh
She wrote Remedy for her son 🤧♥️
Million Years Ago has always reminded me of another song, and I eventually figured out what it is - Hopelessly Devoted to You from Grease, oddly enough. Idk if anyone else hears it.
Yaaaasss!
home karoke hand-held bluetooth speaker microphones came out when that song came out… so we’ve all been living room divas with Hello😂
To me, I miss you is talking about the loneliness of the dark after a yrs long relationship breaks up where it's a toxic relationship but you truly love that person and miss them anyway.
All her albums are demos pretty much because she records them in one take like you picked up on. She said it's the most honest way to get the lyrics down. She said it in a few interviews, last one I read was one of her recent Vogue interviews she mentioned it.
I'm trying to be serious here but I keep sneaking glances at your Demon Slayer mug. Now I just want one. hehe! I love your set-up!
i always loved Remedy but when i heard it after my mom passed away, i lost it. it reminded me that she is still there and I always think about her during this song. my other fav on this album is When We Were Young.
I am loving your Hogwarts aesthetic! Especially Christmas!
Michael, will you react to Norman? Waiting for this one. Great reaction
Fun fact. Million Years Ago was based on a famous Brazilian music called Mulheres from Martinho Da Vila. The songwriter of the song is suing Adele for using his song's melody without permission, i.e, plagiarism.
It is based of how she felt about people treating her differently now she is famous, how she misses her family and friends and about the mistakes happened in the past. If you notice that it is quite similar to When We Were Young because they are both about getting older since they are the last two songs added to the album
She's legendry
Love your reactions! Maybe you could react to florence+the machine. Maybe starting with ceremonials!
You should listen to the deluxe tracks: Can’t Let Go (painful as hell), Lay Me Down, Why Do You Love Me? 💚🤘🏼
Can't let go makes me cry everytime.
second this
seen someone comment to listen to sam smith and i concur! in the lonely hour really was my best friend in some dark times. they put their whole entire foot in that album.
I think I Miss You and Remedy were about her newborn son. Great video!
i miss you isn’t about her son 😭 listen to the lyrics…it’s her and her ex partner
You should make another video with all the deluxe tracks from 19, 21 and 25, as well as 'Skyfall' (which won her an Oscar).
Yes, love the bonus tracks from 25, I was hoping he would include them!
all i ask, love in the dark, and remedy will always be my top 3 on this album
love ur reaction as always :3 // please react to phoebe bridgers omg bet youd love her
Water Under The Bridge is the best song on the album. Best Adele song !
I feel like you would really appreciate the album X by The Driver Era!
wow adele all day
This was my favorite album of hers until 30 was out.
Someone may have said this: you have given me something I can't live without seems to be in reference to her son. "you" being her husband and "something I can't live without" being the son
1. River Lea
2. Sweetest Devotion
3. Love in the Dark
4. I Miss You
Is it true hello was singing to her past self? What do you think?
Yes, watch the apple interview with zane, she spoke about it
My top 4 favorite songs from "25":
1. River Lea
2. Love In The Dark
3. Remedy
4. Sweetest Devotion
I miss you’ is about sensual sex, in case you didn’t get it😁, one of my favorite songs in the Album along with ‘love in the dark’, I am surprise you didn’t like it
All i ask… breaks my heart always…
All I Ask.....my God
not liking I Miss You is a character flaw Michael
Love in the dark just hits different
This is my favorite Adele album.
Hello is actually about her younger self, it’s a conversation between herself now and then. She said so on the Oprah interview.
Yeah, most of her songs are literally the demos, so literally one takes.
I’m sorry but this pause here is a work of devil😂 54:12
Do Selena Gomez droplet era
Hey Beveraggi, Could React To Why Don’t We’s New Song “Love Back” They Have a MV On it and I feel you’ll love it
Please react to Jessie Reyez debut album BEFORE LOVE CAME TO KILL US it came out last year
you should react to Maneskin ❤️ an italian band who won the Eurovision
2.9 billion sales on Hello
love in the dark and remedy are truely masterpieces
Please react to if i cant have love i want power of Halsey
Why does million years ago sound like glimpse of us ?? 😂
i want him to react to harry styles so bad
Seven Spanish Angels?
I think love in the dark is about her divorce, the thing he gave her that she can’t live without is her son and she’s telling him that he shouldn’t underestimate that when he’s in doubt.
I agree. But this song was written in 2015, which is when they were still together. They got married (and separated) in 2018. So it's almost like she predicted their split..
@@GEMINICHAI yeah, I mean she was kinda hinting it, do you get what I mean?
@@henrymathews3671 yeah, exactly! That’s what makes it even more sad when listening back, knowing that’s how she felt but was too scared to actually admit it
@@GEMINICHAI True
I had to wrench myself away from listening to Adele's _30_ . But I just really wanted to check out your reaction to _21_ and _25_ . You made a lot of the same observations as I did when I first listened to those albums. I think I'm just too much of a feminist (and it seems you are too 😆) and that's why most of the lyrics in _21_ grate on me a little. I hate that she was clinging on to a guy who clearly wasn't worthy of her. The melodies in _21_ are out of this world so if you don't listen to the lyrics, those are some of her best work 😅
I thought _19_ (or maybe _25_ 🤔😀) was her best album but I stand corrected. _30_ is out of this world!
Okay, I gotta head back to _30_ . I can't help it, I'm addicted. You gotta hear it soon! 😍
I miss u is about physical intimacy with lover
REACT TO KATELYN TARVER ALBUM 'SUBJECT TO CHANGE' PLEASE
Please listen to Sam Smith's "The Thrill of it All" album!
39:10
Track 10, All I Ask, was written by Bruno Mars. He wrote the music and Adele wrote the lyrics. THAT is how you get singer songwriter, power-pop perfection. Ridiculous, huh? I was lucky enough to hear her sing this live when she did her 25 tour and came to Glasgow. I cried 3 separate times for a ~redacted~ length of time on each occasion. Such a good gig. 🔥
All of Adele's recordings are one take.
first!
25 is better................
