Just some context: the voice notes in My Little Love were from when her phone when her therapist wanted her to record the conversations she was having with her son. They wanted to make sure that their son wasn't affected too much by the divorce (hence why they now live next door to each other despite being separated, and so on). But the last voice note was a voicemail she left on a friends phone while having a panic attack.
My Little Love and To Be Loved DESTROYED ME. there were times i had to pause the songs because i lost it and didn't want to miss parts of the song. Adele has the ability to not only be honest and have the lyrics be relatable but i also feel empathy for her at the same time. Some artists really make you feel for them in a personal way with their songs. They don't just work their asses off and want us to relate to their lyrics but some of them really want us to know their story and that's important too.

I always listen to a new CD multiple times before I voice my opinion to friends. I can honestly say Adele has created another masterpiece. Incredible vocals and song writing and production from start to finish 👏
Most insightful and intuative commentary I've heard in relation to this Masterpiece of an album. Adeles vocals are stunning and writing is spectacular!! Album of the Year, Song of the year, To Be Loved!!
I feel like you’ve just met her but she already means so much to you. Adele has a way of connecting with everyone and that is why she makes everyone cries, she is so relatable! Ps what kind of effects would she need with such perfect voice? Man, I love her.
Adele is truly a masterful vocalist, songwriter and honestly my favourite artist. She absolutely deserves all of the success. This album took my breath away ❤️
The 2nd anniversary of my best friend (of 15 years) passing by suicide is this week and I have been struggling with my depression and anxiety. I listened to “Hold On” and it felt like my heart and mind needed it. I played it on repeat for my walk to clear my head.
I have to say that your reaction to 30 is wow, every time Adele comes out with a new Album I think there is no way that she can come out with something as good or better, but once again she as proved me wrong! I did not have any doubts about it, but your reaction confirmed it
I love how you dissect this album to the extent of making me realize things about the album that’s I didn’t notice before. I appreciate all of the effort you make, so that we understand the importance of this album. This videos are amazing✨
Two minutes into the video, before even hearing any music , I have an appreciation for this guy. He did some research and got some background info on Adele before hearing any of the album. Giving him some context. I respect and appreciate that for an individual doing a review. Otherwise sometimes the music may not make sense or resonate, and it still may not, I haven't watched his reaction yet, but at least he gives himself a chance to possibly see the masterpiece I believe this album is. Ok, back to his reaction now...
AHHHHH I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS when i tell u the first thing i said when i had finished listening to the album was "oh michael is going to absolutely fucking LOVE this"
Your review was long, yes, but perfect. I was so pleased to see you totally understand the journey she meant to take us on through the song order. Which is why she asked that the default NOT be shuffle on Spotify. Pitch perfect reaction, and I loved it!
This was a delight (the album and your reaction). Thanks for taking the time to analyze every song as its own entity and as a whole - it really is a masterful body of work. Looking forward to your reactions to her live performances...prepare to be even more amazed.
This was such a good delve in to the lyrics and the meanings behind them. I also love how each song connects to song before, she sings through a feeling then once she's acknowledged it or accepted it for what it is she moves on to the next feeling and starts fighting the next fire with the same honesty (if not more) Its an absolute masterpiece.
You’ve never seen her SNL guest musician version of When We Were Young? You are in for a treat! She was asked in an interview who she pointed to in the audience and she spoke of a childhood friend she’d reconnected with that was in the audience that night. It is so beautiful, hopeful, and my favorite of her live performances.
So enjoying this. Please watch her interview on Apple Music re 30 and the lyrics. Such intimate insight into this amazing storyteller and artist. Really appreciate your reactions
I honestly didn’t expect to fall in love with an Adele album but now she’s my favorite singer of all time tbh. I can’t think of one person that can sing as good currently.
I was so waiting for this reaction! Tried not to listen to any of the songs (which was very hard btw) and have a first reaction with you because I really like your commentary! ♥️
I love & appreciate this SO much! Listening for the first time together is an experience in always doubly grateful for! Hope you enjoyed the album ♥️♥️
I have been watching every review 😅👀 and everytime I hear and understand something different and more to a song. Like wine drunk I don’t think I appreciated it as much my first listen but yeah omg so many nuggets!! Definitely an album that deserves multiple listens.
I loved everything from this reaction, just that.💚🪐 Pd. Adele said that ‘I Drink Wine’ was originally a 15 minutes song, but she was told to cut it and make it a 6 minutes song. 😭🍷
Hey there! Hope you'll see this, I've been watching your Adele videos back to back, notice that you heard the bonus track from 21 that someone recommended to you. if no one hasn't yet, id like to recommend that her 30 and 25 albums have bonus tracks if you picked up the target edition. Would be awesome to see your reaction to the tracks you missed out on because they're not on any streaming platform, but you can for sure youtube them :). Keep up the great work on your videos. 25: Can't Let go Lay Me Down Why Do You Love Me 30: Wild Wild West Can't Be Together
Awesome review/reaction #Easyonme is actually for her son, explaining to him why she had to give up and went with a divorce. She is simply asking him to be easy on her with her decision for her own happiness despite the consequences her son may come around. It explains well in the 2nd verse. In 2nd verse, she says "You can't deny how hard I've tried. I changed who I was to put you both first//But now I give up" She even gave her ex-husband a house right by hers so he could have the best of both parents.
can some of yall chill w the "CAN YOU REACT TO *insert album or song* PLEASE"...... it's getting embarrassing and exhausting. like it's okay if you want him to react to an album or a song but if the first and only thing you say when you see this video is "okay but please react to this album or song" then you need to shut up and stop watching. there's so many comments of people just bombarding michael with "react to this" or "film a reaction to that" or whatever like just, idk, appreciate the videos and reactions he's giving us???
Yay I was waiting for this. If you get the chance, please react to faouzias stripped ep. she’s a Moroccan Canadian trained pianist and singer and she’s always given me Adele vibes with her vocal power and ballads. She also uses arab tonalities in her music. You could also react to stripped live in concert where she sings all the ep songs live. It’s on her RUclips channel.
I'd suggest George Michael as an artist with 4 consecutive top albums. In a way, he's similar to Adele in storytelling... not the same obviously... but both take their time with their albums and don't really put out anything that isn't good, and the albums are very authentic and personal, yet in so many ways universal.
Love the attention to the lyrics. I'm still noticing new appreciation in this album with each listen and songs I didn't immediately connect with, I'm starting to understand more within the context of the album itself. As for other artists who have consistency, hmm, I think Florence + The Machine has consistently been able to maintain their essence but build on their previous body of work with each new album. The albums have a throughline of the lead singer --Florence Welch's, life at each time and the production and lyrical content of the music and songs match that story even if it's not always as explicit as Adele's writing style. I also think that Bruno Mars has steadily improved, too, but you're right that it's definitely less common and I think that may be due to the industry profiting off of pushing singers to create albums on extremely tight deadlines.
I literally sit here talking to you through then entire video and sometimes I forget you can't hear me 🤣🤣🤣 I had this album playing on a loop when it was released until I had every song memorized 🥰
I Drink Wine was originally 15 minutes long but her label said that it's too long (i think they wanted it to be a single at some point) so she had to cut it
This album devastated me. My takes… some of the songs feel like 2000s rom com montage music and I love it to death, can I get it chorus is too Shawn medezee for me, my lil love ripped me to pieces. The whole album sounds like a soundtrack. It’s so much more then just songs- it’s a full production
The label gave her 100’s of millions of dollars to make this album. They knew. Already double platinum and still rising. Not all attention dead. Just not enough musicians with her ability, lyrics or musicianship. Of course we knew. Best album of 2021 after 2 mos.
Funny thing I drink wine was supposed to be 12 minutes long but her label was like as much as your fans love you no one is going to listen to a 15 minute song
I know why you were crying in "i drink wine". The lyrics speaks things who perpasse us all specially arround the 30, but i believe that song portrait collective pains.
I saw strangers by nature about her son. A child and it's mother are actually strangers by nature at first. Nurture what she's done.... Her son and her self healing... That was my interpretation
I’m not sure if you’ve already reacted to Sam smiths “The Thrill of it All” but if you haven’t already I would 100% recommend this album as this is one of my favorite albums ever and I have a feeling you’ll like it too!

They're divorced and live across the street from each other.
The way she just gave us the 5 stages of grief: denial & isolation, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

Interesting you mention him.... She did his tribute at the Grammy's and famously did a false start. Can I Get It reminds me of some of his work.
to be loved, best song on the album, song of the year.
Adele's pen game is unparalleled. I'm a diehard Lady Gaga fan but I've had this album on replay more than I did with Chromatica.
Love is a game a perfect homage to the sound of Marvin Gaye and the soul movement 1960s and 1970s and soul train.
The end of I drink wine, also my favorite, I think she's talking about Simon, her ex.

PLEASEEEE react to Selena Quintanilla! All her songs are so good! Especially “I could fall in love” and “dreaming of you”
I drink Wine and To Be Loved are the best tracks on the album.
Washing her hands in the water looking for gold, I take as she put so much into her relationship with Simon and she wasn't getting anything out of it.
