i like how you actually listen to everyone in the comments you ask what we want and we get the video the next business day
the only time it wasn't like that was for the brat remix 😭

@@jaxsondamusicmon u should listen to taylor swift bad blood ft. Kendrick Lamar
She sounds like Billie because she inspired Billie, billie even said that Lana inspired and “created” her
Girl get a job
million dollar man being the least streamed is crazy, its one of the best
IM SAYING😭 i was surprised when he said that
Her live performance of it is amazing
The least streamed is lucky ones on the deluxes version
@@october6081LITERALLY, like the way my jaw dropped
Is this what makes us girls
I’m surprised you didn’t like off to the races wow. A lot of people’s fave from the album. The beats and lyrics just top tier
i feel like this is a song where if you get it you get it 🫣 it’s one of my absolute faves of her but it’s just a representation of her and her vibe if this even makes sense
it’s my fav of all time. it’s a literal story book i love it, also she kind of spits so a lot of the males that listen tend to enjoy that part.
same its my fave track the vibe is just immaculate
it took me a couple of plays to feel it i aint fw it when i first heard it but it is a fuckin masterpiece
@@luvqr6161factsss!! the imagery is so good if u get it really makes feel the song wholeheartedly when u listen to it
Billie Eilish likes Lana Del Rey a lot. She often talks about the influence of Lana in her career. Lana and Billie had a collabs on Coachella in 2024.
Yeah there’s a video too and she said Born to Die album was basically her influence or her favourite recently and as she said at Coachella “she’s the reason for all you b……s” 😂 but Billie and Lana are different for me id put both in different categories as it’s hard to put them in a genre because they’re just themselves and you can’t really compare them to anyone else that’s around or even past artists 😌

GOAT
When I’ve seen people react to born to die and it’s people who have never really listened to Lana before they all say they don’t like off to the races which is strange because collectively off to the races is a fan favourite song it’s def one of my favourites on born to die
maybe it’s a sorta acquired taste? Idk lol i really like it too
Maybe because we all listened to her when we're like 14? People's music tastes are often shaped around that time. On top of that she performs that song as a closer every time she tours so that might further increase people's affection towards it further.
clock!! off to the races is incredible and one of the first songs ive heard from lana alongside old money
its definitely the best on the album for me. completely paints the cinematic sound and sets the tone for the rest of the album. and the way she uses her voice is unlike any other song she's released. some BTD tracks feel a lil corny to me but off to the races is CAMP
its definitely a grower, quite overwhelming
Thank you for keeping the whole song in and not cutting parts of it out 🤩
never understood that tbh
@@jaxsondamusicmon i think its because of copyright

i dont care
ultraviolence is like her best album u gotta do that one next! :)
NFR as well!
PLEASE BROO, DO IT 😢
THISSSSS
YESS
Ocean blvd is her best , I’m ready to fight
Idk if anyone said this but in her song Carmen she is talking about herself and yes she had a drinking problem when she was a teenager
I've been a Lana STAN & defender ever since I heard the Kill Kill EP on soundcloud in 2009 back when she was still Lizzy Grant so reading all the comments from Lana fans dropping all the Lana lore has me smiling & kicking my feet rn 😂😂😂 I feel like a proud parent seeing how far she's come lmaooo
the national anthem music video is TOO GOOD you must watch
omg im so happy that ur actually reacting to lana 😭
We NEED your Spotify man, your playlists must be elite cause of all these reactions 😭🙏

He's named JAX on spotify and has an olivia rodrigo pfp
@@versaxcce did u find it ? cuz i search but i didn't found it
@versaxcce Thank you 😭
The National Anthem music video changed the trajectory of my life at 12 years old
National anthem has a beautiful video... with asap rocky
Yes he has to react
immediately singing along Dark Paradise is REAL
this album also has 3 great deluxe tracks, and a repackage called "The Paradise Edition" including her following album Paradise as like a Side-B to it. don't forget to check all of that out
Paradise itself also has a bonus track called "Burning Desire", so maybe you wanna check out "Born to Die: The Paradise Edition (𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻) instead? LOL
Paradise is the greatest
I need to see him react to Ride, Cola & Without You.
my biggest flex is that I bought 2 front row tickets to see her during the Paradise tour in 2013 for $75/each ... I can't afford her tickets now though lmaooo
55:42
Jaxon: “WHYY?? WHYYYY?? TELL ME!”
Lana: “I don’t know😔” 😂
Born to die is such an amazing album by many factors, but at the time of its release in 2012 critics destroyed this album because either of lanas 2012 SNL performance or because this album wasn't what pop was at the moment and also cause of authenticity, which is so dumb because now those same people and much more have realized how influential this album truly is.
Off to the Races is a sick beat but most straight dudes can’t get past her voice in it
I always loved the beautiful irony of men hating her voice in Off to the Races because she's dramatizing the stereotypical "damsel in distress" baby voice for those verses specifically because shes using it to manipulate the man the song is about because he's infatuated with the idea of her being a defenseless woman & underestimating her
Not liking Off to the races is criminal 😅. Her voice, the lyrics, the tempo changes… pure talent
16:30 yep, this album and Lana is blueprint for all the pop girlies out there in the scene like from taylor to billie they all took inspo from her.
And this album is very significant for 2010's pop scene and whole tumbler era
OMGG I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS
I LOOOOVE LANA, YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO REACT TO HER OTHERS ALBUMS
Lana is Carmen and also There’s 3 bonus tracks for this album, lucky ones lolita and without you. And there’s the ep called paradise which u def should react to
Since you liked National Anthem so much, you should watch the mv from this song. The monologue at the end is WILD! After all these years since the first time i saw it, i still think about it often 🤯💯
Love your reactions man!
Carmen is in reference to herself when she was young. She was addicted to alcohol as a teen and that why she was sent to boarding school (referenced in this is what makes us girls)
Diet mount dew is about the addiction of something how it’s bad literally like the soda but that’s really why she repeats herself everything she does is intentional.
I love Diet MNT Dew but I doubt that's the case. It's likely that she wanted to make a catchy hook because she's a pop singer.
@@adam.n-steve No, it's because it was cutted. The demo has more verses.
@@adam.n-steve she literally says in the song “you’re no good for me but baby I want you” literally addicted to a toxic relationship or to other things.
@@coryb7404 but that's what the reactor is talking about. He's talking specifically "diet MNT dew baby New York city" part. Also, I'm not arguing about the subtext. It's the repetition of the main chorus I'm talking about. I don't she's trying to use the chorus over and over again to insinuate the addiction. The lyrics themselves implied it already.
diamond dew tho
49:24 it's French 😂😂😂
It says:
My love, I know you love me too
You need me in your life
You can't live without me
And I'll die without you
I'll kill for you
😅
I NEED YOU TO LISTEN TO ULTRAVIOLENCE OMG
OR LUST FOR LIFE
for real
seeing him glazing on blue jeans made my day 😩🙏
blue jeans best fucking song I said what I said
Lana deserves a grammy😭
REAL
Now we need your reactions to all of her albumssssss😫😫😫
watching this makes me feel like i’m discovering lana for the first time again 🥲🩷
47:14 - basically she wrote Carmen to give a name that would represent her in her early teens, as those were her so called 'wild years' (relating to the lyrics about drinking, etc, etc). You see more of her talking about those years in This Is What Makes Us Girls, which in an interview talking about the song, she said that when everyone in her house fell asleep she was out the window and her real life began. We obviously don't know the true extent of how truthful the lyrics are in Carmen, but with repeated references to NYC which she seemingly adores, and references to the alcoholism she used to suffer from, everything tends to be more and more believable.
When lana said Old Man she was talking bout a older man she was with
you NEED to watch the lana and billie coachella collab performance it was so good !!
Don’t spoil it.
It was good because of billie Lana voice was cracking up there
@@RANIAxxx777I actually felt the exact opposite about that performance 😅
carmen is about her life before fame! ps i would love to see a reaction on her album Paradise or her latest single Tough ft. quavo!
YES PARADISE AND THE 3 TRACKS ON THE DELUXE
Paradise FIRST BEFORE ULTRAVIOLENCE DELUXE
everyone always forgets about Paradise 😔
a lot of the stories or woman talked abt in lanas music like carmen are her own experiences told in 1st 2nd and mainly 3rd person point of view so shes basically narrating her own life.
so, idk if u get the lyrics in dark paradise but i'm glad u enjoyed it. it's not about a breakup, but about a partner passing away. love ur reactions btw im sorry for my broke english
Lana has so much flaw literally. She can rap so good too
i think you mistyped that bud!
I KNEW national anthem would go off for you hahaha
Lana del Rey created Billie Eilish and most of the 'sad girls' of the 2010s, her influence in music is crazy underated. You should totally check the rest of her discography
No
Amy winehouse did it first
Summertime Sadness was all over the radio for 5ever when it came out, so not surprised it has the most streams since it's definitely one of her most known song. That one and of course Young and Beautiful. Definitely check that one out if you haven't
Jaxson!!! My guy!! 🔥 it is such a pleasure to see your reaction in real time with National Anthem.. that's how I feel every time I hear it, and I've been listening to that song every year, multiple times, since 2012
she’s had a million stage names before sticking to lana, a couple are may jailer and lizzy grant. she settled on lana del rey right before starting born to die because of its elegance. and that’s the era she became famous, so it stuck.
I love your reaction bro!!! Keep it up for Lana i promise her later albums will be alot crazier, this is just the beginning of a whole legacy i promise!!!
he's so good at interpretting the lyrics, i'm loving his videos so far
I like that you're actually honest I swear all the reviews I see are just them liking everything they review
You have to react to her latest album did you know that theres a tunnel under ocean blvd. It is a lyrical masterpiece and it was the first album of hers i heard and i was so impressed. It is probably her saddest album though
Griddying to diet Mountain Dew 😂
Paradise first before ultraviolence
not Jaxson having 2 antennas to have better connection with Lana’s playlist 🌚
LMAO IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO REALIZE WHAT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT
i suggest you do the deluxe track + the paradise ep next, which are in total 12 tracks (13 if you also listen to burning desire which is a bonus song on paradise) so it's like another album!
im all in for this Lana Journey. Loved this reaction so much and over all the honesty in your opinion and we can see you are a real music lover. Thnx for this
Would love to see more of lana on the channel, she is a very good storyteller so I recommend to use genius more when listening to her
idk if you take requests lmao so my apologies if not, but one of the albums i can absolutely recommend considering you are a hip-hop fan is dummy by a trip-hop band from bristol called portishead who are also one of the prime influences for lana del rey’s sound. trip-hop has an atmospheric, downtempo, hypnotic sound and in the case of portishead, it makes use of stuff like drum breaks from vinyl records and fusing it with electronic sound resulting in a sound reminiscent of vibes from spy films. their lyrics are also pretty cryptic and indirect with interesting and abstract storytelling which draw me in to this day. thought i’d suggest.
Great video as always.
As a lana super fan I'm not crazy about this album tbh. It's still early in her career and I feel like her voice and her artistry hadn't matured fully yet, there's just glimpses. I think you'll love "ultraviolence" and her newer work that's way more mature thematically "blue banisters" and "ocean blvrd"
Now that you've listened to Million Dollar Man, u have to listen to the 2012 Live Performance of the song, its like 100x better
I have sm respect for you letting us know when you don’t rock with a track. too many reaction channels put on a front to preserve their audience’s feelings & it always feels false. when you’re honest and let us know that you don’t like a song, it lets me know you’re being sincere when you do like one.
Love the video!! I was so relieved to see you like national anthem omg 😭 maybe we can see Ethel Cain next? She’s got a great album called Preacher’s Daughter
born to die is ok for me personally. her discography definitely gets better though. also excited for that imaginal disk reaction!
how something who got summertimes sadness video game and blue jeans ( my fav ) can be ok? catalog can become better but to say THIS IS OK ? idk man ....
@derni2221 video games is definitely my favorite from the album. I might sound basic for this but nfr is my favorite Lana album.
@@Elizeusarvin omg . how nfr is amazing to you but born to die is "OK" ?
I prefer the paradise edition I feel like paradise is so underrated and the songs on there clear btd
@@derni2221 Born To Die is a decent album. It sure does has its own highlights (The title track, Video Games, SS) but in my opinion she has released better projects within her career. Btd surely does have a lot of impact on the current soundscape but that does not makes a record "flawless" or sounding any better. I think that some sound ideas on this album hasn't aged that well, the lyrical content is not that impressive as in comparison to what someone might hear in her further released LPs. The production is good, it has a lot of memorable hooks and it's a pretty fun album overall but I don't think it's one or her best
Million dollar man is my fav I don’t know why its not so popular like born to die or summertime sadness 😢
you should totally react to the paradise edition its SOOOO good
Blud went and hit the griddy 💀
This album will never gets old.❤
lana got sent away to boarding school at 14 because of her drinking problems Carmen is about herself
at 14 is crazy, thankfully she's fine now
YESSS OMFGGGGGGG FINALLYYYYY REACT TO ULTRAVIOLENCE NEXT ITS HER BEST ALBUM
100%
Oooohhhh!!
Noo he needs to react to paradise
Up
NOooooo Paradise next
She has a deluxe and then she did a SZA and has a small album that is supposed connected to Born To Die called Paradise
I’m glad more people are finally seeing Lana’s talent and uniqueness to the music industry ❤
Seeing you react to either Norman Rockwell, Ocean Blvd and Blue banister would be peak.
been loving your channel sm recently! I love lana. Her discography is full of emotional and empathetic songs. She’s the embodiment of a songwriter and often leans on the melancholy and nostalgic which is why she’s so great and unique.
PS: I also don’t really like off to the races so you’re not alone on that
Love from India!!! I’ve been watching you for like five hours now…no regrets. Radio is my favourite in this album❤
lmaoo not him vibing happily bopping his head to summertime sadness🤣🤣
n then dj'ing it🤣
The title, yessssssssssssssss
the little french monologue in Carmen is taken from Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita. there’s a poem in there related to Carmen, and was likely the inspiration to write this song in the first place since Lana is a fan of that book and even wrote a song about it (+ off to the races is indirectly related to the book)
oh my god yes Lana reactions
Honestly, I can’t comprehend how Million Dollar Man is the least streamed song either.
Hauntingly beautiful.
we need moreeee lana reactionsss!
ULTRAVIOLENCE PLEASE I LOVE THESE VIDEOSSS ❤
HE’S MISSING OUT ON ULTRAVIOLENCE FR 😭
Can’t wait for the Lana journey ❤
I honestly don’t understand how we as people can sit and watch people listening and reacting to music because I sat here listening to the whole thing and I love the reactions
you should listen to preacher's daughter by ethel cain. it's an amazing album and its life changing 😭😭😭
My favourite album of all times forreal ❤
as a lana del rey fan whose favorite album is norman fucking rockwell PLEAAASSE listen to it!!
LETS GOOOO LANA
paradise or ultraviolence next!
Next Lana reaction must be BTD The Paradise Edition. Also so glad you appreciate Radio and Million Dollar Man lol those are definitely some of the most underrated tracks imo.
- national anthem music video
- ultraviolence album- lana
cant wait for the paradise edition
Born to Die is Masterpiece ❤
I NEED YOUR REACTION TO LUST FOR LIFE💔💔💔
we need the rest of the lana discography.....
My parents used to throw a huge 4th of July block party every year & I snuck National Anthem onto the party's playlist my mom made 😂😂 (somehow they never noticed & it played all 7 years it was on there)
Dark Paradise is probably one of her most personal songs since its about an ex-boyfriend who passed away. So, in essence, it's a tragic song about how she can't escape the fact that he's dead instead of just not with her.
ULTRAVIOLENCE NOWWWW
Bro Lana will always be on top for her unique sounds and very poetic writing
Million Dollar man is my FAVORITE song, idk why is so underrated
dude you have to watch the national anthem music video
YOU SHOULD REACT TO HER ULTRAVIOLENCE ALBUM!!!
Oh my God you’re in for the ride of your life I am so excited for this!!!!!!
