Yes. I've seen a lot of reactions and this is a top one. I wish I could see the entire Jon Denton's reaction. That one seems really good too, although is cut :(
Lana isn’t Spanish from what we know but she lived in Miami and knows a lot of spanish from her time there. So she can speak it pretty fluently! Great reactions bro, make sure you listen to Ocean Blvd and Blue Banisters too! Those are some of her best tbh
“SHE IS THE PLAYLIST” truth. Honeymoon reaction next sir. Make a nice drink and set the stage for jazz mixed with trap & ethereal spaced out production. It’s glamorous, with film noir / bond villian energy. It’s my fav album of all time. It’s epic in a different way, def less immediate than UV, but its subtleties and gentleness are deeply impactful! Thanks for this video it made me smile ☺️

It really only gets better from here. Excited to continue watching your Lana journey. More people need to open their mind to her and put their preconceived notions aside. She is a brilliant lyricist and even better singer if that’s possible. As her music matures in her latest albums she has solidified herself as one of the best to ever make music imho Edit: btw I’ve listened to dozens of music reactors especially Lana ones and you are hands down my favorite. Keep being you man
This is one of the best reactions I have ever seen on RUclips. You just understood the vibe of the whole album on first listen. You just GET IT! I enjoyed this reaction so much. Your reaction was the same as mine back then so it was as if I heard it for the first time again. Thanks for that!
You're legitimately the most enjoyable most entertaining reactor on RUclips ! No joke ! Your laugh is the best, your commentary is the best, your appreciation of Lana's craft is the best. It's all the best !! 😅❤ Honeymoon must be next ! And ill say this, there's a reason Honeymoon was my first vinyl purchase ! But as long as you just keep going on this Lana journey, we'll all be here for it ! You're a trip dude ! Your energy is so infectious !!! ❤
this album came out when i was going THROUGH it, sitting next to your physical abuser while this album came out was insane lol. It remains my favorite lana project, i grew up on rock and i relate so much to this album. Nothing can beat this for me.
This is special, and 2024 marks the ten-year anniversary . . July? The fans should plan something! It rescued you when you suffered a bad relationship. This is the album Lana said, "good bye" to . . ."
Lana is fully American but is fluent Spanish due to living in Spain from the ages of 16-20 during her late teenage years!! She also lived in Miami for a while before settling in California so she grew up with Spanish influence!! I LOVE UR REACTIONS TO HER MUSIC. THE PASSION IS HOW WE ALL FEEL WITH THIS ALBUM.
She did not live in Spain until she was 20 lol. She has talked about this in old pre-Lana interviews. She went on a study abroad program and lived in Spain with a host family for a semester. It was when she was 15-16 because she mentioned celebrating her 16th birthday on the plane ride over. She then came back and finished up high school in the US and graduated from Kent when she was 17, a few weeks before her 18th birthday. Then she moved to NYC for college (she went to Fordham) when she was 18, there are many interviews where she talks about moving to NYC at that age. There's no evidence she ever lived in Miami either, she did say she used to go there a lot with friends (Florida is a popular vacation destination with New Yorkers) but she's never claimed to live there.
10:10 you probably didn’t notice, but the background lyrics in this part of the song are the same from the song “Fucked my way up to the top”. I’ve been a Lana fan for a while and I only realized recently!
after revisiting lana's music and REALLY analyzing the music/lyrics/fans, i can say you pick up on the small things most people miss. her influence from hiphop, the old asethetic, how well she slows on the beat. i could swear youre an experienced fan with how much you get it
omg this my fave reaction of alltime!!! you reminded me of when i bought this album in barnes and nobles 10 years ago and had my mind blown during listening to this album. thank u so so so much and cant wait for honeymoon!
There’s a secret deluxe track called “Flipside” that was only released in Japan, u can find it on RUclips it’s amazing. Pls react to Paradise or Ocean blvd next
Oh man, the way you enjoyed this album is wonderful, I'd loved Lana since 2012, this album it's my jam since it came out and seeing your reaction makes me feel so nostalgic, this year marks 10 years since this album was released and it's still my fav from her discography. There is no doubt that you discovered Lana's music and your life has changed because she's a wonderful singer-songwriter and composer, but the most important thing's that you know how to enjoy her beautiful voice. Give all of her albums a listen, we'll be here to see your next reactions.
I always loved Lana but when she released this record I literally fell in love with her and to this day it’s the one record of hers that I can listen to in full any day of the week and never skip a song. It’s so fucking good and came out at such a like …. Important time in my life. It’s a masterpiece
Fun Fact. Money Power Glory - originally had a collab with The Weeknd Back in 2014 when the album was being recorded. Leading up the to release of the frequent remixes & collabs with the two arists. Scratching the song and never releasing the song. You can still listen on youtube. The two artists have a lot of chemistry together whether its in the studio, on songs and within interviews. We hope one day that the two will release an album together.
It’s 2AM in South Africa right now, saw this and knew I had to wake up properly for it. Thank you Metri for this moment this album, NFR and Honeymoon are top 3 in her discography hopefully Honeymoon is next.
subscribed to see you go through her discography!! i know her albums and songs front to back, but i love how you always point out to details that i haven't paid enough attention before, and it's also just fun to see you reacting haha
metri i recommend you listen to honeymoon next ❤️ it’s right after ultraviolence and it’s completely different from all of lana’s other albums…definitely a 10/10 album with one of the best opening songs ever
No matter how many times I have listened to ultraviolence the song, it ALWAYS hits me really hard. it wrecks me. I cry every single time. The play on "I can hear (police) sirens sirens violins violins" instead of 'violence' n how her mind changes the police sirens sound to violins to protect herself, and the "we can go back to the start when I don't know who you are" wish I had never even known you and the "I could have died right there in his arms b/ he was right beside me"- he could have literally killed me right then and there; "Jim taught me that loving him was never enough"- learning that no matter how much I loved it was never enough for you. ahhh I can go on n on, it always gets to me.
cruel world is my favorite song by her and i think it being the first song was such a smart move. the intro w the guitars is so dreamy and nostalgic and the story is so captivating. the way she sings at the end seems like she’s tired and she had the perfect voice for this type of music. 10/10 album but yea cruel world 10/10
Bro, this is my favorite album of hers and one of my favorites of all time. It's an incredible and very well produced album, finally your reaction is out!
this is why I lolve your videos you're the only person I've seen who genuinely appreciates lanas vocals and her music soo much compared to other people I've seen

Bro I’m scared for chemtrails over the country club and blue banister because they’re so different from her old work and a lot people don’t like them but chemtrails is like nfr and blue banister is jazzy and has some old unreleased music but it’s very lyrical
It brings me so much happiness watching your reactions to Lana. It’s like I get to relive hearing these songs for the first time. She’s today’s greatest poet and siren. Absolute goddess
Crazy how watching you react to an album I’ve loved for so long gives me more of appreciation for it. I never really cared for cruel work or other woman until this video. This really might be her best album lol. But born to die has such a special place in my heart so idk 😂
